"...I see..."
He was compliant to being chained again. "Wait, one more thing... How long has Sol been here.... And does he have someone?..." he asked curiously.
Once the scientist was gone, he sat down as usual, almost like a routine. Except this time, he opened the binder and looked at its contents.

The scientist glanced back at him and frowned "Those are questions you have to ask Dethir, the head scientist, he is in charge of your project" she said simply and closed the door, locking it a moment later.
Outside there was one person this time in the space outside but they were not looking toward Zaku just off to the side instead.
Inside the binder the pages were separated into sections, each section was a city with a small blurb on general information of each and the current heads of state/council members for each city state , general public information. The section for Belosh was much larger and focused on nearly all the council members. Norcrest had four council members information in detail then minor blurbs on the others, Morrad had the dictator's information, her first and second son had minor blurbs and the first was cross out. Belrad and Midena were nearly as thick as Belosh with each member. Criel has the former dictator but he was crossed out and minor blurbs on the people currently in charge. There was a section on Sanctuary with information on Rhun and Nova. Another section just on rival research companies including SIU and Spectrum as well as others and information on Mara and Marai. Finally an obviously growing section on the Mafia and Mise. Nothing other than general information for everything.

Zaku thumbed through the pages before tossing down the binder, and merely putting his head down as always. Obviously, he did not care about it.

Hours passed and nothing else happened other than for the soft sound of people walking past the door. It was almost as if they had lost interest in him when there was a jingle at the door and Callie's came in again. " Hello?" she asked looking for him.

Zaku didn't move in those hours he was alone. It wasn't until the voice broke the silence thay he even looked up. "...Calise... Its nice to see you again..." he smiled at her softly.

She smiled in response "Ready to eat?" Looking apprehensive all the same even if he did eat before. "I heard you stole points from Sun for being um...in ..snarky? Just words? That is brave " She said a slight smile as if she wasn't quite sure what snarky meant but it is what she heard. "He must be really angry..he can be really scary sometimes , but everyone else was talking about -you- they....sound ..hopeful?" She said softly, staring at him to see if it was true. As she closed the door and push the cart right up to him. "You still have no shirt " she giggled and waited, .

"I suppose so..." he answered, moving to get up. He quirked an eyebrow at her comment about the points. "It wasn't intentional... I've never been that good at fighting... so I fight with words... I must have defaulted to it." he explained and chuckled a little. "He probably is..." he muttered. "I'm not afraid of him, he kinda reminds me of someone, to be honest, so I don't really get intimidated by him." He only nodded in agreement to it all. It hadn't been his intention, but if it got people talking, then why not.
At the mention of shirt, he looked down and sighed. "...so I dont..." he muttered with exasperation. He really needed to figure that out next time he had the chance... It just hadn't been a priority, so he kept forgetting. He moved to eat and drink what was given, before placing it all neatly back on the cart. "Thank you..." he offered a smile to her.

"Oh...they sound hopeful thought saying you are going to tear this place down" she said looking doubtful then surpised. "You know someone like Sol? Are they as .full of themselves?" She giggled at that as he ate, once he finished her smile faded to dread as she got ready to head to the next one, she nodded and smiled very faintly as she started to pull the cart away.

Zaku frowned, "...why do they think that..." his frown deepened, "...they shouldn't place their hope so blindly in others who are also just as trapped..." he sighed, a dark reality. He was a prisoner just as everyone else here, and even more so that he would have eyes on him at all times because of who he was. He wasn't a miracle worker. In fact, this was the first time he himself was an actual patient of Haven's care. Before, he blindly worked for them, but now... he was just like the ones he recruited. "Look, there's a lot I can't do here... there's implants in my body to cause pain, they lock me up in here... and Tri... he's still here... I got a lot riding on my compliance, kid.... I don't think I'm much worth to a cause like that." he confessed, "...i'm so sorry..."
Taking a breath, he tried not to dwell too much on his hopelessness. "Yeah, someone who's a hot-head just like him.... Well, sometimes... He's arrogant on occasions when he thinks he's doing the right thing. Mostly just quick to get heated when pressing his buttons." he snorted softly. It was entertaining at time, maybe that's why he found Sol a little entertaining as well.
He had watched her expressions and noted them. "Next time I'll eat a little slower?" he suggested, seeing if that's what she had wanted.

She looked a little crestfallen but it wasn't something that surprised her. "I know.... just the ones I have talked to are excited. They said you lead something big that made them fearful." opening the door then stopped and nodded "Everyone is stuck... " she sighed then smiled very faintly. "Sol can be nice..he even eats the plate of the person he knows isn't going to eat it so I don't" at his offer she shook her head. "Eat as you do... when I finish my run I get enough points to go visit mommy " she said as a matter of fact. "But I like talking to you.." she nodded slightly then looked at the garden. "Oh! You can go there, they don't want you to be low on a vitamin thing. It isn't the sun but a light then they have a plotted tree. You might see the other there but you can't talk to them unless you both pay points " she informed him as she pulled the cart out.

"...i'll..keep that in mind..." he sighed, frowning. "Maybe I will... I can't guarantee anything at the moment.." He nodded, "Yeah, the renegades... I was the leader... overthrew a lot of places like this... but from the outside... It's different when I'm in here." he explained and nodded again. "We'll see."
He quirked an eyebrow about Sol, well that was something he didn't expect. Then the comments about her mother, that hit home a little harder than he could have imagined. "That's good. I'm glad you can see your mother..." he commented.
Looking out to the garden, he nodded. "I see. I may do that..." he retorted with a half smile, "Thank you for letting me know. I'll await your next run... I like talking to you as well." he smiled a little brighter, looking like he might have been feeling a bit better.

She smile sadly knowing as well as he that it was unlikely even so she really did want to believe it but when he looked so sad she felt bad for even mentioning it. "Uh huh. Dinner ...maybe. Sometimes it changes when they want " she said looking a little worried but then waved and pulled the cart out the rest of the way and closed and locked the door before heading to the next person.
It was silent as no one else came to bother him or even introgate him.

Zaku kept his smile until she was gone, which at that point, he frowned. Slowly, he moved back to the usual spot, sat down crosslegged and put his head down. He didn't move until he was bothered again.

It was some hours before there was another jingle and Dethir entered, looking toward Zaku and glancing him up and down. "Seems you had a fun morning. Have you read through the binder? " he asked still looking Zaku over and not looking very happy.

Zaku glanced up for a moment, but didn't seem all that interested in the person who had walked in. "Yeah. I flipped through it." he answered honestly but made no effort to move or look at him for now.
