__ Through his misty eyes he saw a woman in white who arrived, supported Lahlil, and left to help others like an angel almost. Although her words were to Lahlil, Shouri felt that support as well from Sonyo and the community around him. The broken man stared at the short woman for support but before his hand would retract she would stop him. Suddenly, he felt waves of kind warmth wash away his pain, anxiety, mania, and despair. A kind smile spread as his carmine eyes softened on her. When she said her name he remembered it distinctly from before, but she was not crazy at all. In fact, she seemed perfectly empathetic and purely good to him at this perfect moment. He simply nodded to her with loyalty as his left hand was placed on top of her hands. Chakra flowed from his large hand into her's that matched what she did before. Except Lahlil would feel incredible energy and confidence. Her weariness would dissipate and her inner resolve would dominate her mind. When he saw her eyes, it completely confirmed that she was who he was searching for. Shouri kept an adoring and trusting look on his face as he spoke. The emotions that continued to flow through him made him a lot more ingenuous than usual. "Lahlil, I've been looking for you. I need your help with my eyes. It feels like my mind is...breaking. Like I don't know what's real sometimes. I've been falling away and clinging desperately." Shouri lowered his hands but his trusting stare persisted. "But right now, I'm here to support and follow you. Where you go I'll go." Shouri would leave the area behind Lahlil whenever she would take the lead.

It isn't always easy being patient. What had appeared first through Masato's portal was surely Sadayo's white puppet before the swarm of people. Its ghostly form collapses on the coast. There was a sudden rift between mistress and puppet from the distance shortened by the portal and she plainly lost connection to her creation. Sadayo was one of the last to force her way through the portal and risk life and lungs for one reason; family. Had she plainly just blinked too much and missed them? They were residents of the Whirlpool Village and more than likely round up, like the others, among the destructive mayhem. Maybe she just couldn't see them. However, her family would have seen her.
The puppeteer had followed Lahlil despite the slight delay between their arrivals. Bright sunlight came to her as a repelling sting on her sense of sight. Light was a refreshing sort of sting on her eyes versus the dark calamity of ash and fire. If not for the blur of green foliage Sadayo could just make out through a squint she would have mistook the land for the Wind. Alas, the air was too cool for the Land of Wind's climate. Through coughs and a haggard hobble away from the portal, Sadayo claws at the lone exterior button of her jacket in a scramble to take it off. With the clean jacket interior she wipes around her eyes and face. She was able to finally see and behold all the dark smudges on green cloth as uneven hand prints reveal her black gloves were soiled with traces of earth and ash.
By now, the jounin had came to rest on her knees on the ground. The orange dress she favors was speckled with ash, tarnished with small burns, and the embroidered yellow emblem was prominent among the stains around it. The unconventional diamond-like shape on her dress was what she carried as her own mark and just a snippet of three-square insignia her parents wore as a Soga. The air in her lungs was beginning to clear and with a strange state of calm. Was it just a state of shock? Even though she wasn't sure about where her parents, sister, and even Kyomei were there was a strange gut-feeling which told her she wasn't right to devote herself to worrying about them. Her mother and father had ways of bending things into their favor in hardship. A memory came to mind with the rugged sound of the sea finally tuning in among the raving populace. The thought was a promising one although the idea sat on the accord the boat her family indisputably commandeered five years ago was wrapped up in some complicated storage method her father set up. The boat they bagged was how the family reached the Whirlpool Islands, after all.
A wiggly, somber sigh escapes her even through her clear-cut, positive thinking. Her finger traces the outline of her embroidered diamond on her lap. One aspect could stay the same even if another trait had to die. She reached around her back, tugged on a bow, and allowed insignia of the island to slip off her person and added to her supply bag. Fresh air was good but a bath would be better. Lalhi just said they would be all moving out soon. Maybe a bath would come soon too?
Meanwhile the puppet which was once a white glowing beacon-like figure on the island was akin to an inert toy left on the ground. It was insulting, really, to just leave Gishin on the ground like that after the purpose she fulfilled for everyone. There was no rush to just haul her back to the binds of characters on paper. With a heavy-heart, Sadayo stands and straggles over to her languid puppet. The matter of picking up her tool was frankly much harder than need be since the doll's resting expression was familiar and brings to mind her unaccounted family. She attaches strings to Gishin and raises the doll's heavy form.
She spoke calmly to her weapon as if she were one of many doting over a loved one she reunited with. "I suppose we're going to a land of where the water falls. It's what I hear at least."

A still quite different looking Coda flickered into the area where the portal had come through, a small girl on her shoulders shouting for her to do it again. Her tattoos were back, but again different from before - not that their change would come as much of a surprise. A keen eye would notice the trademark scowl, even as it softened to let the little girl down and observe the scene. They'd also notice that her pitted old Konoha headband was back. She moved again quickly, obviously not interested in anyone in the crowd stopping her or acting like she was any sort of source of authority. All of this s**t made her uncomfortable. Coda was a fighter at heart, she needed to be scrapping - punching, kicking, tackling. This wasn't something any of that could solve. These people needed a place to call home, and they'd follow the shinobi to get it even though they should be running the other way.
Who could blame them, when the ninja could provide them shelter in hours instead of weeks? When Coda herself could lay a foundation in seconds? It was, to the young woman, an insidious cycle. Even she was here because the alternative was hardship, hardship caused by the villages, and now her fight had been transformed into struggle against a monolith. She ducked her head as she moved through the crowd, trying to keep a low profile. As much to avoid people bugging her as to avoid notice by any of the other shinobi. Coda knew it wouldn't last, but she had to at least try not get roped into staking out a plot for the new fiefdom.
The man who had molded the gateways to safety of the village members would emerge. The sillouete of the man would appear clearly as his eye's shined crimson in the darkness as his rinnegan would revert to his sharingan then back into their standard off black shade. The commotion of the crowd as they coughed and gasped for the fresh air of the area would be drown out as Masato looked over his shoulder to the smoke and toxic fumes looming over the horizon in the distance. His brows furrowed and gritted his teeth. His fist clenched as his mind went to what had transpired within nothing more than an hour. The young boy on his shoulder would move slightly, reminding him of the boy's presence. He sighed, burring his wrath for the moment to set the boy down.
As the soft chested boy was laid on the earth, Masato rose, looking to the young man who stood aside Lahlil in the crowd. Masato casually walked to the two, his presence making it rather hard to ignore him. He had overheard a small portion of the conversation, knowing that she was working towards a new location for them to find refuge would relive him of the last bits of concern he had for the villagers. He raised one arm up, waving his hand to the right at his eye level. " Yo. I have some personal stuff to take care of...you did well bringing them here. I'll be back to help after this. I just...need to go." He sighed, turning away after the simple explanation. His wrath would consume him as he exploded from the area in a blur, shocking those near him as his feet had left perfect impressions of themselves from the force of his exit. He would venture on, headed south in order to complete the next steps in his path.
tabLooking back at Shouri, Lahlil felt a sort of strange feeling grab out her. Sort of like somebody had just pulled her out of the hole should had been in all her life. A moment of expressionless confusion later and Lahlil realized that he had just used the same trick on her but instead meant to wash away all her self-doubt. This sudden flash of confidence swept through her body and with it brought form to her shoulders, along with a bearing that only someone who was born to lead could command. A smile found its way across her lips, but she said nothing to him. She was far too involved with this new power she had and trying to hold back her laughter at the situation. Not bad laughter, but just the giddy enjoyment of the reality of her situation. On impulse Lahlil gave Shorui a quick hug and then ran to the front of the group. Masato it seemed had his own plans to work through and right now she lacked the effort it would take to stop him from leaving, with a simple curt nod both parties went off their separate direction.
“Noud! Round up everyone we’re outta here.” Her command was light but firm enough to grab his attention. Immediately the Jounin de-summoned his ship and began preparations with the other leaders of each group to start their march. Meanwhile Lahlil herself set off ahead of the group to hopefully deter any threat to their movement as fast as possible. The last thing she wanted right now was more causalities.

As the man was blown back, giving the trio the advantage Shisui watched with some disdain as the man before him began to grovel. He begged to be taken into custody, pleaded for his life. Shisui shook his head as he gripped the blade, stepping past the remaining female of the group. " You desecrated the bodies of these people. You aren't worthy of a village's justice...not that there is a village to return to." He said, looking to his companion who was probably not aware of the situation quite yet. Come to think of it, Shisui wasn't even aware the group had been moved to the coast. Upon his exit he would be met with the village's population. For now, he only knew that the man before him was not facing good odds. " Pray before the gods you have spat upon." he said, drawing his sword with the conviction to kill. Memories of his family flashed before his eyes. " The fewer of you who would pervert the dead, the safer those who pass on will be." with that, a single horizontal slash would fleck blood across the room as quickly as the blade was removed and replaced. Shisui looked to Seiko. " Lets go, we need to stop the girl before she travels back to Uzugaku- what's left." He shook his head, accepting the truth himself. " I stumbled upon this place while I ran from the destruction. A volcano system errupted...there is nothing left of our home on the island." As they emerged, he would seek out the purple haired female only to discover the tail ends of the village populace moving towards a waterfall....Shisui would run ahead, intending to see what the commotion was. Did the villager's survive? He had to know. Even more, where was Nabuya.
