“Interestin’ is one word for it, “ he grunted in response. “Rather have vampires, trust me.” Not really much of a competition there if you asked him; his magic was mostly defensive and honestly it’d never really done him much good at all. But she didn’t need the whole sob story of broken salt shields and generals hounding his a** at every turn. His eternal magic - well he hadn’t actually used that yet, but anyway.
He tried to take the blow better this time, and at least it wasn’t directly on his foot this time, thank ******** god. “Least you got heels. Toga an’ sandals ain’t super battle ready, lemme tell you, “ he joked, taking a swing at her. He thought it’d be a dead hit, but turned out the impact wasn’t as satisfying as he wanted, hitting her shoulder instead. Ugh. “I just ********’ upgraded to pants. Seriously.”
Ara saw the mint haired senshi loose her mask to a knight in a white and red hood with a chain. She didn't like seeing one of her own team members, and especially one who had been so nice to her lose. She would beat that knight for the mint haired senshi then.
She tried to hold onto the kitty with one hand as she pointed her free hand at the knight. "Hey Mister knight" She called out to get his attention before she turned her hand palm up towards him.
"Ara Luminescent Starshine" She called out her basic magic as a mote of light formed in her palm before firing at the knight.

Ara holds her hand up and a mote of light forms in her palm before firing outwards towards her opponent. The blast of light can knock an opponent back and can make their skin feel like it was burned (however as a chibi it does not do any real damage) Time (burn): 20 seconds Uses: 3 Range: up to 5 ft (chibi)
The light caught his attention much too late and all he could do to react was lift his arms up crossed to brace for the attack. It was blinding and he could see lights flicker in his vision after the blast threw him back a few feet before he regained his footing.
Rubbing his eye, he looked out to the woman who ahouted and saw a senshi further off with a cat in their arms. Chibi. Still not low level at least.
"You asked for it." He moved forward, spinning the ball and chain before throwing it at the senshi. "Catch!"
At first, Morishita was impressed by Ara's cat wrangling skills, though she, too, had experience with cat wrangling, having her very own Mauvian tutor at home that had previously stolen her iPod a few months back. However, then Ara went and attacked a knight from the other team, and Morishita wasn't certain as to whether to deem the younger girl bold, crazy, or a bit of both.
Probably a bit of both.
One thing was for certain, and it was that she didn't want to get involved with it if she could help it. Even though she mostly tuned out all of Rune's lessons in what being a senshi was all about, Morishita was pretty certain that the eyepatch-wearing knight was not someone she wanted to face off against if she wanted to walk away from this fight with her pride intact... or what little was left of it. Hoping that she wouldn't get dragged into this new fight, Morishita instead focused on trying to get the mask off of the pirate cat, working to untangle it from the bandanna the Mauvian was wearing.
"Owiee!" She cried as the metal ball and chain hit her arm causing her to lose her grip on the cat. "Shoot" She said looking from the cat back to knight. "Can you handle him?" She asked her fellow chibi, it shouldn't take two to take down a kitty even a cool pirate kitty so she was pretty sure it would be ok if she went after the knight.
She grabbed hold of the chain. She ran at the knight at her fastest speed throwing his chain back as him, she doubted it would work it was his own magic weapon after all but maybe it would distract him.
Once she felt like she was close enough she stopped aiming right at the knight. "Ara Luminscent Starshine!"

He kept his grip on his weapon, shoulders raised as he saw her grip the chain and came at him. The chain he snatched as she tossed it but he didn't expect another blast of light so soon. The effect was blinding and he felt the force of it push him again.
Nearly loosing his balance, he desummoned his weapon to rub at his good eye and turned to the foggy shape dancing among the fuzzy lights sparking in his vision. It was either her or some poor b*****d ready to get punched for no reason. He could care less at this point.
Lunching forward, he threw his weight into his shoulder and punched low to account for the chibi's size. It made contact and as his vision came back, he reached for her mask.
"If you could hit harder, that light attack could really ******** someone up." He commented on the overall fight.
Somehow, the squire manage to hit her in a sore spot on her face with the duster. At first she had almost swallowed one of the feathers when it got into her mouth, but managed not to. But the blow that followed it... well, it HURT! She knew that the squire wasn't attack too hard, but it still hurt!
She could feel the bruise forming after the duster went away, but smiled. Well at least they were fighting! And she had to expect some blows anyway!
She only barely moved out of the way as the squire reached for her face. He had almost gotten her mask, but somehow she had managed to keep it on. "All right then, looks like you're serious. I like that. But what if you can't move?" She said, just before putting her hands out and yelling "Waterlily Ballet! Try to dodge these!" She said, though the squire most likely could dodge them pretty easily.
Waterlily Ballet
She summons 10 waterlilies (about a foot in length) scattered randomly and closely, surrounding the target, and move around. If the target steps on one of them, they cannot move from it (but can still move their arms and such). Lasts 35 seconds whether or not someone lands on it. If they do, they are stuck for however long the effect has left. The flowers on the pads start to glow, making them more attractive. Can now be cast twice but can effect 3 people.

I'm terrible at responding for some reason now I'm sorry!
Alph felt the slap on his face, though it was more of a back slap. He was surprised. More so because of it being a slap than being hit. Though he supposed he did deserve it. He rubbed where the hand had hit and sighed. "Well, at least that means I won't have to go easy on you then." He had been worried about targeting someone who was only a Super and not an Eternal.
He did manage to keep his mask though, which was good, but still, it meant his face made a very good target. Perhaps the next time they had such a brawl they could just wear a colored badge or sash so that people wouldn't be heading straight for the head.
"Since I didn't mean to hit you at all last time, I'll be serious this time!" Alphubel said, finally retaliating against the slap, swinging swinging the end of his staff at the other's leg. Though if he did manage to miss, he would look like a complete idiot and a failure as a knight and immediately go and take himself out of the game.
He made a noise of protest that was partially mingled with glee, because there was nothing Wendell enjoyed more than being a part of an absolutely terrific fight. Yowling loudly - and unnecessarily - he scrabbled in the senshi's arms, and then - as another set of arms came around him to squash him, he wiggled back and forth until he was finally free, darting up the girl's arm.
Really, he didn't like hurting chibis, so all of the damage was superficial, to say the least, and done with a great deal of gusto and cheeriness.
"YOU ARE NO PIRATE, YOU ARE A FAIR MAIDEN!" Wendell yelped happily, pushing off of the girl with his feet. "AND I THANK YOU FOR SUCH A GLORIOUS ADVENTURE!"
For the first time, a look of anger flashed across Emrys' face. The staff swung out, towards Gevauden, and stopped dead mere inches from his throat, not touching him, something in Emrys' eyes blazing to life. It was a look that hadn't been seen in years, not since he'd first gotten on a motorcycle and learned what it was to fly.
"Don't you dare try and pretend you know what kind of person I am," he said, and there was ice in his voice. "And better yet, don't you dare try and speak to my husband as though you think he needs a warning."
His arm moved, swinging back sideways, careening towards his opponent again, away from Gevauden as Emrys pivoted, his expression one of determination. The man's stick - whatever it was - came crashing into him, and he let out a sharp hiss of pain, staggering backwards on his bad leg, which sent a thrum of needles up and down his thigh.
"Song of the Sea!" Emrys shouted, without answering the page's rhetorical question.

SORRY SPARTA...AGAIN...
Emrys holds his staff horizontally and makes a sweeping gesture in midair, several times. Each sweep causes music to emanate softly from it, and the sound of it causes a heavy tiredness and an urge to sleep, though it does not cause actual sleep. The effect lasts about forty seconds.
"WHAT THE HELL!" Veritas squawked, kicking out instinctively - and then he felt bad, because kicking animals was bad. And then he didn't feel bad after all, because the damn thing had bitten him first and hey weren't these magical creatures anyway who could take care of themselves.
"FOREST OF LIES!" he yelped, because it was the first thing that came to his mind.
MoonKitsune
Veritas points at his opponent with his right hand and makes an upward gesture with his left. The opponent will suddenly find themselves in a dark, shadowy forest with tangles of dead, thorny trees and thick gray fog, unable to find the way out. They will still be able to see Veritas; it is all an illusion and lasts 15 seconds. Three uses.

"No, it's not. The heels aren't good for running in though." There was a bigger chance of her hurting herself than anything. Thankfully she'd been working on that for a while, running and jumping and landing and not injuring herself. It didn't take much of a slip to hurt herself though, not with her heels.
"At least my skirts longer this time, more leg coverage in the winter." She said, liking the idea of more coverage. It might kill her in the summer, really it might, but in the winter it was nicer. Wincing as her shoulder was struck she returned the favor, aiming to hit him in the shoulder as well. "I will say...vampires isn't much for magic. Energy draining and that's it. I wish it was something more." But it wasn't - sadly. And with her uniform she did get teased over it - she was used to it. "I think we both got lack luster spheres." As much as hers sounded badass.
Squire Venice: Team White HP: 28/40 Damage Done: 3
While he could have dodged them he didn't, he could hold his own against her magic...at least he hoped he could. She wasn't the only one with magic at their disposal, he was a squire and it did come with some perks. When he did go to move, as it seemed nothing had happened, it was right onto a lillypad that he hadn't noticed. Finding himself unable to move, or at least walk, he was able to focus on his own magic. "Let's see if you can handle my magic." His own was different from hers...but it would give him an opening, he hoped, as he waited in his spot for his magic to take hold of the senshi.
While he stood, waiting for her magic to fade, he waited to see how she reacted to his own brand of magic. He also was sure someone else would be caught up in...the range was a bit large and other people were close...ish....at least he thought so.

Squire: The handle of the weapon has become more ornate and the feathers longer. Nothing too major as far as changes go really. The magic however has now come in to play. At this point when the feather "tool" is waved those who are around Venice (in and 8' radius) will find themselves trapped within the illusion of a grand ball, everything over the top and not a single thing spared. Every hedonistic, over indulgent, thing which could be envisioned would be possible within this illusion. This attack would hit any characters within an eight foot radius of Venice and last for 30 seconds. The spell can be broken by a strong will, a shock to the system caused by something within the illusion happening, or if Venice is attacked or in someway breaks his focus.
