This wasn't just punishment, it felt brutal, and maybe a little personal.
As the third one hit, Nuke could feel Drako's weight getting heavier, losing balance.
This was when he looked to whip Damone across the ring.. and would attempt his own Spear on return!

Drako is sent to the ropes, running on fumes and instinct in the ring at this point. he rebounds back, only to have the favor returned from only a couple minutes ago as Nuke clocks him with a spear of his own, leaving him sprawled out on the mat again

Nuke grunted again as he rolled onto his side, holding his ribs from the punishment that he had taken so far.
He pushed himself to his feet, looking over at Drako. At that point he ran to the turnbuckle, as fast as his sore legs would take him, and looked to leap up on to the turnbuckle..
And fly backwards with a Moonsault!

Drako was already down from the spear, leaving him prone for the moonsault that follows that just drives the air completely out of him, leaving him lying slightly on his side after the impact

This must be it!
The moonsault had connected beautifully, and Nuke immediately shuffled his body over after impact, hooking Drako's leg for a pinfall!

Drako kicks out with force this time, turning his body back on his side from the effort as he refuses to stay down. The crowd burst into cheers as they were sure the Dragon was down for the count this time

The camera panned in on both men as the kick out happened.
Nuke was on his side, staring at his opponent, eyes and mouth wide open.
The crowd went absolutely ballistic, and not a single person was sat on their seat.
The ref checked both men, and Nuke almost shoved him away subconsciously.

Drako is once again trying to catch his bearings. Rolling back onto his back, the lights hit his eyes so at least he's aware generally of where he is. He still doesn't have the energy to get back up yet, but he's working on it

Nuke was struggling but, at this particular moment, maybe not quite as much as Drako.
He shook his head and tried to get towards the corner, aiming to use the turnbuckle and ropes as leverage to get back to his feet.

Drako rolls to the opposite turnbuckle, using it to pull himself up as well, though that wasn't necessarily done on purpose. He simply needed help getting up and the corner he chose was coincidental

Nuke looked over across the ring as he pulled himself up, and saw that Drako was now almost at his feet too.
Preparing himself with some deep breaths, Fusion sprinted forward as fast as he could, aiming for a Stinger Splash in the corner!

Drako is just really getting to his feet when he finds himself squashed against the turnbuckle ourtesy of a stinger splash, not an unfamiliar maneuver as he uses it himself. The only thing keeping him standing is the fact that he's holding the ropes at this point

Nuke stepped back a few paces, twisting his neck in place, as he geared up to go again..
And went for a second Stinger Splash!

Drako is still standing, and a second splash rocks him again in the corner, leaving him on wobbly legs but still standing and leaning against the buckle

Nuke is feeling almost reinvigorated by this run of luck he's had in this match, and he seems to just have full control here.
He turns to the crowd and beats his chest, getting a roar of approval.
Then turns and runs for the third and final Stinger Splash!
