A waste she'd chide herself over once she properly reprimanded Zahara for using such causal flippancy in THIS, of all situations! "Of course?! Similar philosophies?? Ohh honey dearest..." Lahlil's voice steadied from it's melting fury into cool ice with her twisted use of their term of endearment. "Why would I need to be jealous hm? And don't you feed me that glib remark about your eyes when we both know you don't need them to see." Bitterness, envy, that sour drop in her stomach? Oh even if she spitefully refused to admit it out loud, Lahlil was more than just jealous. She had become full-on possessive of what she claimed.as her own. Did this Nava have to work as she did? To be able to touch him? To know those secrets of his life that he refused to share? ...What if she had?
Mental images swirled in her mind, building the imaginary scenario's the fueled her own hurt. He was always gone for long periods of time, wasn't he? What if Nava wasn't the only one! Ohhh if she had to tie him up and- actually she did have rope in her closet, and the world (for the most part) thought him to be dead, no? It was one of the few times he actually felt fear that wasn't that put him in mortal peril. But he was so intoxicated by it, he was ever addicted to her even after he was aware of the creature's influence over him. Twice today he had to block out his own senses as he felt the sudden shift and it overwhelmed him when she blushed. He seen her shifts a lot but nothing so sudden, so raw and dramatic. It was what he liked about her, unpredictable controlled chaos. Easing up when the shadows left, he smiled a little seeing her red and wondered if it meant yes.
Then a shift and BOOM came the squealing excited lass as he got bodied and crushed by a hug so sudden he stumbled backward into the wall. The sentient little fruit chirped in annoyance but Zahara didn't care as he embraced her all the same, ignoring the prickly sensation he still had. "I had meant to say earlier, but we were interrupted." He said in a low voice, still smiling as he held her close and didn't want to let go. "I am yours and only yours, my love." Zahara took the opportunity to spin each other around so she was lightly pinned against the wall by him. "Just say the word and I'll always be at your side, brand your mark or secure a collar if you so have to." He lightly joked but felt his face warm just from saying it.
It would be a fat lie if he admitted he wasn't enjoying this attention, it also didn't diminish that sudden fear he had from earlier. Then the call for help for Obi Wan Kage crackled alive as he could only glare at the image feed as he willed the essence of Nagakaborous through him. He wanted to pull this interrupter's soul through the ether and thrash them a good long bearing of the truth. The foreign power within him would be able to be felt by Lahlil if for a moment, he tensed briefly and cursed aloud that he hated her job as he placed a hand on the side of Lahlil's cheek.
"Shh." He slowly eased her from the bite fest on him and spoke softly for a moment. "Yes, I just want to be with you." He held her chin and looked at her eyes for a moment, leaning in he kissed her on the lips and embraced her even more. He would pull back and caress her cheek once more, fingers lightly touching and running along the skin. "You don't even have to ask, but.." Zahara trailed off as he shot an eye at where the image was then looked back at her.
"You can always send a coalition of Shinobi instead. Maybe, get ol' grumpy Masahiro to send that attack dog of his: Wulfram." Zahara chirped the suggestion with a smile, wanting to be selfish for a change and just be alone with the kage. He kissed her forehead then and chuckled. "I hate your job."

The Emperor had barely managed to make it through the gates of Gurinbare-to when his FuuinComm lit with a call from the Hokage. As he reached down to grab the device, it flickered to life with a floating image of the woman and her immediate surroundings above it, and would in turn showcase himself and the Empress, draped in cloaks, above hers.
A call from an ally in Zaishin. Masahiro had yet to establish strong communication lines with the foreign powers of Zaishin and the Samurai had been an impervious force with a strong will, one he well understood, but with a nationalistic zeal and isolationist tendencies far beyond those of Arashigakure. He hemmed for a moment at the thought of sending forces from their nations to their aid, with little information on what exactly had transpired to warrant an emergency scramble.
"Send them first as an expeditionary force. Do not engage without an appropriate measure of the situation, we do not, we cannot afford an international incident with the samurai of Zaishin. If there is a third party aggressor and Zaishin is under direct assault track them down and execute with extreme prejudice." Masahiro chimed.
He turned his face to the gates and motioned for a guardsman to come to him.
"Tell Lin-Yu that a situation has developed at the borders of Zaishin, that he is to coordinate with Konoha. When the Kongoshu arrives, Wulfram and Lillian are to outfit and sync with the Hokage and her forces. Officially, orders from Gurinbare are not to attack, unless Zaishin or our forces come under direct assault." He ordered.
He quickly turned back to the Fuuincomm and the Hokage.
"I am sending you two of my Elites. A master of warfare and a master of fuuinjutsu. The pair of them combined are a fierce unit. They are still returning from an operational investigation into the Blackened Sun, so they may fall behind your deployment. Keep the Fuuincomm on you as a summoning beacon and they can appear at your side after the Kongoshu returns from its voyage." The Emperor gave in response.
Sumika, or more accurately her panda Cobalt with the woman herself on his back, sauntered into the area outside of Lahlil's office without much of a fuss. For the moment she scribbled away furious at an extremely simplistic looking drawing depicting the office in a massive hole. Despite it's obvious lack of quality she remained utterly engrossed in the creation of the piece, as if for some reason this medium that she'd obviously never attempted to engage with before was suddenly the sole focus of her being. He really ******** hated her job more than anything in that moment, but he could lose himself in her grasp for hours and in the moment for longer. The tension and shift of the moods and rough nature of just how she expressed herself. There was nothing else that mattered in that time, but he understood that she was a leader of a village and he was being the tempting distraction she could not afford. Zahara held her close still even as Lahlil pulled herself slowly away before he reluctantly did was well, disappointed but he only smiled in the small defeat. But he watched her intently at exactly what Lahlil was up to when a small contraption came alive, one of the devices Arashi and Gurinbare were known for and something he still didn't have an idea of. So, this is your connection to grumpy white. he thought to himself as he observed the entire conversation as she relayed information for their attack dogs much like he suggested. Then, the communication he was more familiar with as his disciple, Shuusui, was ordered to the gates.
Unaware she kept the comms open, he laughed a little. "Hairy peacock?" as her finger came under his chin and he stood up into the kiss, one hand running through her hair as he was eager for more time with her as this kiss was more intimate than before, intoxicating even. And then, the two stopped and he looked at her eyes now like daggers and his coy grin came about. "I promised to take care of a few things here, I still think it's best I remain hidden away from the world just a little while longer my love." He was hurt to say how it was as he held a hand on her cheek, wistful of the whole situation. "Shuusui is a talented man, probably more of an asset than I right now." he believed in that truth, he couldn't have asked for a more suitable heir to the Kin.
"As for your order, I'll await for you there then. Promise." Zahara tapped Lahlil's desk then as he pondered exactly what else he could say to aid in this peculiar situation. "Your spook, the bunraku here could be an asset as well as that foul mouthed one, Lahlil." The sage glanced at her with a gleam like that of a dagger's point, the smile again. "Can't say that your shadow cannot be a boon.' Zahara had an ulterior motive for wanting the Bunraku spook to head off, he needed to find Nava without her eyes settling upon such a meeting and that witch of the Nagakana was highly unpredictable right now. Two birds with one stone.
"Hmm... If you need help still, you have my scroll still my love." Zahara said with a sigh. "Please. Be safe, I wouldn't bare losing you."
Willingly a prisoner to her own wants and desires, Lahlil could feel herself slipping into an uncharacteristic dropping of her guard, as well as any senses that could have picked up on the minute change in Zahara that whatever the hell his gods were, brought on. This was a time to live in the now, a time that maybe... when she didn't need to be so watchful, to make sure that she was the one on top. She could just enjoy it the same way other poeple held their precious times, where Lahlil could be how she'd like. It was a different kind of freedom, one that didn't need fighting for but that came into existence naturally.
"Mmm..." The sudden press against her forehead spooked her enough to open her eyes, but quickly lulled her back into a blushful rest on Zahara's chest. Even she had to admit that the selfishness was tempting. But because it was tempting waa the exact reason why she couldn't fall prey to it. With a sigh prolonged sigh, Lahlil's fingers slowly pried themselves free of the hold she hadn't noticed has tightened into a grip. "I can't. I want to, but I need to make sure I'm there. I just don't trust very many others to handle the village's relationship with the Samurai." A simple reality but quite inescapable. This is what watching over her people meant.
Crawling over to where she had thrown her desk, Lahlil grabbed the rectangular communication device that she had received from Masahiro. The little contraption had always been a source of interest to her, a reminder that she still had much to learn in the power of seals and technology. Lahlil was glad that she didn't destroy it in her fury. The glass screen lighting up at her touch, Lahlil made use of her direct connection to the our glorious emperor for something OTHER than ridiculous pranks. Probably for the first time since the moment she received it.

Lahlil let a few seconds pass for her brilliance to truly sinking before she continued in a much more serious tone. "But for real. I've received a personal distress call from our Samuari allies. I'm planning on sending a strike-force that included myself and was wondering if you had any attack dogs to spare."
To be honest, even the kage wasn't sure just how direct her 'direct line' was to her leash holder and as such didn't want have the time to waste on waiting. Using her own, less complex, version of the scroll communication. Lahlil moved to gather her forces.

Keeping her remote comm open, Lahlil curled a little finger underneath Zahara's chin, a finger that command him forward into the embrace of her lips. Her tongue invading his mouth in order to tease it out of its hiding place and into her own, where she could spoil and tease it, gently sucking on it. When next they broke away, her eyes were sharp and demanding. "You're gonna regret not coming~ But I'll respect if you don't. Come by my place later, that's an order."

The woman's eyes glanced over the top of her now finished creation, looking for signs of, well, anyone paying attention to her at all. One side. Then the other. A quick check behind to make sure no one was sneaking up on her. "Huh." Sumika mumbled to herself, slightly puzzled. No one in sight, at least none that were particularly concerned with her presence. She couldn't have planned better. Off Cobalt she slipped, setting the crude drawing on the ground and holding a handseal. A moment later the earth on which the office itself sat began to sink, mimicking the image of the entire office being buried in a big hole. "I told you I'd ******** up your office for that forest crap in the exam!" She shouted with glee before wandering back over to Cobalt and shoving a bamboo shoot his way. "Here's a shoot, go chill somewhere bud. Momma's got work to do." The panda lazily chomped on the shoot and trundled off to wherever it was he disappeared to in times like these, entirely unperturbed by the exceptional upheaval currently occurring. Sumika was sure some variety of retribution would be meted out for this, hence sending the panda away, but for her part she seemed to welcome it.

tab tab Lahlil’s response could hardly be considered the romanized response that Zahara was likely looking for, but the sudden shifting of her office from under her feet just seemed to have this way of throwing the Hokage off her guard. Her body reacted instinctively, the area around them was clearly sinking into the ground, that she could handle. But whatever madman had decided to attack the Hokage in her own village, in broad daylight no less? Well, that meant they likely must have collected the numbers needed to launch a full-scale assault and were already taking key control points. Today had not been the day for anything with all the constant intrusions and annoyances. The ground was giving way but the prickle of his blade was more annoying than anything. Lahlil was already moving to action but Zahara was holding still as he meditated briefly, honing his senses with eyes closed as the world came into view in his mind's eye. He could perceive the entire area in an instant as he opened his eyes to a cyan coloration, a veil of blue chakra coursing over his body as he simply clapped his hands together and done the biggest transgression he could have ever done. The earthen chakra he could see all around the building as it gave way and he saw Lahlil's own and her summons.
Zahara hated the power he had with his eyes, a mockery of his faith but it was for a cause of loyalty to her. ... By holy, reverse the world back to its intended state. The damage of the office, surrounding area and all uses of jutsu and chakra were then slowly turned back like a clock's hand to high noon. Sumika and Lahlil and her summons would see the office reversed back to a state to which it had been before and then some as Zahara's chakra repaired everything all around him as he levitated within the Kage's office, even reversing the damage done during the short tantrum. Regardless of what had happened, it was now undone and restored, living persons left untouched.
Zahara settled back on the floor of the office with his eyes reverting to a natural ivory color, sneering at the prospect of using the power that contradicting his very faith. One of the perks of the Kage's undeat had meant that she could see what other souls tried to hide from the world. unfortunately that didn't always extend to why they hid them in the first place. Lahlil could see the half truth plain as day, but the frustration that was at least partly it's cause? Might as well have been a rick wall. "Lemme get this straight, you ATTACKED my office for something that I did to everyone as part of the EXAMS? You know, the one you willingly signed up for!? Cause I could have given you another assignment, like serving under cold and slippery up there, to see if you were eligible for promotion.” Lahlil finished her sentence on the edge of what felt like laughter. The situation had changed a bit since the earth decided to go plop and rebuild itself along with the numerous interruptions like a constant train wreck. Zahara was watching the situation with his ocular Byakugan while he was attending to something else as he sat in her office with his hands together. You're getting distracted, lass. He thought as he summoned Shiro, the white mamba from the scroll he carried on his back. The large mamba slithered along the floor as she looked at her sage with an inquisitive gaze, it was rare he actually summoned her directly.
"Shiro." He began as he addressed the Mamba. As she looked at him with those unblinking eyes, silent as usual. "Make sure our forces are mobilized as per the Kage's orders. Have a messenger get word to the spook and the cocky one she was with earlier, Sadayo and Coda." the order was simple and he gave a quick nod as focused his byakugan on the gates of the village as he continued the order. "Be sure they know that they hear of this, and I quote, 'Do not engage without an appropriate measure of the situation, we do not, we cannot afford an international incident with the samurai of Zaishin. If there is a third party aggressor and Zaishin is under direct assault track them down and execute with extreme prejudice.'"
Zahara made Shiro issue out the orders to a few of the kage's lackeys in the administration, he was inexperienced with the lady's communication network and preferred to instead relay information through Shiro to those who can use it. As he sat there, in the next few minutes word would reach the Juei captain and they would be contacted by one of the messengers or perhaps a direct message to whatever hell the leaf shinobi used these days. They would know the location and cooridinates of where to go and the situation at hand, represent themselves as a protective force and do not engage unless there was a third party. Protection of the Samurai was paramount and notes of Sumire's general appearance was noted to Sadayo's message.

"Pretty sure that's it, yeah." Sumika responded casually to the first bit as she finally dragged herself off the ground (? and very narrowly avoided a slap, or rather got away with her thick, moppy mane of blonde hair taking the brunt of it). For her part, she seemed rather unfazed by all of this. "I signed up for an exam, not being collared like a ******** animal and treated like a source of entertainment for a bunch of frill wearing losers. Plus, sometimes it's just fun to mess things up." Sumika didn't feel like she needed to point out that if she actually wanted to destroy the office instead of causing a bit of mischief she could have just summoned a massive railgun and blasted a house size hole through it. The woman smiled at Lahlil's poking and prodding though. None of this was fun if someone else didn't join in.
"Lady, you think my sister's the only 'dead' kage I have for reference? Oh, and you should look at the note about the time I removed all the screws from the chairs in her office, by the way. It's a good one." The puppeteer fired back as she fished around under her cloak and produced a pitted, faded headband with a slightly outdated leaf symbol on it. "Way back before the UHV knocked off all those other villages, this belonged to one of your predecessors. Now you, I don't know you from a stranger on the street. But I don't really care who's in charge." The diminutive shinobi took a moment to tuck away the keepsake again before continuing with some very pronounced air quotes "This village has had do nothings and great people, and none of it made much of a difference. I mean I do have to commend you I suppose. Nothing's exploded because of anyone but me for a good while now. I kinda liked the explosions." Sumika said, gesturing towards the kage's office that was now repaired and spotless thanks to some wretched jutsu of some sort. The woman casually dumped the rest of the bag of chips into her mouth before continuing.
"Whut elfe am I suppozed tuh do round here? She inquired, choking down the mouthful of crunchy bits in the process and stuffing the bag back somewhere under her cloak. "Wandering around is boring when y'all don't care to chase me and there's no one to wander with. This village is not my home, and like Masato's the only one I know who's hanging around here on any sort of semi-regular basis. You know how depressing it is that the only person around that I've had a conversation with before is that eye pervert?" And so came the stream of consciousness, quite far off topic and threatening to derail any reasonable line of logic. Perhaps Lahlil would now start to understand that what she was dealing with was not simply a question of a force that required quelling, but a loaded canon constantly teetering on a knife's edge. Sumika was exactly that. A person so wholly uncontrollable that even Sanae had not been able to elevate her beyond the lowest ranks of responsibility despite their fondness for one another. Someone outwardly unconcerned with restraint, and with motivations incongruous enough to make abstractionist flush with envy.
If anything years of training had only made Sumika more prone to outbursts as she gained more power but no more leeway to apply it to anything that would ever require it. Had she gained any of it during UHV's nonsense she might have been tossed out onto a battlefield to use it there. Instead the exams were the closest she'd ever gotten to stretching her legs, and not only was she constricted even there, but she wasn't even pushed remotely close to her limits. No doubt Lahlil had a handful of reports about Sumika's excessive application of jutsu in menial tasks over the past few years. Like destroying a bunch of street lights to create iron sand and catch a thief or forgetting to demagnetize doors and whatnot before she left guard duty. She didn't posses a complete lack of restraint, there was a pattern that suggested its existence, but it rarely applied any further than the point at which someone who didn't deserve it might get hurt. Hence simply putting the office into a hole and not putting a hole in the office. All of this was wrapped in a person who had a clear desire to be around people but no people to be around and a little tick in the back of her head demanding that, every so often, she find out just how far she could get outside the box before someone came to force her back into it.

The kage had developed a habit of leaving her face as unreadable as possible, but here she found she ran into one of the few exceptions. Letting her head fall to the side in response to blasé manner in which Sumika seemed to tackle the world around her. If she was honest, the whole thing was enough to pull a grin across her face. Not having anyone to talk to? Well, all she did was talk. Sure, it always had to be about work stuff, but that had to count for something right? Stretching her legs was something else entirely though, and one that the Hokage herself could relate to. It had been ages since she had the chance to get out of that cage they called an office, and while maybe she'd never free in her lifetime; she could at least free someone.
Ripping Gado out of whatever space he had previously been, Lahlil summoned the tiger man into her grip. "Gado, what are my appointments today? Actually, no. I don't care. If you would, please let Masahiro know that I will be delayed in traveling to the wall indefinitely." With a wave of her hand, the kage then dismissed the secretary before his moan of disapproval could even reach the first vowel. "You know you bring up a good point. I've seen his eyes but lemme tell you now. It is NOTHING compared to those gross veiny byakugan. I've considered fining every Hyuuga I see for indecent exposure. But anyways~ My schedule just became clear. How about I take you someplace where I can be a bad influence on you? Really stretch those legs out, and no. Before you get excited, not like that. I'm a married woman now."

____✧ Parlor Tricks | Lahlil has become so mastered at the use of fuuninjutsu that whenever she casts a use of flying thunder god or the fuunin specific shuushin, she may leave behind or have placed at her transported location, a fuunin seal from another ability placed automatically. This essentially changes the casting location for the paired ability while still consuming an activation and chakra. To be clear this PA makes it so that as long as she has the activation and resources to do so, Lahlil can simultaneously cast another fuunin with flying thunder god or the fuunin shuushin.
____✧ Shared Information | All information, sensory or otherwise, gathered by anyone who is a part of the telepathic network is shared with the group, not just the Yamanaka. This does require the Sensing Transmission technique from below. Additionally, the user is granted a passive field around themselves that offers that minor sensory capabilities ( limited to sensing the origin point of incoming jutsu ) but can ultimately be upgraded if of the Infinite Perception discipline. This field is limited to five feet per body rank.

In addition, all sealing techniques are considered overwhelming when in collision with other techniques of the same rank. This benefit only applies to techniques S-ranked and below. Finally, if you are able to summon any contract summon regardless of a bloodline connection of a signed user of a summoning contract you are able to summon beings at one rank lower than normally required and 50 chakra and stamina is granted to them per rank of the summoned creature starting at 50 for D-Rank and ending with 250 for the boss summon, or 300 if a mythical summon is contracted. The user's summoned creatures are able to use any ninjutsu the user has access to that they share an element for as well as any genjutsu, taijutsu, and bukijutsu. Your summoned creature's unique techniques are considered overwhelming at S-rank and below in collisions.

Opponents are able to sense the user's terrifying fighting spirit five feet from the user per body rank of the user through chakra sense. Those within range can have this radiating fearful aura become the trigger for genjutsu, allowing genjutsu to be cast by acknowledging the user. In addition, should an opponent be targeted by a melee technique that is greater in rank than the target's body rank that target has tier two paralysis applied to their legs, requiring it to be broken by Kai equal to the user's body rank, costing the target no activation for that specific instance of kai.
_✧ Infinite Perception | Your specialty is more in sensory than in sealing or summoning. You are able to discover things such as demon chakra, or the type of technique that is about to be active (Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, etc.), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank from any active sensory technique. This discipline allows the user to be able to sense their enemy’s ninjutsu attacks and their composition, which grants a -2 rank reduction to dodging with the dodge mechanic X-ranked skill so long as it was used within the range of the user’s sensory abilities. You can release yourself from genjutsu at one rank lower in kai chakra release but with no benefit in pain release. In addition, the user's sensory abilities are extended fifty feet per rank of the technique. As a master tracker, you can advance in the ninja hunter and special ops careers for half as many Oinin Butai and ANBU missions completed. Upon reaching Initiate in Oinin Butai, you gain the Eagle Eye perk innately so you can choose one other Oinin perk as well. When you use a sensory technique with jamming you can double the jamming effect, this ability applies to one technique per three posts.
_✧ Scholar – Scholar | You may pick 2 of its disciplines. Additionally, fuuinjutsu and sensory techniques used by this specialization are reduced in chakra cost by five per rank with a minimum of five chakra.

_✧ Blood Magic | The user's ninjutsu are able to be converted into blood that assumes the same size and shape as the ninjutsu used to create it. If the ninjutsu had an effect such as burning, burns, paralysis, etc, that effect is still in effect as the blood acts in a similar fashion to the original technique. After being cast, this blood remains active upon the battlefield. In addition, the sight of blood in such masses causes tiered mental stress based on technique rank for three posts unless kai is used. Additionally, the user's blood pool is increased by 10 per body rank, allowing them to utilize their stored blood more efficiently.
_✧ Corrupted Life-force | The user's blood has been tainted by the clan's cursed lineage. Their blood has a diseased nature, applying tiered disease upon entering the target's system depending on the user's body rank. A ranked amount of chakra can be applied to the user's blood to make it acidic and cause an equal amount of damage depending on the amount of chakra applied.
_✧ Crimson Swordsman | The clansman is adept at using bladed weapons and excels at slashing foes asunder. Injuries sustained by bladed weapons of the user bleed for an additional post per body rank of the user and reduce an additional five stamina per body rank of the user. Blood produced in this manner when viewed causes tier-one mental stress for three posts unless a D-Rank kai is used.
_✧ Seal Jamming | Seals that are cast by Lahlil may have her scholar's jamming effect placed on them. This only applies the 'hidden from sensory effect' on them, however, and DOES NOT apply the jamming in an area. Only when attempting to locate the seals with doujutsu or sensory effects. This effect is limited to the rank = status tier applied rule.
_✧ Heavy Handed | Lahlil's strikes have become particularly devastating, allowing them to mimic the ferocity usually delivered by great swords. Lahlil may now utilize two-handed bukijutsu styles using only her fists.
_✧ Martial Mastery | Devoting herself to her physical training, Lahlil has become a paragon of the physical arts. Whenever she uses a technique that allows her to mix and match abilities for a single activation, she may increase the choices available to her to include any style (Including those from other types i.e. buki style to tai style). However, this follows normal performance restrictions. Meaning unless she has some means to (Such as a PA) she cannot mix a buki effect with a tai unless she could perform it with her fists, or vice versa.
