Dubhghall pocketed the little pearly stone. Maybe it’d be useful later. Looking at the two new paths they considered each one. While they would get a vantage point by going up the hill one they were more inclined to go down the other path. They turned to head down the downward path.

Next round starts: December 5th, 5 EST! The Kitsune went with you, leading the way while their whisps danced around them. The climb was rather on the steep side and when you finally reached the top, you found you are standing on a plateau of sorts. The Kitsune ran forward a few steps in spite of being winded from the climb. They stared out across the swamp below for several moments before deflating. "I'd have hoped we could see the witch's home from here, but I guess not." They looked around a few moments more and spotted what seemed like a thin path of skeletal trees back down. "Let's hurry anyway. We must be close by this point."The path down crowds you from the sides, forcing you to walk in single file. Suddenly you hear an exclamation from the back, followed by others. Someone's tripped, and is tumbling down the hill, taking out others on the way! Roll 1d10 to see if you can find a break in the trees to jump out of the way! You reach what looks at first to be another meadow, but something's different. The ground here seems mossy and soft under your feet, squishy almost. You'll have to tread lightly here. Who knows what will happen if you don't? Roll 1d10 to find firm footing.

~ Papa walks up to the edge next the Kitsune like him he hoped they would be able to see the witches cottage. He lets out a breath nothing maybe she could hid it from slight. walking onto the path he looks around then blinks as he hears someone trip. great what a way to go. taken out by someone else ~He looks around for away to jump through the trees and out of the way.~.

The climb was even steeper than it had looked and Phaedra struggled mightily. All of her mental focus was directed at her footing and attempting to be stoic. She hated to show weakness and so kept as quiet as possible for this hike, following the kitsune on autopilot. That is until some idiot messed up their footing and chaos broke out. Phaedra's instincts took over as she tried desperately to get out of the way.

Uh oh. This meadow felt eerily familiar until Stardust discovered that she seemed to be sinking into the soft, mossy ground What was happening?! Although this definitely wasn't the craziest thing she'd seen all day, she was still flabbergasted. Mildly panicking, the pranced about looking for a firm foothold.

Glancing about the new meadow Solenglyphouse noticed a few others about with her. Her claws delicately dug into the loamy soil turning up a bit to look at. It was kind of odd. Still fitting for a witch to live in right? A meadow under a meadow in the middle of swamp. She started to look around more. Then she took a step and had to flounder for a clawhold!

Scuro notices the slightly squishy ground but tries to find firm footing. He hopes he will be able to make it through the meadow without being swallowed by it.

The meadow was at first deceivingly peaceful. Luna had been at first glad to see the greenery but after her first step, she grew alarmed. The groud was slippery making the peaceful environment dangerous.

When Red got to the top of the steep hill, he was just as disappointed as the Kitsune when he didn't see anything either. Whatever, just have to press on. The pegasus begins to climb up the path the Kitsune went up, still being ever vigilant in hopes of spotting something useful. Hearing the commotion up ahead, he glances forward only to see the 'avalanche' of ponies stumbling his way. He barely had time to react, he just sucked in a breath and leapt out of the way.

Oh dear... Echo Moon wasn't having any luck, it seems. The ground beneath his paws was feeling rather spongy, and he was starting to question his choice. Maybe he should have gone the other way..?

Dubhghall looked about the new area thinking that it was another meadow. Their first step however proved that looks were deceiving. The ground was squishy and they fluttered their wings ready to take off if needed.

Next round starts: December 7th, 5 EST! Slipping and skidding, some unfortunate ponies tumble down, almost taking out the Kitsune along the way. Below you, there is the sound of splashing as one by one they hit water and with shrieks are pulled under. As the rest of you reach the bottom, you find of course that they've already vanished, hopefully to reappear at the entrance to the swamp. In front of you is a small bubbling bog. As you watch a large bubble forms on the surface and pops. Looking around it seems you have two options: Go into the water to cross to the other side
Take a thin path skirting the edge[X]Natty-Chan[X] Your pearly stone flashes and you find yourself safe before it crumbles to dust. You reach the other side of the squishy meadow safely. Before you is a large pond of crystal clear water. Standing across from the pond in shadow stands a pony. A unicorn from the look of them. "Oh thank goodness!" They exclaim. "I've been lost in here for so long! Can I come with you?"What will you say?: Yes?

~ Papa looks at the Kitsune making sure that the Kitsune is still all right. He then looks at the bog and the small path, well I think I had enough of small paths for now, I sure hope the Kitusune is okay because if we lose him what chance do we stand. Papa looks at the Bog he looks at the Bog~ " May I have permission for safe passage to cross this Bog please." ~ He steps into the Bog, hoping that the Bog doesn't do anything to him~

Echo Moon gulped, trying to remember what the rules were. They didn't enter our group yet, so... oh wait. They're asking us a question... and they showed up out of the swamp waters... Not making eye contact, Echo Moon answered the apparition and then braced himself for the worst. "No."
