Froststrike hissed as the fox's claws struck his pelt even with all his bouncing around. Starclan she was strong! Lashing out with his claws, his fellow clanmates kept his spirits high but his worry for Silverstreak caused him to take a pretty hard blow. Glancing around, the tom cat hoped his she-cat was far away, not getting hurt. He didn't care if he got banged up but he'd never forgive himself is Silverstreak got injured or worse. So lashing out he bounced around the cat more, trying to use his speed to his advantage.

Wildflower nodded as Shadowstar told the rest of Riverclan to return home. She watched Flamedapple and Stonebelly take the kitten to asses its health but Wildflower purposefully stayed behind just to make sure no Lightningclan cat dared to come back and step over the border before taking Russetstorm and Wildstripe to re-scent and check the rest of their territory. When she had decided all seemed calm she turned back to the other two. "Well now that that is settled, lets re mark our borders an----" her words were cut short as a Lightningclan tom came back, pausing at the border and looking frazzled. Growling, she lashed her tail, storming back up to the border, calling Russetstorm and Wildstripe to her side. "Shadowstar and the rest of Riverclan have already returned. We had this settled already, what's the problem now?" she said rather impatiently. Russetstorm bared his fangs but the fear radiating off the other cat was enough to cause him to step forward a bit. "Wait. Something's amiss." he asked, eyeing the tom cat carefully. "Has something happened?" he blinked, glancing at his clan mates before back to the orange tom cat.

Cardinalpaw didn't hesitate to follow her mother at the signal. Staying glued to her brother, she followed everyone back to the camp. In her mouth were the few unchewed up fronds of the sweet smelling fern. She had her little head so high as she pulled the plant beside her.
When they got back to the healer's den, the little red kit was practically standing on her claws to get Stonebelly to see what she brought. It helped her mom, it could help the kit! Her ears ever perked, she hung on to his every word. Honey for sore throat, got it!
Then Lostpaw started speaking and the kit became distracted. Turning around she dropped her prize. Ooo, a practice battle! In her head she concidered how that wasn't fair to Lostpaw, her brother and she are scary! Smiling she purred and nudged her brother. Looking at him she made a play bow and batted at the air, no claws out, then she turned an nodded her head to Lostpaw.
Still purring, she got into 'battle mode' and pounced forward one hop, no claws after that she made the face of a fierce 'rawr' and batted at the other kit.

Honeyfur had returned to camp, warning everyone about a fox. Some warriors quickly jumped into action defending the nursery and kittens but Bouldertuft shook his head and rallied with the available warriors now sprinting from camp as back up. It didn't take long to find the scene of the battle as the scent of fox, cat and blood lingered heavily in the air. Yowling, the fluffy tom cat threw himself into the fray, claws and teeth bared. Maybe he'd have another cool scar to show off to Stormsong later, who knew. Right now all that mattered was protecting his clan mates.
Oh and Cindergaze. Man she was beautiful even in battle!

“A…fox… is attacking… Lightningclan…” Autumnriver said between huffs. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself so he could speak clearer. “A she-fox, heavy with milk. She’s looking for a kit. Probably the same kit that your clan just took in. I returned to warn you.” Autumnriver looked at the three cats in front of him, then turned back to the direction he had come. “I have to return. My clanmates are fighting it. Please deliver the message. Brightstar said we didn’t need any reinforcements, but the fox IS looking for a KIT. The fox is orange and white, just like the kit described. They’re might be more foxes around. If there’s a female, then there might be a male as well. Stay safe. I have to go now.” Autumnriver then left the three where they stood. He delivered his message and now he needed to return to his other clan members. As soon as he returned, nearly every cat was attacking the she-fox. He looked at everyone fighting the fox. He decided to run up to her, head on. He would join his clan at fighting the she-fox, aiming for whatever he could get his claws into. Autumnriver: 36

Hollyberry and Hawkstorm rallied with the rest of the warriors, racing as fast as their paws wold take them. Weaving in and out of obstacles, the two cats seemed almost like a solid unit, each focused on aiding their clan mates, no questions asked. Hollyberry dashed in from the side, striking out at the fox's flank while Hawkstorm darted around the rear, aiming to pounce on its back or at least score her claws down its spine.

Standing right behind Russetstrom, little Owlpaw kept mimicing every move the tom made. This included trying to step in his steps. Then the badclan cat appeared again.
This was his time to shine!
Leaping beside his Mentor, Owlpaw bared his own little teeths and hissed at the cat as well. Puffed up in a mighty warrior stance, he was ready to fight. Only to have Russetstorm say to wait.
Settling himself down immediately, he sat so politely and listened to what his mentor said then what the other cat said. A fox?! Cool! That battle would be epic! He'd show that fox why you don't mess with Riverclan. His mentor could take down any old fox by himself. Naturally Owlpaw would help as well.
Hah, Rabbitpaw would see him as brave after this one!

Foxfur kept himself from sighing and he just nodded as he walked and took the lashing that was coming... even if it was only a tonguelashing. He nodded and then she let him have it.
"I cant go hunt?!" What a mousebrained thing! It was leafbare... how could she stable a hunter like himself. He fluffed but didnt object any further. The last part he dindt object to... spending time with flamedapple wasnt a punishment on any level.

Brightstar hissed in rage. What kind of mice had this fox been eating... She looked around the cats fighting. She fluffed up and ran forward to attack again!

Shadowstar gave Foxfur a flat stare for several moments. Bumblepaw was actually deaf and could listen better then this cat. Forestclan preserve her! Sighing through her teeth she tried to muster patience, "You didn't listen to anything I said, just picked out words and decided the rest." Mentally she added another moon to his punishment. "You can hunt, with another Warrior. Otherwise I want you in camp caring for the kit and practicing listening and restraint." Forestclan knew she had restraint up to her ears but this cat was going to have to practice it before she could trust him with the judgement needed to be a Warrior. What would he have done if one of their clan got hurt or killed over that scuffle?! "You'll need to time at camp to think." About what he did, about the harm he could have caused and the amount of disappointment he caused his Leader. She needed Warriors she could trust with sound judgement.

Petalnose hesitated, unable to attack the fox as he heard her speak. His gaze turned to Brightstar, but he didn't move away, too caught up in his worry to think 'hey, get OUT of the angry mothers way before looking to your leader'. His heart got in the war of his claws.. and he felt too much sympathy for the poor fox.

Ravensnatch could tell all his clan mates were trying their hardest but it seemed like even some of the stronger battle cats were beginning to lose steam. The fox hit hard and with a vengeance even against so many cats. Growling, Ravensnatch kept going, claw for claw and tooth for tooth, he wasn't going to back down until this fox ran screaming with her tail between her legs. "As if we'd hand over a kitten back to a mangy mutt like you!"

Thornslash felt like his energy was fading quick. He had couple good scratches that would no doubt scar up later and probably after this next swipe he'd need to make a b-line outta there and find Honeyfur. However he wasn't out yet and he wasn't going to give up until that fox knocked him flat to the ground. He wanted to stay strong. For his clan...and for Brightstar.
