Feinel sighed. Well, of course! she thought getting annoyed. "Excuse me if I miss understand you, but I believe you asked me if I am a fire bender. And, I am," she answered trying to retain a polite voice to this pesky stranger.

He continued his motions, seamlessly going from a water-bender form to earth-bender form, to air-bender form... and finaly hitting a move in fire-bender form.
He hasnt mastered all the forms, but he has traveled and practiced. He only knows how to use his fire-bending... he held no hopes that he is the Avatar. But he knows that being able to use the other forms, would throw off any opponent.
However, something broke his concentration. A drop of cold his his nose and his moving meditation shattered. He opened his eyes to see droplets of rain turning to steam due to the amount of heat he has generated into the surrounding area. The ground directly beneath him had turned black from the fire-less inferno. However the cold rain quickly cooled him down and he began to make his way to the temple. Not once getting wet, because his own heat was still so great that the water would just sizzle off the moment it struck him.
Within five minutes he arrived at the temple, and he saw neumerous others around him.

Kilsalt looked back, seeing Kai talking with a girl. His eyes remained on the two while noting how frank and simple Kai was talking with the young woman. While looking away from Phoenix, and at the couple, he quickly replied to her question," A person I knew liked that incense. Said they used it on their dead parents' graves."
Then a rain droplit chose to land on his head. He sighed, and quickly realized that several more people were gathering at Phoenix's guardian's temple.

Kai looked at the girl wondering if shes speacial.....he turns around and walks toward the temple. He noticed someone new there.....He walks up to kilsalt and the other benders without asking any questions.

Feinel sighed and sulked. Alone again, how wonderful she thought to herself. It was better with someone talking to her. Now she was alone and getting wet. Her eyes lingered on the young man that was talking to her walk away back to a group outside the temple. That puzzled her. Well, yes, there are other groups of people around. But this is an odd assemble she marveled in her mind. For awhile she had the impulse to join them, see if they could help her, figure out if one of them had the voice similar to her brother's. That was for awhile, and she resisted the impulse.

Through the growing dampness Kilsalt looked upon the girl that Kaiyen had just left. His dark red eyes filtered through the darkening gloom, aiming to see why the words she had spoken before were odd. Humans listen to their own voices when they speak, and when they speak in a way that they cannot hear themselves, their pitch every odd word is thrown awry. Kilsalt noted that, and made the observation of the girl's slight deafness.
His left hand left his side. The fingers on his lightly scorched hand motioned for Feinel to join the group.

Feinel glanced up to see a man motioning to join him and the group he was with, including the young man who was talking to her. She felt a little nervous about joining, but she came up anyway. Slowly and cautiously, she shifted through the crowds until she was in front of him. "Yes?" she said asking why he motioned her over.

Kai looked back and saw the girl approach Kilsalt. He slighty smiles and shake his head *thinks* hrph, shes a shy girl who searches for her brother.......i wonder where he is....and why she searches for him. He watches the girl and kilsalt wondering if she also would join the group

The heat surrounding him was still quite intense as he walked past the other benders. He saw their instructor... or what he thought was one anyway. They all wanted that one to teach them.
He didnt want to be taught. He would learn what he needed to. He would learn in his own time, and be stronger for it.
He made a silent oath to himself, that he will become so powerful, that he will even be a force the Avatar himself will grow to fear.
Something the fire-lord himself could not hold a candle to. But he had to survive to that day. It would not do to get himself killed before he could let his power grow. He had to wait. Grow stronger.

Kai was watching the young girl with kilsalt, suddenly he felt something...something powerful. He looked back and saw a young bender, by the looks of him...he looked younger, but his aura. It was strong. every time he walks heat seemed to surround him...
Kai *thinks*whos that.....he looks younger, but his presents....its almost.......

He calmed himself, taking a hold of the heat he was generating and forcing it to go down. He was still tensed from his practices. His mind still focused on his movements. Even now he ran his motions through his mind as though he had never stopped.
He looked like he was ready to take on an army all on his own. And if you saw the glare he fixed upon the opposite wall, it looked like the temple itself might have picked up and walked away just so it would not be in his way.
But as powerful as he appeared to be, he was actualy not that much. He knew how to fight... yes... but he still had trouble controling his power. At times he can barely even boil water, and at others, he has to strain to keep his power from setting things a blaze.
But he knew the reason for that... at least. The process of day and night. When the sun came up, his power was stronger, when it went down, he weakened.
But he could control those simple things. It was when unusual things happened. He found he was a little more sensitive to his environment then others.

He watched as the mysterious firebender walked away from the group..."hrph" Kai trys to figure out who he was, but he had no time for that they were to enter the temple and visit Pheonixs guardians.

Phoenix stood watching the events going on around her, a great deal of people had gathered around. Was she really that popular? No, it was most likely Kilsalt who was attracting the crowd.
Suddenly, the temple doors opened and an old man came strolling out. He wore long robes that cascaded around his feet and a smile of a wiseman. "What's with all this congragation?," the old man asked, "Come inside, out of the rain." Phoenix ran over to him and bowed, "Grandfather, I am back."
"Ah there you are Phoenix," he replied, "Did you get the groceries?"
"Most of them," she responded, "But more importantly, I brought a few guests."
"Oh right," he recalled, "Phebos told me."
Phoenix turned sideways, half facing the group, "This is Kilsalt and his students."

"Can you lip read?" He asked Feinel, smiling. His mind ignored the strutting and slightly obnoxious presence of a passing boy. Kilsalt pushed the little one out of his mind to focus on the girl that had approached him.
However, before the little girl responded, the doors opened to the temple. The firebender smiled, seeing that he was being introduced to Phoenix's grandfather- whom, if he recalled right, was the keeper of the sanctuary.
