" Aye. I'm comin'" Jamie picked up her pace, lightly jogging to come to a trot beside Nicolas. She was glad he had gotten them through the door, but she was of course slightly angered that she ahd allowed something so simple of an answer to slip her mind. The small woman began to skip lightly, her modd hightened as they ventured deeper into the darkness. Once again she almost ran into the wall.
Now she rose a brow, skidding to a halt, hands resting on the stone door to keep herslef from falling. " Beat ya to it Mister Pirate. " Jamie commented, grinning back at Nicolas. She then looked to the words, trying to read them first. It was more so like they were battling each other within their team now. It was about pride and bragging rights.

This door seemed different, the writing wasn't just carved into the stone. The carved letters were filled with gold! This appears to be the last door, so are you ready for the The Stone Door's Test?! The riddle reads: ' I look down on you, but I do not notice if you look back. Though no embarrassment or shame befalls ones I gaze upon, still all become flushed eventually when I do so.
What am I?'

Hearing Rachel's words, Katherine almost punched the air with glee. Now they would definitely get some alone time. She trotted eagerly down the left path, then just as eagerly back up when she realized they weren't following her.
With a swift check to her memory the Captain remembered that she'd been assigned the middle path, along with Rachel and the brat. Trying her best to look nonchalant, she whistled lightly as she walked back towards the group.
"Yes, that pathway is safe for you to travel. At least the first part is. Wouldn't want anyone to get hurt."
Coughing slightly to cover embarrassment, she turned on her heel and marched down the center path towards the door.

Although Jamie had hurried towards the door first, Nicolas quickly peered over the shorter woman's head to read the words quickly. They sunk into his mind and something about them seemed so familiar. His father had never been one for silly games, especially after the death of their mother, but when Nicolas was a child, often his younger sister would scurry about behind him offering riddles and jokes to amuse him. She only wanted his company, but more often than not, the young boy shoved her away. Now, as an adult, he was facing the same riddle young Raine had asked him as a child.
As if his sister had been aiding him down the tunnel, Nicolas had been rewarded with the answers. He seemed to know the answers to the ridiculous questions being asked. What use would come of those riddles? he always wondered as a child, but now, as an adult, he finally knew.
Pausing for only a moment, the man felt a single word roll off of his tongue, "The Sun."

" Its the Sun!" Jamie followed suit, glaring at the male standing over her. Curse! She had forgotten he was much taller than she he was. She let out a exaggerated grumble and crossed her arms, glaring at the door, tilting her hips. " Aye, you were faster than me.."
The woman thought back to when she had lived int he cities. When she hd danced the streets for coins and food. There had been an old man who would tell riddles ont he corner. He would always be surrounded by the children, including Jamie. It was he that she had remembered the riddle from.
Now she looked to the door, beginning to chew on her bottom lip once more.

The last door crumbles into dust, the path seemed to still continue, but what was that? Some light at the end? It was faint but it was there. You better hope it isn't another door.
Nicolas and Jamie have another 10 minute break before they can continue into the path with some faint light at the end of it.

Rachel and Gabriel both begin to laugh at the Captain going down the wrong path, they walk down the middle path with Katherine, Gabriel being more quiet than usual.
Rachel smirks, "dont worry, we will get some alone time." She grows silent, the onl sound from her came from her boots against the stone floors. The click clack sound was a bit annoying after a while, she though tabout taking off her boots, perhaps when they lost the child...
Gabriel stays quiet, even the monkey was quiet, and that wasn't a normal thing. This temple was overly dark, Gabriel wasn't a fan of the dark, so he stayed close to Rachel and Katherine, but tried to appear like he wasn't afraid.

Jamie blinked as she looked down the tunnel. Again it was the darkness. It took the young woman a moment to realise though that there was something odd about the end of the tunnel. Light! The woman's eyes widened and she began to walk towards the end of the tunnel. Her heels clicked quickly as she stepped up her pace, a smile plastered to her face.
" Nicolas!" She somewhat shouted as she began to slightly lose control. She had never found a treasure on her own before. It had always been through other crewmens efforts or through the wits and strength of the man that had once been in her life.
Now though, now. It was her doing. Yes, the elf was with her. But she had conquered her own fears and used her own brains to aid in the hunt. Now the light at the end of the tunnel beckoned her.
[Edit] Jamie Gallows had broken into a swift run, leaving th emale behind, or so she thought, as she sprinted through the darkness towards the faint light. Though it wasnt faint anymore. It was brightening. The woman sheilded her gaze as she drew close. Her speed slowed as she stopped at the entrance of the almost glowing area ahead. Jamie's silohette was illumintated to Niolcas behind her.

Katherine grinned at Rachel's words, though she didn't understand how it would work. Especially seeing as she was so twitchy about doing anything in front of the child before, and now there was the native following them too.
The Captain herself had no problem with it, if the native wanted to watch then good for him, and the brat needed an education sometime. Eyeing how close he was to the master-at-arms, Katherine wondered if he hadn't gotten one already.
She was so involved in watching Gabriel's interactions with Rachel that she almost smacked head first into the huge stone slab serving as a door.

Although Nicolas had answered the riddle at a faster pace than the woman, he seemed to still be staring at the place in which the door once was. The words of the previous riddle had remained with him and as he thought of them once more, they came to him in a delicate voice of a young woman. It had been years since he had heard her voice and the sound caused the hairs on the back of his neck to stand on end. With a scowl, he tried to keep the sounds from repeating, but still he heard the riddle being spoken.
It was only until his partner's voice shouted his name that he realised his thoughts had halted their quest. Snapping back to attention, he began after Jamie, his familiar grin returning to his face. The elf was both pleased to reach the end of the temple as well as rid himself of the wretched thoughts. He had rid himself of his sister for a reason and now that he was through with her, he needn't think of her any longer!
Gazing forward, he noticed Jamie had taken off before him. With a hunger for treasure and whatever lie ahead, the male quickly took after her, hand instictively grabbing towards the hilt of his blade in case there were anything hiding in the light before them!

Rachel almost laughs at Katherine, except seeing the first door made her wonder, what might the tests be, she looked at the stone slab and begins reading,
"Completely round is fairly rare. Bright and shiny when I'm there. When I'm not, they call me new. But I'm old. Older than you. "
Well that seemed more like a riddle than a test of purity. Perhaps the first set of characters on the first door were added later, and the worn down ones were the correct words.
"Well, anyone have any ideas?"
Gabriel stopped when he saw some strange bug on a wall, he turns his head in the direction Katherine and Rachel were going down, and they were gone! "What... How, when!" His fear took hold of him and he runs back the way they came from. He finds himself back in the opening room, the one that happened to have some light in it.
"Sorry, I guess you are on your own now..."

Katherine squinted at the stone door. Rachel had read it, rattling off what appeared to be some inane riddle. The Captain usually loved games and puzzles of all kinds, but at the moment she was far too distracted by the scent of the master-at-arms to be all that concerned with solving this one.
Rachel smelled like any sailor, sweat and sea salt in equal amounts, not appealing to most noses but it was something Katherine was quiet used to. Overladen, however, was an elusive tropical scent that teased the Captains nose with the memory of fresh fruit and flowers of the jungle.
After an extended silence, Katherine realized that no one was saying anything and they could well be stuck here for days if she didn't speak up. "For gods sake, it's the moon!"

Jamie turned to look back at Nicolas. He was gaining ground and she was set on being the first int he room. She eyed his drawn sword momentarily, drawing her own in the process. With a swift run the woman sprung into the room, jumping over the threshhold that seperated the lit room fromt he horrid dark tunnel. She landed, her knees buckling as she feel a bit further than she had expected.
The woman rolled as she hit the roll, coming up on her knees, they having been slightly scratched as she had fallen. She stared at her hands ont he floor as she caught her breath. The ring on her left hand shone brightly in the light and she drew ina swift breath. The sight of it reminded herself of what a coward she had been and that she would never allow herself to be put in the situation again. Her sky blue eyes looked about the room eagerly then as she stood up and thrust her dagger into the air, looking for Nicolas. " Aye, love! I'll be lettin the crew know i beat ya to it!"

The door infront of Katherine and Rachel rumbles, then slides down into the floor, revileing more of the tunnel. It was dark, and something around them seemed to be missing, but what was it?
Due to Amsterdam and [+]~Kogoro~[+] being the one's to plan this event, they are not able to go for the prize, so 10 minute breaks aren't needed for them.
