"Oh thank the gods...SANDWICHES!" Neveah cried out, adoration for all the food showing clearly in her angled aqua eyes. So intent was she on getting food that she never heard someone call out to her the first time, nor did she recognize Kierla at first. The part about Moon frogs though, caught her immediate attention.

"Moon Frogs?! Where!" The butterfly only heard part of what she was asked...obviously. Upon spinning around to see who it was who said something about moon frogs, she finally noticed Kierla. Blinking and sighing lightly, she perked back up as if she'd never made a hearing mistake. "Oh, Moon Frogs...No, not yet. But its definately one of my side projects still!" The stubborn streak boiled back up in her, but like her earlier mistake, it was quickly covered up. "How's the little Pegasus baby?"

After snagging a few sandwiches for herself (GOD was she starving!), the butterfly woman walked back to Kierla, eyeing the little bushes around her. She'd promised to try and find her spiderling an egg, so even if it was only half assed at the time, she was still looking, damnit! "So...Have you found any yet? Easter eggs, I---Waah! Spiderling!" The last part was cried out in surprise as the purple wisp floated away from her, drifting into the bushes lazily. Muttering a brief apology and a promise to return, the lean woman darted after her wisp, which hadn't gone far, but far enough to wiggle around in the under grass. Was it trying to find something on its own?

Impossible, it shouldn't know whats going on!

"Hello," Taylor replied, grinning as she noticed Patrick and the "hoarde" arriving at the party. "Nice party! The eggs are really nice and.... stuff." Out of the corner of her eye, she spied Diacyn sprinting across the garden at top speed, a maniac grin plastered across his face.

Please, non-existant God, don't let him try to eat something. There are enough cute little things here to make him want to go on a killing spree.

Luckily, Diacyn's "spree" was more along the lines of a bird reunion party. "Iamel?" he said, skidding to a halt near the others. "And- oh, cool.

This was the kestrel Iamel had told him about- and he had a sword.

Ohcrap. Ohcrapohcrapohcrap His ninja stars were nothing against that. Time to try to look cool.

"Uh, hey. Yeah, I'm looking for eggs." He flashed his again- sure, it was pink, but it was his egg and the best thing he had so far. "You guys have any?"

"Hey, Taylor!" Patricks hand raised to give the girl a faint wave, lips quirking into a grin. "Where's Baldi--oh, s**t, there he goes. Straight to Woodie and Sword-boy."

Hey, at least he liked Savius. Baldie was, in his opinion, a bad influence on the already not-good Iamel.

"Diacyn?" GLEE! The woodpecker leapt a wee bit in the air and dive-tackled his friend. The moment of attatchment was short-lived, as he had learned that neither of his carnivorous friends were particularily fond of physical touching.

"This is Savius! And...And I'm Iamel!" Beam! "And that's Akilah! he's the one that points." One small finger pointed towards teh chittering meerkat who was currently dragging Akuti this way and that. "Savius has a sword and. Uh. I ...Have a pink egg." Nodnodnod

Diacyn shook his patterned head for a minute, making the neccecary mental adjustement to Iamel's state of permanent sugar rush. He blinked for a moment at Iamel before focusing on the bobbing flame-colored head.

"Akilah? Oh- he's fuzzy," he said, rather stupidly. "So what's the deal with this place? It's all full of smoke and eggs and pointy things that Taylor won't let me touch. And flowers," he added, locating a petal that had gotten lodged between the beads of his necklace.

A quick stare at the still-silent Savius.

He had a sword, and- What were eggs good for? Taylor had picked some gold out of his, but... they weren't especially good missles if they weren't all gooey inside.

"Hi!" Taylor grinned. "Yeah, Diacyn's all-" a quick glance in his direction- "-getting tackled, apparently. I'm just waiting for him to snap and start gnawing on the nearest pair of bunny ears."

"So how's the gang doing?" she added, smiling at the far-too-cute-for-his-own-good Yashima.

After going inside momentaily to tend to his cuts malen returned to the egg hunt and gathering. Seeing Ianna distracted he calmly sidled over to the barbecue looking for all the world as though he belong there. He breathed deep and checked to make sure Ianna hadn't turned the gas on and forgotten about it. Once he was sure that no one was in danger of explouding once the barbecue was lit later he relaxed and simply watched the others having fun.

Carring Kishi once again Del began to look for eggs since there were other doing it again now. Cluing in that it was hunting time again Kishi swished her wand about like a metal detector than pointed towards the one part of the Herb garden Del hasn't had tiem to explore. Figuring it couldn't hurt to try Del headed that way in search of eggs.

Savius couldn't help but grin at Iamel's excitement, waiting patiently for the more energetic boy to stop bouncing before speaking himself. After all, if he kept quite, it seemed like the other bird would fill in all the details for him. "I got this one."

He held out his own egg, more than willing to share in the showing off. Though he hadn't done very well, yet. It seemed like he wasn't as good at hunting eggs as he was at hunting animals. "It's a party. For umm... dead people I guess. They're not stayin' dead though."

Glancing over his shoulder, he checked to make sure Lithle was in sight. Not that he couldn't find his own way home, but he wanted her to stay and 'have fun' or something. She was still there, holding the wand. He wasn't sure how he felt about it... yet. It lay counter to his nature.

Fen on one side, a fluffy new pet thing on the other. He absently scratched both creatures on the head.

"We're 'possed to be celebrating some dude that died. Shiniee calls it Zombie day. Cause he comes back from the dead." Iamel shrugged, tossing his egg back and forth from one hand to the other. "Akilah is a meerkat!"

"Whoever killed him was stupid anyway. I mean, if youre gonna kill something, make sure it's killed DEAD. Not kinda dead, like a scared lizard with no tail. But DEAD. Like. Dead. Food dead. Anyone have food?" Someone had ADD, apparently.

Savius was on teh recieving end of another little beam, Iamels fingers giving both of the larger birds shirts a slight, short-lived tug. "We should find more! More eggs! And kill them dead by throwing them at peoples heads."

......that little ******** gang is...growing.." Patricks voice was a hesitant sigh, running his hand over the back of his neck. "But it turns out male pregnancy is possible! Good news for the scientific community. And looks as if the Birdlets are all having a little meeting. Hn. How're you doing?"

Diacyn's black-and-white eyebrows wrinkled in puzzlement. "So, it's like... a party for zombies? What would zombies want with eggs and bunnies?"

He really did not have the concept of any of this down either, but... he liked zombie movies almost as much as ninja movies, so it was all good.

Unlike Savius, he didn't bother checking up on Taylor. Whatever she was doing, he really did not give a crap. All she did was worry and spaz and occasionally sleep, anyway, so he probably wasn't missing anything new... and if he tried to talk to her, she wouldn't let him do any of the stuff he was currently planning.

"We should throw them at people! And get grenades for the zombies before they eat our flesh and devour our brains. Aaaand... you should slice them up," he mentioned to Savius with the kind of respect that comes from knowing the other guy has a better weapon then you and could probably kick your a** into next Tuesday. But in a few seconds, he was peering into the bushes for extra ammunition.

"Well.... wow. Wow." Taylor did the twitch-spaz thing for a couple of seconds, studying Patrick's belly intently before realizing she probably looked like some kind of pervert. "Half-catboy double-Y-chromosone children? That's... interesting."

"Nothing much is new with me... Diacyn won't quit talking about this party thing Iamel told him about. Apparently there are video games? And blacklights?"

She looked at Patrick with a "please say it isn't so" expression firmly planted on her face.

"I don' like this zombie s**t." Savius muttered, glaring generically around the party. It went against his instincts, really, and he slashed his sword pointedly, as if it might change things. "Death is kinda the point, yeah?"

A shrug, a sigh, a smile. Well, Zombies it was, they might as well make the best of it. "Cool. 'cept anyone who hits my sister dies." It was stated without malice, or force. Savius was confident enough in himself that he didn't feel like he really had to try. If they didn't listen, well that'd be different, but it shouldn't be a problem. "She's next to Lithle." A gesture in their direction. "You can hit my Dad if you wanna, though. It's good for her."

With that said, he joined Diacyn in searching the nearby area for eggs. They'd need ammunition.

"You should give up, you know. There are no such thing as moon frogs," Kierla couldn't help but say, although she knew that a woman as stubborn as Neveah would never take her advice. "Aricia? Oh, the devil's around here somewhere. Not a baby yet, I'm afraid though. And your little Drow-whatever?"

Kierla unwrapped one of the sandwiches and took a bite of it. After she swallowed, she replied: "I've had no choice in the matter; Aricia is a very stubborn brat in these matters. I've been hopping around this entire time like a confounded bunny, poking under bushes and things. Most undignified."

"I like death," Iamels voice was offhanded at that, pocketing his egg and almost jumping onto Diacyns back to help him look for eggs - "Do bunnies really poop out the eggs?"

He was curious, diving into the bushes and spreading them, glancing from side to side. "Heeeere eggie eggie eggie! Come to the Shiniee! Heeeere eggie!"

Patrick winced at Taylors expression, glancing in his guilty way to the side. "....his room has blacklights, a computer, string-lights, a DDR machine, X-Box, Playstation, Super Nintendo and loads of video games. He also likes to color. He's drawn a bunch of Diacyn... and yeah. I promised he could have a sleepover with his friends. So far it's those two over there and Xaxis."

"I probably should give up..." Neveah murmured, entertaining the thought as she chewed on a piece of her most delicious ham sandwich. "...But I'm not going to!" She concluded stubbornly, an amused grin forming on her lips. Apparently, she was one of those 'Until thoroughly proven otherwise, its probably true' people.

"Aren't you supposed to be watching the ghostie thing, though?" Neveah leaned her head to the side, squatting in the bushes around where her spiderling wisp was, to keep tabs on it. "Spiderling's fine, I think...I've never dealt with a spirit wisp before, so I'm pretty sure it's okay. Its really lazy though, for whatever reason." She shrugged a bit, turning back to find where the wisp had gone in the grass, taking a bite of her sandwich and using the other hand to part the green blades for it, to help it look.

"We just got here, so I haven't hopped around like a confounded bunny yet." The butterfly said absently, still helping her wisp poke through the grass. "I read a book once though, that raising kids in general can be very undignified at times. You know, with all the cooing and awwing and playing...Might as well get used to it now, eh?" She laughed, shaking her head.

If Kierla had been a lesser woman, she would have turned green. As it was, she turned a little pale. "Cooing and awwing. How...nice." She tried to imagine herself doing that, and gagged inwardly.

"Do you think I should go back and watch it? I told it I was just going to go get things to eat. What kind of trouble can it get into? And it's not like it's going to wander off or anything...I think. It has a lot of pretty eggs to amuse itself with."

Kierla almost laughed at Neveah's description of the wisp. For some reason. It amused her. "Lazy...well, I wouldn't worry. Not much a wisp can do, I am sure yours is not the only one that seems a little 'lazy.'"

Kierla was feeling extremely talkative today, for whatever reason. "I am sorry for...chattering so. I'll let you get back to your sandwich."

The butterfly woman's eyes lowered knowingly and playfully as she by chance caught the woman paleing. "And diapers and clothes and mud baths and throw up..." Neveah continued on, quickly finishing the list of the undignified ways of a future parent. "I've been reading about it a lot lately...like I said before, I've NO experience with kids, and zilch maternal instincts..." So it made perfect sense to learn about it first, then attempt to aquire it, piece by piece.

Neveah then shrugged. "Thats up to you...if you want, you could bring it over here to hunt with Spiderling over there." She pointed down at the wiggling wisp in the grass that she was following while crouched down. "This is the most active I've seen it, actually...usually it just hangs around my wrist. Do you think it knows that its doing?" Blinking curiously at Kierla's last statement, the butterfly fluttered her wings and waved her hand in a dismissive manner.

"Don't apologize! I like to talk anyway! Spiderling's not letting me stay and eat my sandwich in one place, and I'm sure I can do three things at once. I promise I won't be rude when I eat, either! So if you'd like, you're welcome to stay and chat with me!" Besides, she liked the company! Once she said that, she took a bite of her sandwich again, chewing on it as she continued to help her wisp thread through the grass, poking at any shiney objects she may find within the blades.
