Dull eyes only watched Zahara survive the fist assault. There wasn't any witty snap back to his bold statement no, her face entirely devoid of emotion. Instead she only slammed a single foot on the ground and cased the cavern to ring out in a deep vibration similar to a large church bell. Regardless of whether or not he covered his ears the illusion would hit him all the same and Zahara would see Chie split into hundreds of clones. At once every clone would wave their hands in a somatic action while the real (enemy) Chie would make sure to only move through the crowd as a whole to keep her whereabouts hidden. Meanwhile fro the air above them a multitude of fireballs formed out of thin air to come raining down on Zahra and his clay hound.
Suzu no Oto [ Sound of Bells ] Rank: A Official Description: Suzu no Oto is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Sound kunoichi Kin. Kin will hurl senbon which have bells attached with string. This string will also run from the senbon itself to her hand. After she hurls the senbon at her opponent, the dangling bells can be moved by Kin to emit a ring at a special frequency. Gōka Hitoame no Jutsu [ Great Fireball Shower Technique ] Rank: S Official Description: Kneading his chakra and then converting it to fire, the user creates a multitude of fireballs at the same time which then rain down on the target causing severe, widespread damage around the field. These fireballs can easily destroy Earth Release-created shelters and even overpower Water Release attacks. Guild Description: See official description. Destroys Doton and Suiton techniques of the same rank or lower. Requires Gōkakyū no Jutsu [Great Fireball Technique] and Ryūen Hōka no Jutsu [Dragon Flame Release Song Technique]. This is an upgrade of Gōkakyū no Jutsu and takes the same slot as the C-rank version once learned. Any version can be used for the appropriate version's cost.

He would get no answer out of an abomination that would need to be outright erased, but now Zahara and his newly created C2 clay creature were in for the fight. Bells rung, loud and pronounced like those of the highest tower in a cathedral on the holy day of the week. Zahara roared out in a angry roar from annoyance over the sound as the Samehade shrieked in its own annoyance as he swung the weapon over his head. Amber eyes now glossed over to a ivory slate as chakra flowed to them, the Byakugan was active once he had seen the abomination multiply by the hundred.
All ambient chakra came to life to him including that of his samehade and the massive fueled clay creature lumbering under his feet. He ran off of the clay creature at a full sprint now as he saw within his mind's eye the disruption his senses were undergoing. But his immediate concern was the rapidly expanding mass of Katon nature chakra forming high above and he controlled the great dumb brute of a winged hound to fire all rounds. He jumped high into the air to commence his own plan of action as the hound lifted its head and howled up toward the ceiling of the cavern, wings unfurling wider as the creature fired a crescendo of missiles from its body to match the increasingly loud gongs of the phantom bells. White chakra fired out from its entire body in a volley of ten missiles as the clay rocketed out from the hound and now the massive body dissolved once its charges went spent, the remainder of the chakra within the tenth missile.
Zahara charged headlong into the frey as he could see the katon chakra high above, its hot energy hitting the ground already raining massive fireballs. The Hyuuga was quick on his feet as he darted inbetween the carnage of fire, moving deftly and his massive chakra leech of a blade to suck up the ambient chakra that was near him. But in the length of his run, Zahara dragged the Samehade along the ground as the razor sharp scales ripped up the earth and with the chakra flowing through his blade, the soil was pulled upwards white hot chakra transmuted the soil into white clay that slowly started to accumulate along the length of his sword.
All the while, the clay rockets homed in on the densest parts of the chakra that both Zahara and the Samehade could sense as he mentally guided them each during the whole ordeal. Roughly half of his rockets collided with the raining fireballs, exploding with lethal capacity as the rest struck into an array that surrounded Zahara's destination, each daisy chaining large explosions that consumed roughly half of the cavern while the rest were erupting in the air. To the observant eye the eruptions were carefully chained together to all connect and erupt, creating a barrage of hellish fury all around.
Now Zahara weaved through his targets of identical Chie, even his penetrating radial sight wasn't enough to discern which target was true but his true plan came into fruition as in the biggest focal point he could manage, Zahara gripped the Samehade in both his hands and let his chakra vent out in a violent notion as he began to pivot on one foot, swinging the clay caked Samehade at the same time as his chakra primed the explosive substance. Several dozen clay critters came alive then as Zahara spun in a circle at rapidly increasing speeds as the chakra expanded outwards from him. In a near instant, nearly a hundred tiny clay birds flew out in all directions and began to add to the explosions that had been going on but Zahara's Hyuuga kekkei genkai came alive as a vortex of chakra expanded outwards to consume everything closest to him while the Samehade was included in this spin, adding to the lethality.
At the end of the rotation, Zahara would end back into a neutral stance with the sharkskin over his shoulder as his cloak would billow up from the venting chakra still flowing from his skin from the tenketsu technique. He scanned his immediate vicinity then with the Byakugan and he stood, rolling his neck as he hissed out a sigh. "

Smoke began to clog the air as explosions littered the area to turn it into a hellish battlefield. It would soon become obvious which Chie was the real one when a blast of wind erupted from her mouth while the clones would only mimic this effect. Although even with the assault of wind and fire, the dragons collective might would prove too much and seemingly overtake her. Too bad Zahara's byakugan wouldn't be fooled and clear as day see the Chie's chakra vanish from sight, and likely tip him off long before her body reappeared on top of his clay hound. Left half of her face and arm were now torn from her body to reveal pure chakra in the place of blood and guts underneath, not that this did anything to diminish the danger of the large amount of collected Raiton chakra in her right hand reaching out to strike at his heart.

Embers of the resultant fire fly through the air as the echoes of eruptions still carry off as the chaos finally dies down. The sight of the world faded from his eyes as the false construction of his memory and mentor shifted to a new position. His opponent was neither alive nor dead, just a false creation of chakra as the lightning coated their hand, the false shell of a body flaking away as it was presumably a result of his carpet bombing. Now Zahara was face to face with the culprit of fueling his rage as they moved with a powerful technique directly out of a body flicker. The clay hound began to dissolve at the peak of their exchange and now Zahara moved into melee range with the opponent who held out their thunder-infused limb and now... the samehade chirped in utter delight as the hyuuga deftly wielded it as he also commenced a body flicker and angled the sharkskin at the base of the blade to block the incoming lightning, the chakra absorption of the sword making the ability innert while he now put forth all of his force and energy into brunt of the attack. This Samehade would threaten to carve into the constructs arm and Zahara's swing would see the massive blade cleave through as he would continue its path down the entire length of its arm, shoulder and finish by bisecting the torso of where the heart normally would sit.

Moving so fast that her eyes were not able to keep track of the movement, her lightning coated arm found not the crush of his heart but the scaled hooks of Samehade's blade. Her clone body not able to keep up with the speed of the strike and was, probably to the surprise of Zahara, was entirely consumed. The chakra created body only survived to fuel the demon blade even more, and with it's disguise now gone. Revealed the appearance of a pure white scroll underneath. Considering there was nothing else in the cave system, Zahara could easily assume this was the prize he had come here for. now the only question that remained as how could he escape? If the rumbling from above was any signal as to how the war going then it must not been going at all. Assuming he stopped to check his surroundings the bomb throwing ninja would find another exit on the far side of the cave system. Which was good because at some point during the fight large chunks of crystal had fallen to black the path he had already taken.

'Gikikikiiiii' The samehade hungrily consumed the raw energy as its scales ripped through the fake construct of uzu's former kage, dust flaked off as the dying opponent became absorbed into the blade. Now Zahara stood there as the greatsword followed through with the swing, resting in the ground as he breathed heavily from exertion just then. Nothing around was in his view any longer, either destroyed by his carpet bombing or receding off in the darkness of the crystal caverns to escape the fight. But now a rumble coursed through the caverns, chunks of crystalline stalactites crumpled from above as chunk of gem and rock broke up with a few heavy impacts from far above ground.
The samehade was once again back over his shoulder as Zahara secured the blade with the leather strap. This... scroll. Had this been the source? He mused to himself, collecting the item before he shunshin'd off in the opposite direction of whence he came.
Stood waiting a the entrance to the cave was the familiar tired face of the same snake woman who had sent him on this run around quest. Her ragged and torn clothes were gone now in in their place was a simple white undershirt, the dagger that had pierced just under her rib cage was still there and now clearly visible. "We need to leave now, some fool set off the volcano. I can open up the tunnels that aren't connected to crystal so that we can get to the excavation point but we'll need to hurry."
