The first fall of this match has been scored in Christian's favor! Edge rolled away from Christian after the third count, realizing it was too late to kick out.

Christian rolls off of Edge after scoring the first fall, as he rolled towards a corner and got to a knee, and the fans applauded loudly as Christian has a 1-0 lead!

The cover did give Edge enough to recover, though, as he used the ropes to pull himself up and get back into this match.

Christian would get to his feet before Edge does, and Christian looks to stay on the attack going to Edge getting up and going for a couple punches to his head after he got up near the ropes.

Battered by a few of Christian's punches, thanks to the rope-a-dope, Edge would lean against the ropes, using them to absorb the shock of his opponent's blows. Edge would aim some punches of his own to Christian's face!

Christian was struck with a couple swings from Edge but Christian tries to overwhelm the weakened Edge with a kick to his midsection!

Doubling over after being kicked in the midsection was inevitable—Edge was at Christian's mercy as the air had been kicked out of him.

Christian would grab Edge and attempt to Irish whip him to the opposite ropes!

The Irish whip on Christian's behalf would send Edge to the opposite set of ropes, rebounding and running back to his opponent.

Christian would go down after the forearm smash connected. He sits up and slowly starts getting back up

Wanting to keep him down for a bit, Edge would approach his opponent, attempted to grab his head and go for a quick DDT into the mat!
