Unki was so very much snatched up in Saza's trap, without a doubt. She failed to pin-point Trefles's creation in time and simply had to endure the immediate, uncomfortable consequences. Haipa seemed to suffer the consequences of its actions too. Unki wasn't expecting her scorching chakra spheres to unleash a far from subtle tail-whip and down the automaton. When Haipa's first attempt to sweep its blade came dangerously close, Unki tried to recoil in her binds but the wires gripped her tighter by the second. The simple task of trying to lower her hand was sorely uncomfortable under the wire's grip. Haipa's swing was so close she could've sworn that bits of blonde hair were seen drifting away in the whirl of activity.
The second and third spheres collided with Haipa and Unki's jaw dropped in awe. Those spheres have only ever protected her by ending life and she wouldn't have imagined they'd protect her by battering artificial life. Before the shock could ware off Unki felt just a slight sense of remorse hit her when the thought returned to her that she wouldn't use fire. Was scorch still fire? No? It was hot air but it wasn't enough to warp a metal cooking tray, right? Unki had barely tested her nature on too many metal objects prior out of the pure desire not to actually burn herself or catch something to accidentally catch fire.
The wires were still so very uncomfortable. She was effectively captured with wires criss-crossing around her torso and weaved around her neck, arms, wrists, knees, thighs, and ankles. Just going forward with the act of arching her head upward to look up at Saza was borderline unbearable. Unki wondered how much longer until Trefles could allow his puppet to go further before another, more urgent, wound could be created. Saza was above and it's clever use of the ceiling reminded Unki of her previous use of the ceiling to set off her own heated trap, once upon a time. She nearly feared the act of breathing presence of the strings about her body. Trefles wouldn't permanently hurt her. Saza's programming likely took into account the run-of-the-mill opponents that could only function ninjutsu with two handed seal formations. Unki's werid DNA would have to be taken into account after this session. Unki slowly began to inhale while the five fingers on her right hand were bending into a half-hand seal combination. At the peak of her inhale, Unki made a face at Saza above that would suggest pain or the fear of what sort of agony being cut in multiple places at once would bring. Still, the wires felt as if they were pressing more and more against her with the expansion of her lungs. Unki's lengthy exhale just barely relieved some of the pressure from the wire on her torso. More specifically, her exhale was a jet stream of scorch chakra, aimed upward, with a sharp whistling sound like an angry teapot calling to be moved from a hot stove.
If a jet of piping hot air didn't do anything for Saza then Unki would be running out of wiggle room and best having Mr. Truffles call this whole mess off.

Trefles watched as Saza successfully ensnared the girl. Being the gentleman he was he'd avert his gaze by raising one of his gloved hands to impede his peripheral vision. Even though Unki wasn't wearing anything particularly lewd he still thought it the polite thing to do. After all, most ladies would find having their legs and arms splayed uncouth covered or not. This was when the ground rumbeled. He dismissed this as a simple tremor, little did he know it was the sound of the gates and the residential area near them being demolished. Simultaneously the Frenchman believed the battle was over with and was merely waiting for when Saza drew blood or Unki voiced her surrender. This was not the case however, Unki would be correct in the fact that Trefles knew very little of ninja, and based on what he did know and having never been exposed to it before, one-handed seals were not something he'd factored in.
Ordinarily, Trefles, would have intervened and protected Saza as he did before but inadvertently by averting his gaze from Unki's distressed form made it that much easier for her plan to succeed. While it was likely not her overall intent as the steam belted upward Saza would respond by tightening the wires to a point where it would break skin. Though not deeply. Then...they started to loosen. The lights of its eyes visible through the steam started to flicker. Then what sounded like the grinding of gears started to screech. Despite not being made of liquid like the flesh bags that were Unki and Trefles Saza did rely on something. That something was the moisture created through various lubricants applied to the joints i.e oil and the like. Perhaps not particularly venous like humans small applications would be negligible but a direct flood of dehydration would have an adverse effect. As the lubricants dried it was difficult to maintain torque, the term 'well-oiled machine' would come to mind. Unlike typical puppets manipulated by strings Trefles's puppets were run by gears and chakra. If gears can't move, neither can the puppet...at least not well and with their lack of self preservation it saw no reason to try and escape Unki's assault.
Clankidy clanks would be the signal for Trefles to lower his hand and look up. If the gears stopped it meant that Saza's battery would lose its flow. If it lost its flow it would land on top of Unki unable to sustain the wall climbing technique. Which wouldn't be particularly all that bad if not for the fact that Saza was using wire. Should that get raveled in the gears it would simply make the wires tighter...not to mention should her hair get stuck in them, perish the thought. Trefles still grieving somewhat over Haipa as he looked at the disheveled construct, Saza would begin it's fall atop Unki. The wires having loosened but not enough to make escape easy, especially as soon as it started falling Unki would plop on the floor suddenly as well.
Looking back to the girl the man would rapidly move inward and rais a gloved hand stopping the thing from falling on top of her as the lights in its eyes flickered out. It was nowhere near the damage that Haipa had sustained but Saza would indeed need repairs. "I suppose we can consider this your victory. I've still several improvements to make it seems. Bon. I am incredibly thankful for your participation and humbly apologize for any wounds caused." Raising his hand like one would a chakra scalpel the red gloves changed back to white. It was uncertain what he did as nothing was visible but a few swings of his hand as though he were karate chopping air and the wires that had enraveled Unki were all cut and severed. He learned more than expected, and likely his creations did as well. At least the best they could. Personally, Trefles himself realized he needed to increase his level of awareness and understanding of shinobi and mayhaps Haipa and Saza would learn to recognize risk to reward ratios.

Me petit rouleau Unki." {My{casual} sweet roll, or my small roll}" After helping her up if she accepted the ground trembled again. This time it was a tremble that could not be ignored. Simultaneously a loud siren went off. Through the window of the Dojo a large greyish blob, huge in stature could be seen as though it were a horizon. The blaring sirens "Arashigakure is Under attack. Please evacuate your homes and seek shelter, all able bodied shinobi are to aid in the evacuation effort" "What in...?" He would look at Unki and give her nod. "I suppose your duty calls. I'll do what us civilians are expected of and begin evacuating." Trefles would then move towards his defunct puppets somewhat somberly touching them with his gloves as they vanished in puffs of smoke returning to the workshop. He'd then about-face towards Unki "Unless of course, you'd like to evacuate me personally? As if I am, to be honest bon not entirely certain if there is a particular place of which to evacuate to. Albeit moi patrons abode is rather large an may prove suitable." Referring to his place of employ.

Vivian entered the dojo, looking around as she passed the doors barrier. No one really seemed to be around except for a couple of people she didn’t recognize. The woman walked away from the two and didn’t interrupt the spar that they seemed to have going on. Her mind was currently focused on the training that she intended to do. It had been a while since she had trained, mostly because she had been off helping the people of Otogakure and making sure they had everything they needed. This was the first time in a while that she had the chance to train. It was a good reprieve.
The woman pulled out her katana, waving it around slightly. ’Megumi.’ She deemed the katana’s name when she had received it. It wasn’t special at all but, she decided to name it regardless. With her katana in hand she went ahead and began training. A quick stab forward started the training, quickly moving into her stepping forward, continuing to stab forward with each step. As the movement became less awkward, she began to coat the katana in chakra as she pressed forward. The chakra meant to make the blade harder to break. Vivian continued this movement until it was a fluid motion that she wanted. Her chakra continued to envelope the blade, this time coating the edge so that attacks would be unable to hit the blade itself. Vivian approached a dummy with a sword placed in it’s hand. The woman then struck the blade, pushing herself forward then grinding the sword against the Dummy’s, forcing the Dummy’s blade against it’s chest. Without a moment of hesitation, Vivian pivoted on her left leg to force her to turn around and placed her Katana in between her and an imaginary target.
Megumi moved gracefully as Vivian began to swing it several times, getting faster each time. Chakra pumped from the woman’s feet into the ground, holding her still as she moved forward. Nothing could push her over at this point if they wanted to. More chakra was pumped into the blade, causing each slash from her blade to be accompanied by another slash of air. As she continued to swing her blade, Vivian walked up and onto a balance beam, continuing to slash and make sure she kept her balance as she walked on the balance beam. Vivian focused harder, her muscles and mind working perfectly together to result in the best result from her techniques. Focusing harder resulted in her blade striking faster and stronger than ever. Vivian got off of the balance beam and immediately found herself back at the dummy. The woman struck the dummy’s blade, effectively disarming it and sending the blade flying across the room to land in a wall. Once again she turned around and began striking, pulsing chakra into the blade. As before, she used the chakra to cause the air to strike with her, this time adding more chakra to create more blade of chakra to attack and assault an enemy. Chakra pulsed in her muscles to cause her next strike to be fast, but the attack that followed that was only so much faster. So fast that most shinobi would not be able to see it coming. Vivian then switched to her bow and quickly sheathed her katana at the same time. Only to immediately pull her katana back out and place the bow back in it’s place on her back.
Vivian set up a thread course and began to walk on each thread, attacking with her blade at imaginary targets. The woman then swung her blade in a circular fashion, which would cause an enemies blade to fly to the ground if there were one. More chakra was placed into the blade, causing it to be stronger especially against other techniques. The woman then thrust outward with her hilt at an imaginary enemy once again, continuing to walk forward on the threads. Chakra extended into the blade as she brought it back and thrust, the blade having an extended range on it now. The woman smiled as she jumped from the thread course and placed Megumi back into it’s sheath.

Vivian’s training didn’t stop as she immediately brought her hands up to practice taijutsu. The woman approached a dummy, taking a step to the side before forcing the dummy’s hands upwards. Her hands moved quickly as she began to step and hit the dummy. Step and hit was her current flow as she moved around the dummy. Suddenly the woman swept her leg, causing the dummy to fall to the ground. With it on the ground, she moved to another nearby dummy. The woman placed chakra into her palm and hit the dummy in the face. The strike would blind any normal person. She then placed chakra into her legs, causing her to move at near shunshin speed.
The woman then crossed her arms in an X formation, placing chakra through her arms to block an incoming strike. From this position, she moved her arm outward in a circular fashion to force an enemy’s arm away from her. It was almost exactly like a technique from the bukijutsu she was practicing. Chakra was placed in her palm again as she struck a dummy in it’s chest, forcing the dummy to fly across the room. The woman used the chakra in her hand to strike another dummy in it’s chest, causing a cross to appear on it’s chest as a hole was formed. More chakra was placed into the woman’s arms as she struck out, her strikes having an increased range for each punch she gave. The woman then began to strike with her feet, practicing each of the techniques with her feet as opposed to her hands until she was just as masterful with her feet as her hands.
Chakra pulsed throughout Vivian to give her more vitality and force her to continue fighting. Then almost the opposite was performed immediately after, she used her chakra to pull out her vitality to be made into chakra. The chakra she made was then pushed over her body to completely envelope it so she could defend against chakra attacks. Vivian forced her chakra to transform so that if it took a hit, she would be able to analyze the attack and use that knowledge to fight back harder and faster. The woman then moved her arm to her side in a block, which would force any technique to go around her as opposed to hitting her. Vivian then approached a dummy once again and practiced blocking attacks and forcing it to reflect back at the enemy. The woman the placed herself into a focused state of mind, incapable of getting stopped by genjutsu or Ninjutsu but, incapable of using them herself as she struck out against the dummy.

Vivian sighed and wiped some sweat from her forehead. It had been a hard training session indeed. It felt good for her to be back to training. The woman was far behind Belamos, she had no doubt. However, she wanted to train harder to make herself just as strong, if not stronger than him. However, he did have the Bijuu on his side which meant she needed to find her own way of being strong just like him. Something. However, something picked up on her sensor range. A bijuu. The woman could see that Belamos was there. Instead of going straight to the fight though, she determined it was best to go to the Arashikage’s office to see where she was needed.
It was a simple fact that Unki didn't know too much about machines and fired the hot jet of steam on a hope and whim that it would actually do something. She felt a little lucky to have gotten something right in foreign territory even if she didn't know what that "right" was on the spot. How she won would click into thought eventually. Unki was more focused on the immediate aftermath of their spar. There was a sizable hunk of metal that began to make horrible clanking sounds and, above Unki, just ready to fall by gravity's will. Unki saw two outcomes and neither were pleasant. She wasn't ready to completely panic but she was feeling that swoosh of adrenaline urge her arms and legs to try to move. The attempt to wiggle her arms, legs, and neck even were uncomfortable and worrisome of further injury. Drawing too much blood in a spar wasn't her idea of great, friendly match but the chance always stood when the option to push oneself was on the table. This was a hairy match and more so than her previous match with Toso (who suffered in the hazardous environment she effortlessly created). The shoe was on the other foot today.
She let out short, uncertain, yelp between realizing Saza was very much going to fall and the quick plummet to the ground. Unki landed on her backside with both legs sprawled out, about as they were in suspension if not relaxed a little, and still in their sharp bindings. But the hold on her bindings had been made less since, at this point, Trefles had intervened again for the better. He removed her wire bindings. Unki took a second to examine her wrists and hands. Her vambraces seemed to deter some of the damage on her arms but her elbows sported obvious reddish criss-crossing lines. The wound Haipa gave her was still hidden under the vest it was possible her the shoulder of her vest was the best bandage for now. Her clothing took the greatest bulk of the wire's flaying, aside from the back of her exposed arms which bled, a collar of her dress had a fine line sawed into it and the skin of her neck felt sore.
Trefles helped her up. Upon standing, she slowly tried flexing her ankles to test the tendons and observed where Saza had fallen. "You're welcome." Unki replied as she smiled some. A quick smile but brief and replaced with a haunted stare at the metal machines she couldn't believe she had beaten. "I think I'm okay since it feels like my feet still work right. I've still got my head on straight too. " She nodded slowly at his offer for his crafting services and about opened her mouth to ask what it was he was saying exactly if not for the tremble. Unki about jumped out of her skin with the quaking of the ground. Her imagination bounced about in alarm and she momentarily questioned if Trefles secretly had a larger, metallic monstrosity in hiding to test out. Unki calmed fairly quickly when the idea was blocked out by the siren and the following warning call. She noticed the gigantic menace out the window, a ways away, that the call referred to. What could it be this time?
"If that's were you feel safe then I won't object too much." Where else could they go? If the problem could be isolated where it was then being inside somewhere could be safe. But if the problem was moving then Unki would simply vouch for running as far away as one could go. She concluded the drop district wasn't safe based on where the giant glop appeared to be. The Monsoon Temples was questionable since there was no telling if the glop would ravage the mountainside. That would put anyone going there for safe harbor in danger. Unki didn't know the land here as well as she did elsewhere and what places were best for what purpose.
"If there's a way for you to get in and out safely and still be aware of the giant glop over there. I don't know the Land of Floods, let alone this village, enough to gather where you'd be the most safe. As she spoke, Unki looked more like a girl in thought than a girl concerned with furrowed brows. One hand was balled into a fist and pressed against her hip as the other lay against her dress collar and felt out the red space on her neck. This was her trying not to entertain the possibilities of the worst by leading a civilian somewhere hazardous. I don't have any maps of this village memorized yet. Still, if you want me to make sure you get there safely, I can do that for you.
Unki dismissed her tonfa for the time being and made herself look ready with a heroic sort of stance with her hands on her hips. The heroic feeling filled her spirit and despite her slight injuries wanted to really show that she could be the escorting champion true to her shinobi title. "Operation escort Mr. Truffles is go!" Now, Trefles is actually significantly taller than Unki (her head should be about to his shoulders) and her initial plan of grabbing him and flinging him over the shoulder felt less effective than how she envisioned. Ultimately, Unki settled with the next best thing to escort this select civilian. She suddenly grabbed at one of his wrists and began to literally pull him along behind. The phrase I am useful I am useful ringing out in her head with her no-looking-back, tactless, plan. {Exiting to... The Squid Restaurant...}

Tezumari entered the dojo, Idly thinking back to the incident in the showers, before letting a giggle at the gaggle of preppy ninja wannabes that they had frightened. Skipping over to one of the practice ranges, they stretched their arms out. Reaching into their suit jacket, they withdrew a Kunai and threw it at the first target. It landed and stuck, but not quite a bullseye.
Their eye twitched, before they withdrew a second kunai, this time from their skirt. Throwing the blade at the target, Tezumari watched it spin through the air. It landed without a fuss in the center of the target. They nodded to themself while tapping a new kunai, this one having slid out of the sleeve, on their chin.
They slipped their finger into the ring and spun the kunai around, before flicking it towards the target. A satisfying sound of impact followed. Slipping two more Kunai out from within their skirt, they quickly launched them simultaneously and then followed after they struck the target.
Tezumari collected their kunai from the target. After a quick inspection, they went back to the line to continue their practice.They slotted three Kunai in one hand and two in the other. They quickly launched the three towards the target, two impacted with greater force. Sending chakra to their left hand, they launched the next two.
After collecting the kunai again, Tezumari thought it might be wiser to attach chakra lines to them. Selecting four of them, they channeled chakra to them. 4 lines connected to the kunai's ring, and Tezumari brought the blades to their forehead. Charging the blades with chakra, they launched them towards the target after a moment. Four thuds and then a sudden chain of bursting kunai destroyed the target.
Tezumari spent the next few minutes testing out the strings. Changing the length, the width, making them zig-zag, and other insane motions. A single kunai seemed to fly through the air, changing its trajectory over and over again, until at last it landed in a target. Tezumari nodded. satisfied it had made its mark.
Tezumari pulled out a small scroll and set it on the floor. Channeling chakra into their hand, they reached into the scroll and began retrieving additional projectiles. After they were finished, they spun the scroll about and then sent the projectiles towards the next target, riddling it with various sharp implements.
The functionally odd Nara continued to play with their Kunai. This time rather than sticking with throwing, they settled for something a little closer to home. Slashing up and down, diagonally in an X-pattern, and various other strikes they practiced their skills handling a small blade. Tezumari seemingly danced across the dojo floor, their blade a whirlwind of steel.
They swiftly made their way to a training dummy, flipping the blade into a rear grip as they approached. They struck at the dummy as swift as the wind and as brilliant as the lightning in the sky. Switching their attack pattern on all three levels. Strikes to where the legs would be, to the body, and to the head. each angle practiced until the dummy itself was hewed.
They switched gears as they moved to the next training dummy. Sliding the kunai into their skirt, Tezumari struck out with a kick in the same motion. Landing a solid blow on its chest, they chambered back and delivered a second to its wooden head.
Two more kicks followed on the other side followed by several knife hand blows to the side of the neck. Tezumari spun around and delivered a rising side kick to its chin.Then quickly flipped backwards and landed their shin into the target's collarbone area. catching themself in a handstand, Tezumari swung their legs back down until they were standing once more.
It was about this time they heard the warning klaxons. Stepping out of the dojo, they looked around from their vantage point. They could see a brilliant light by where the floodgates seemed to be. Followed by large rumbling sounds of thunder. Where there is thunder, there is bound to be lightning. It seems that the evacuation of civilians seems to be well in hand. Let's see if we can get more information on what's going on. Tezumari, plan in head, set it to motion and took off at an extraordinarily fast skip towards the gates.

From Ika-Shokuji there was enough stress Unki thought was reasonably bottled up from dealing with hysteria, hi-jinks and the first levels of culinary Hell that it made sense that anyone like Mr. Trefles or Homura had a need to go out and get some exercise and fresh air, even during work hours. The girl found a space for herself with sufficient room and a straw target dummy for when times as one who trains alone, get rough.
At long last, Unki could return to training Sazanami and the various other styles to her heart's content and press the limitations of her body. The final installment to Sazanami was a single technique that requires the execution of fine strikes that cause no visible damage and unleash turmoil on her opponents joints. Minor turmoil, truthfully, but they bring about greater consequence and benefit for Unki's survival. This was rivival of her previous session and close to where she left off. She would have to beb able to catch an opponent's kick and then stump them by grabbing their other, supporting, foot. It's a counter. But not a damaging counter aside from maybe causing a bruised backside. Unki felt confident in this tactic. A basic move, which Unki needed more than one try to nail, was a difficult to understand alone. The best means to learn would have to be later when she can finally put theory and practice to the test. This move was good to use to block. Never a bad thing to learn to block. The next move was more complex and Unki spent her time sliding her leg around. Supposedly, after executing this slide, she's meant to be overwhelmed with slightly greater power. Was that why the move was noted to be complex? The borrowed text listing the information of the Pi Qua Quan advised one follow up with a strike to a vital location thereafter. Tenshin-Bansa, the text calls it a deceptive counter while simple in execution by catching an incoming punch to start. Unki took note of the need to twist her opponent's arm and work to force the opponent to the ground. Quite the brutal counter, she thought. Koran was another simple, but powerful, maneuver to learn. This was another counter that was more about kicking below the belt. Unki was familiar with kicking said location. It was nice to read there was an art to kicking below the belt. A partial namesake for the style, Pua Qua was a transition between the two techniques, repeatedly as Unki learned through her own exerciser. She would have to practice to make the duo look like a solo move. Another technique to follow was a fun spin but she'd need to devote her focus into trying to be one with a windmill. Hebi Taba is one of the few submission techniques of the style. Unki read about the unusual goal to become snake-like and make use of her flexibility. This was some serious flexibility this technique wanted, she thought. This was potentially a very intimidating technique in the right hands and Piq Qua Quan topped it all off by refining her ability to go through the steps more efficiently. Unki took a half hour to rest but not enough to loose the limber feeling she had worked up. She removed her tonfa from hiding. She had just a few techniques to refine before claiming herself knowledgeable in the subject. Like the River, she thought, and she started by holding her sticks and focusing on the flow of energy through her arms and weapons. The river would pour into the bottom of the valley. A downward strike that sounded risky. The use of both sticks on a target's shoulder sounded fairly nasty to deal. [Tanisoko - S Swift like the River - Training / Bottom of the Valley - S - Complex]
The final piece of knowledge she had to learn from Tanisoko was a special sort of block but she must apply her energy accordingly to save herself from sticky situations. She could feel the jolt of something poweful coarse through her like a real river after the rain. [Parting Waves - S- Spritiual]
As for Sobagai Deba Sentou, Unki had to dismiss her tonfa and finally square herself up to face the straw target dummy. She drew her sword and readied herself for the lasts of the style. The next move in mind was a nasty succession of attacks. The girl leapt to position herself atop the dummy's "shoulders" and finagled her legs to wrap around it's would-be neck. From there she had two gruesome options that ultimately put the enemy into a bind that could force a costly exit. She bailed on exerting herself to try one of the two gruesome paths and bowed for a different technique. Unki pushed off from the dummy to land behind and angled her arm to ready a stab into the back of the straw contender.

Unki followed through with her strike and sprung forward. The study of this style left her feeling more refined. Better, in the art of maneuvering and timing her attacks. Her reflexes had improved overall with the complete study of the style that she felt confident in her ability to snatch projectiles out of their path of flight despite the dispence of energy. As a plus, this stealth ready sword style instilled a more effective method of expressing her noise reducing skills. Totally "ninja" if you ask her.

Alas, with all the hard work she wasn't exactly able to stop. Well, Unki could stop whenever she wanted but there were still more obstacles to conquer with her sword. She'd come so far already but with little means to show her worth aside from the esteeming value she held so high above her, just from herself. The sword, however short, was her friend and moving quickly was what she wanted to demonstrate to others. The target dummy she had returned to was her only witness of late, to her accomplishments. She was so shadowed despite being a little lady of such importance. She wasn't aware of what the world was up to anymore. Unki swung her blade into its straw body and with her wavering emotions the energy pent up from inside came forth as a slicing wave. Mako made her way from the academy and down the streets of the village. As she explored, she took in some of the details of the village that she hadn't had a chance to see. She had arrived in the village just before the attack had occurred, so she had been isolated and quarantined in the academy until everything could go forward. This was her first chance to really take notice of the village. She made her way up a path leading to the Dojo. I'll bet there are some strong ninjas training there.
The eighteen year old, six and a half feet tall woman strode into the dojo with her head swiveling about to check out the building. Mako spotted a blonde haired woman, about a foot shorter than her, practicing with a sword. The sword cut through the air releasing a wave of energy at a training dummy. With a 'snicker-snack' the training dummy was sliced into pieces as though it offered zero resistance. So this is what ninja's can do. Impressive. Even better, she's a woman after my own heart."Gal, that was impressive as hell! You must be a fierce fighter! I was stuck at the academy during the attack. Just got to check the rest of the village out. Is this where all the strong ninja's train?" She said smiling as brightly as she could, her pointed teeth on full display. This was her chance to meet a strong kunoichi and she wasn't going to blow it with a poor introduction.

A long inhale and equally long exhale. The fate of the straw dummy was sealed and the laws of physics assured as much. Some force beyond the cosmos must have heard Unki's yearning that or coincidence was on her side today since the next sound to follow the thrash of a heap of straw hitting the ground was a voice Unki couldn't place. Really, Unki didn't think this voice was referring to her of all people but there wasn't anyone else around who had just cut down a whole hunk of target dummy. Unki lowered her weapon and spun herself around. Her sights set on the chest of someone clothed in blue. An awfully pretty color. It was a woman by form, apparently. Unki blinked and looked up, just a smidgen more, to find the face. All shades of blue on this one it seemed and about as tall as Mr. Trèfles, if memory serves. Unki felt as if she was caught off guard, sorta, but the first thing she could do was beam a modest smile for the compliment. Mention of "attack" must have referred to the wild beast she had caught a glimpse of when she braved the Drop District, Unki had little else to go on from there. "I guess you're the pair of eyes I needed to let me hear about how I was doing. Everything felt very quick on my part. I guess a lot of energy was still bottled up! I was dealing with what felt like the whole village, crammed under one roof during that goopy monster attack." Unki looked around the dojo on the comment of made of "strong ninja". Maybe. Just me for now, though." She looked back up toward Mako's grin. Teeth. The image of a complete shark's jaw bone came to mind. It was probably a coincidence, she thought. Unki smiled too although her own was significantly less toothy but, all the while, polite. She stabbed her short sword into the halved body of the straw dummy. Unki felt a tinge awkward but that was all in her head and taken away in a breath. Meeting new people felt strange sometimes. She had to remind herself that not everyone was speaking to her on an "official matter". Meeting someone new was an official matter of its own caliber and the first impression was the best impression and learning names was exceptionally useful for if she were pass word of the new faces in the forces. "I'm Unki. Are you new?" Her question was vague on accident. Unki simply forgot to choose what words to state what she wanted to know. It was a safe introduction, however.

Sheva walked through the doors of the Dojo, she had learned quite a few jutsu and now she was looking to get physical. She wondered around for a moment before her eyes set on a pair of doors in the back. She opened the door slightly and when there was no sign of training others; she walked though. The doors brought her to a small courtyard in which small hay targets had been placed. She approached them and examined then closely, there were worn arrows embedded into its surface. She thought for a moment and started to gather the arrows from the area, something brought her here. Her father would be proud, he was an experienced hunter.
Though she had collected the arrows from the targets and what small amount was on the floor; she was slightly hard pressed to find a bow. She walked to the stands and looked around, it looked like the area hadn’t been used in a long time. Towards the end of the walkway, she found a small recurve bow. She stood silently and looked at the targets in front of her. She wanted to take her time and learn what she could from the bow techniques. She lifted the bow into the air knocking an arrow, though she hadn’t used a bow before; she stance was everything. She pulled the arrow back keeping her left arm straight. The tension on the bow was incredible, she worked to keep the pull of the arrow tight. She suddenly left go and the arrow raced through the air... embedding itself into the target.

She left the arrow embedded in the same place where it landed, though she was the one to collect them; she wanted to keep track of her aiming proficiency. She knocked another arrow and decided to give the bow a full draw. She channeled chakra to her hands and the muscles in her back, doing this reinforced her draw. She closed one of her eyes and pulled back on the arrow until there was nothing left. She left the arrow fly through the air and also embed itself into the target not too far from the first.

Mako laughed, "A goopy monster? Ha! That's hilarious!" She shrugged her shoulders before continuing. "New to the village, yes. I was assigned a classroom at the academy and waited for an instructor to show. Then a b*****d with a sun up his a** came into the room with Akasame, had the damn nerve to tell me to leave. Akasame let me stay though. For a little one, she's surprisingly strong. The least the b*****d could do was give me this Guan dao." She gestured to the polearm strapped on her back. "Then they both left to do their own thing. Had to teach myself. Now if I had known someone like you were here, I would've been here in an instant. Got any tips on this whole ninja deal?" She spoke energetically, her near-white eyes sharp and focused directly on Unki's own.

Sheva walked over and plucked the arrow from the target and walked back to the stand. She wanted to learn more, she looked around and saw a few scrolls knocked in the wall. She looked them over for a bow bukijutsu. After scanning them for some time, she finally found what she was looking for. There were two of them, but only one of them suited what she was looking for. It looked like she had learned two of the techniques before she even grabbed the scroll. She placed the scroll at her feet and scanned it from the Stance of Drawing position. The next technique that she was going to learn was like the sensory jutsu that she had learned before.
She drew the bow back, the jutsu called for chakra to be channeled into the tip of the arrow. She exhaled and the tip of the arrow began to glow with shevas gold colored chakra. She shot the arrow into the target.

Sheva walked and plucked the arrow from the target and returned to the stand, she was turning to a long range kinda girl and she liked it. She thought that it was time to move on to more offensive bukijutsu and stood above the scroll to keep reference. The next technique was a quick knocking technique, it would come in handy for encounters that required more speed to shoot an arrow. It was written that she would have to channel chakra to her hands and back to knock, draw and shoot.
She channeled chakra into her hands and into the muscles in her back, she had a decent amount of chakra control training with the sensory jutsu. She exhaled and within a blink of an eye, there was an arrow knocked and ready to shoot. Her hands glowed with her faint gold chakra.

Sheva pulled the arrow back in and placed it back into the quiver, she liked the fact that her archery progress was growing... but she still had a long way to go. She stretched her hands by placing them together and pressing, the stress that she was feeling in her hands seemed to alleviate. She cracked her knuckles and got back into the stance that she knew. She wanted to learn more and she was certainly going to, she was a hard working girl and nothing was going to stop her... well at the moment. She stood above the open scroll and looked down at it. The next technique was a technique that seemed like it concentrated on making every shot count by channeling chakra to a specific eye. Along with her sensory prowess, this was going to make her deadly.
She looked at the target in the distance and raised her bow, she turned it to the side to align the arrow with the pupil of her eye. She channeled chakra into her eye and everything seemed to sharpen and widen all at the same time. Though it was slightly overwhelming, she stared at the target itself. It was like she was able to see every grain of the target and she let the arrow fly. It struck the target with a large amount of force. She brought the bow to her side and smiled to herself, she was happy with her progress but it wasn’t going to be the end.

Unki puckered her lips and furrowed her brows as Mako spoke. What had been described were new details of the man she called Red Ruin who at some point at been the academy either after or prior to his untimely visit to Ika-shokuji. "Sun up his a**, huh?"Unki repeated as she began to again try to piece the clues together, she couldn't absolutely place her finger on being correct or incorrect but everything she had learned built a very suspicious character she sought to confront on positive terms. To look less like someone just making faces and more like one in thought, Unki set her hand to her chin and nodded slowly. She changed the subject with a clap. "That was nice of him, that's a pretty warm welcome-wagon gift, despite treating you like a pest. I'm sorry you weren't greeted with better company or given the proper instruction. The village ought to be ashamed of itself for allowing trainees to figure everything out alone."The look on Unki's face changed from one look another from thought to a glittery, almost heartfelt stare, to one bitter and unamused with the neglect of students and genin. She sighed with a miffed air about her, looked away, and mumbled something aloud, "I might add that... When Unki looked back up, she found there was something about Mako which Unki felt as familiar and, oddly enough, their blanched, pearly eyes (with what may have been a silvery sort of glint in there somewhere) wasn't necessarily the kicker to pick the appeal. Why talk ninja all the time? There are things more familiar to Unki than ninja but such was the first item that they stood on as common ground."Tips? Expect the unexpected, for starters, but you should have been asked to anticipate that from your lessons unless that topic didn't come up. Never under-estimate the value of a good illusion!" Unki seemed more confident mentioning the illusions but started wondering how fast it would take before started sounding like an educational fortune cookie. Unki took a moment to get an eyeful of Mako, mostly to try to nail what it was about that made Unki feel almost disinterested in ninja affairs, when it donned on the chunin that Mako appeared to carry no mark of the village.
True, Unki wasn't formally given a hetai-ate to run around with but she thought of herself to be in a slightly different standing than the average chunin. She hesitated to ask, " no headband?" Unki arched one of her small brows. There always stood the chance Unki just plainly missed something.

Mako's attention was briefly drawn away by the sound of something hitting a solid object. Another female seemed to be practicing archery on some of the training targets. Mako thought to herself her eyebrow furrowed, I wonder if I could throw my Guandao that far. Its not really designed for that but still. Mako looked back at Unki and responded, "I'm not too big of a fan on illusions, but they are helpful for ambushes. I don't think we covered that. Spent more time just sparring with weapons. The b*****d worked with Akasame for most of the other stuff." She said with a grimace, "But I can see how that could help. You never know if the shark you reel in will breach onto the boat or not."
Mako had a brief flashback to the time she snuck onboard a ship to learn more about fishing. Two men were reeling something in; It seemed to cause them difficulty. Mako was sitting behind a crate on deck, watching and learning. She would often sneak onto the bigger boats and hide in the crates. People tended not to notice her and the few times she had been noticed, she would swim back to shore. She was an adept swimmer and could hold her breath for an unusually long time. The line seemed to be pulled taught and dragged heavily for a moment. Suddenly it seemed to go slack; A large creature leapt out of the water and fell on the boat. One of the men, not expecting the sudden emergence was crushed under its weight, his scream was short-lived. The second man seemed scared to approach, but went around to where the two men had stored weapons. Mako had heard of such a creature, a shark, Many at the village had called her it as a name before. Looking at it now, Mako saw it as a majestic predator, terrifyingly beautiful. What they had tried to use as an insult, Mako now saw as a compliment. The shark flailed as it tried to get off the boat. As it approached the edge, the man returned with a spear in hand. She saw clearly it was one of the men who had tried to burn her alive several years back. Not wanting such a beautiful creature to be hurt, Mako rushed out from her hiding space and rammed the man from behind. He lost his balance and toppled forward. The shark, just about over the back of the boat, flailed once more and fell back into the water. The man, however had fallen overboard as well. Mako rushed over to the Sails and opened them as she had seen others do before. There was a loud splash from behind her, a high pitched scream followed. Mako looked back as she sailed the boat away. Her abuser had disappeared amidst a red wave.
Mako shook her head, before asking, "What did you say? Sorry. Wait... Headband. You mean that thing I saw some of the ninja wearing? I was told that you had to graduate from the academy before you could get one. Though how that's supposed to happen wasn't explained." Mako shrugged, tugging up the strap for the back harness she had for her weapon of choice.
