vanna_lb I've seen numerous plays. One of my first plays was a school play for hairspray. It was very funny, especially because it was performed by students I was familiar with. Whether it's a hilarious comedy like "Hairspray" or a heartfelt drama, the magic of live theater is made even more special when performed by a community you know. I haven't seen any plays, but I wish to experience the magic of live theater at some point! Word Count:58

BellaMatthew One film adaptation of a play that I have seen is Hamlet. I enjoyed reading Hamlet more than watching it because I like to be able to imagine the characters and the book/script always has more detail which I prefer. Word Count: 41 I've never seen or read Hamlet. I know the book is always more detailed than the film is, I just think I'm better with seeing a film rather than having to imagine the characters and the plot.

S_emtg4565 I recently saw Wonka in theaters and I thought it was a very cute musical. The writer generalizes it as a Fantasy/Musical. I usually do not enjoy musicals as I cannot sit through the songs for very long. Word count: 39 I haven't seen Wonka in theaters but I imagine it'd be nice to see. I don't enjoy musicals so maybe I'll skip watching it but if the songs are decent and somewhat catchy I'd probably watch it.

RoosterPenny2 I grew up studying ballet so, I have had the pleasure to attend a couple of them myself. As I grew as a dancer, I began to become infatuated with the production and its delicacy. Such a beautiful experience! Word Count: 39 I've never been to any ballet performance before as I don't think it's something I'd enjoy. I believe in trying new things so I would go see a performance at least once to find out if I enjoy it.

While I found it to be a compelling and intriguing play, I must admit that my overall enjoyment of it was somewhat limited. word count: 35 I don't think I've read a play before. I don't really enjoy reading so I don't think I'd be able to read a full play.

murderiskoozi MutantXFactor Before we begin, answer each of the following questions in a separate post:
• Have you ever attended a professional drama performance? Which type of drama was it (play, opera, musical, dance)? • What is the last play you read? Did you enjoy it? • Have you ever seen a musical drama? What type of musical was it? Do you enjoy musicals? • What is your experience with opera and ballet? • Have you watched a film / TV adaptation of a play? Which format did you enjoy most, and why? I've attended broadway plays before, Lion King, Cinderella, etc. They were amazing each time. I love musical dramas, I love a lot of musicals like In The Heights or Hamilton. I don't have any experience with opera or ballet. I watched the In the Heights movie and it's depicted so accurately and I love it so much. I've never seen a broadway play or musical and I really want to because others I know have been say that it's amazing. I'm just afraid I won't enjoy it because plays and musicals aren't something I think I'd enjoy.

TSlizz19 MutantXFactor Before we begin, answer each of the following questions in a separate post: Question 5 • Have you watched a film / TV adaptation of a play? Which format did you enjoy most, and why? Answer 5 No, I have not watched a film / TV adaptation of a play. The genre of adapted plays has not piqued my interest, as films and television movies are already not my first choices of entertainment. Word Count: 35 Words I haven't watched one either. TV isn't my first choice for entertainment, so I rarely use it and rarely watch anything let alone plays.

Hdre_C What is your experience with opera and ballet? My experience with opera and ballet is little to none. I do not keep up with opera performances or ballets. I have seen modern a few ballet competitions, but other than that, I'm not aware of them. (WORD COUNT: 37) I have absolutely zero experience with both operas and ballets. I honestly don't think I'd find them interesting. I do think people should try new things, so I'd see them once to see if I enjoy it.

rileyyperronee I have not watched a musical drama, I have seen Broadway shows and I have always enjoyed the live action versions of certain movies. Not a huge fan of certain musical dramas because they can tend to be a little boring at times but overall, can not complain. I've never seen a musical drama, or any Broadway shows. I'm not a huge fan of musicals in general as well as operas or ballets.
