Responding to Spike who stated about already leaving. If Scryew was honest, he wasn't too keen on seeing another rude and uncaring Namekian. Especially towards his own kind. But perhaps things could be different and it's just his that he would have to put up with. Prepared to set off, he alongside everyone else was ready to follow the human who would lead them.
Runi's face was filled with confusion as he looked between the few. They were now speaking terms he didn't know he was okay with hearing. His arms crossed while his head leaned back a bit, allowing his eyes squint a bit. Anyone trying to kill them? There are more of them. Run Runi, Run. His mind was trickled with thoughts of getting into a position to die again. There had already been around 15 in the past 7 months. His mouth furrowed while watching them start rising. EVEN THE KID CAN FLY? Runi put a hand to his forehead, feeling if it was just a fever dream. Though his feet slowly floated and his ears were pinned to listen to the talk of the odd green man. "Univers-wha?" His brow tinged while looking at him. He didn't want to hear about some theory that was bonkers, but believable after what he's witnessed. "Wait! You're not gonna say that like it's reasonable and leave!" He would fumble a bit with his take off and fly to follow them. Curiosity was getting the better of him, but that's a deadman's motive.
Hurtling through space, the small metallic sphere traveled a great distance across galaxies. It was a drone that was designed to scan the planets it passed. But whatever it was searching for, it hadn't found yet. That is, until it entered this galaxy and came upon Planet 4032-877. After scanning the planet, the drone breached the atmosphere at an astonishing speed. It somehow managed not to be burned up in the process and continued until it crashed into the ground. The area was unpopulated, though it didn't cause too much damage in its entry. The drone burrowed deep into the crust, emitting a sonar and transmitting to a distant location.
His flight would be swift before he came crashing down, his foot stomping down onto the ground of the meadow, stopping himself with a large slide across the floor. His legs wobbled while he panted and stood with the two in tow. His arms trying to keep one together as the other lay limply in his arm. The warrior would rise up straight and walk towards a poorly made straw hut. His feet stepped one infront of the other while blinking slowly. His mouth let out one last pant while stumbling into the area and putting the two onto a mat,before plopping down. ". . .I wish I timed myself. . .Eh?" He'd ask his necklace as he lifted it up a bit. His jest was complimented by his stale expression. Though after which he would catch a small reprieve and look over the two. His eyes blinking slowly while stepping towards the one who's parts were on the fritz. "I'm no technician. . .More of a strategist, but. . .I can do something. . ." He'd say as he began to remove the rune from his shoe, watching the dying light before gripping it tightly. "Let's hope you're human enough for this to help." He'd say as he placed the rune on 11, the light glow would syphon some of his ki and put it into her attempting to mend light wounds. Though while tried to focus on it, his head would turn to the other woman and mellow his expression. ". . .I am sorry, I wasn't strong enough last time Amber." He'd say to her while looking back to his Rune. "If I had taken things seriously, if I had put my all into training. You. . .We. . .Tch. I'm sorry. Is all. . .I'd take another 10 ton plop on my lap if it meant you were gonna be okay."
His feet would walk to a shelf as he arranged a sake bottle that had tipped over, with a ripped sutra on top. He'd sigh in relief looking at it. ". . .I really hated that guy." He'd say to himself while walking around, wiping off shotty furniture gritting his teeth. "It's like me and the big guy's training days. . .Only he's not here, and I'm here with two unconscious women." He'd pause a moment before looking over at them. He'd then cringed a bit before taking off the purple cloak and laying it on the body of the two while the rune did it's work. "This makes me less Jack the Riiperish." He'd say while stopping and looking to his necklace and mellowing his eyes. "And you've been awfully quiet too Sang-chan." He'd complain as his body stretched and he slowed his pacing and cleaning. ". . .And it's making me seem crazy. God, if this is how I thought my day would turn out. I'd have stopped and picked up cards or something." His complaining continued as he rolled his shoulder a bit and stopped in the dirt path. His mouth letting out a sigh hoping something positive came up soon, though his hand clenched into a fist. His blank expression dampened while he stepped back and started moving on his feet. ". . .I could just. . ." He'd murmur as he punched the air once, the cutting sound resonating. "It'd be a way to pass the clock."
✧The Saiyan had flown from the desolate city to the place he knew where Runi had gone. Based on his word choice alone, Pars could only think of the Plains where they had met. It was that place where his life had effectively changed. It had been so long since he had people he could consider his equals, individuals he felt as though he lost his sense of isolation on this planet. Getting involved with their affairs was perhaps one of the best choices he made in quite a long while. He wasn't going to have either one of them be lost, not when there was so much potential they offered individually and together. He would eventually spot them from the air and move to descend and land before the trio. He said nothing at first, simply looking at the two females, one he knew very well, the other not so much. He had no real idea what their relationship was, but if she was going to take Seven away from them again, then there may be issues. “...How are they?” He asked Runi, glaring at the red head. Pars was no healer, he only knew how to battle, how to clash his fists with others, though regarding the unknown girl’s condition, it was quite obvious as to what her condition was.
The man would look to his hand before his eyes sharpened and looked to the entry way. His hand pushing outward in a light stance before seeing a familiar face step in. He'd sigh while running a hand through his silver locks. It was relief that it was the big guy, now he could feel safer, or at least in more familiar danger. It was odd. His mouth, it was doing that curve up being in the presence of both of them again. Even if things weren't the most ideal while he walked to a clay cup and pulled a bottle from his side, pouring it to the brim, and sliding it down one arm to the other. He wouldn't spill a drop as he offered it to Pars. "I'm doing the best I can. . .But I'm not technician. Not like hands from back when." He'd say reminding himself of another friend he hadn't seen in a good while. "But, I'm giving her my chi. To at least stabilize those parts than are human. . . Maybe they can give us instructions on what we can do." He'd say while thinking if they had a tool box around this place. What kind of mud hut didn't have a tool box. Though he would close his eyes and chuckle. "But, I assume that you aren't talking about the bold red one. . . Are ya?" He'd state while rolling his shoulders and leaning against the wall while looking to Pars.
His half gaze sombered. "I don't know. . .She hasn't awoken." He'd say while blinking softly. "It doesn't help that I can't sense her, but also . . .Even if she wakes up. She may not even know who we are." He'd tell Pars with a sigh and a hand pinching the bridge of his nose. "What a pain. . . I just need a sign that this day's not a mistake." He'd tell himself in self loathing.
✧Pars listened to Runi, eyebrows furrowing at his concerns and the condition of the unknown girl. Pars was never one who understood technology or how to properly use it. Being told that what Runi was doing couldn’t fix everything was frustrating. The Saiyan knew not what he could to help, he had nothing really he could offer in terms of support. What’s more, the idea that Seven may not recognize them was even more frustrating, making him huff out a breath of irritation. “But she asked us for help, didn’t she? That had to have meant something.” The Saiyan did not desire to readily accept that he and Runi may have been forgotten. Though they did not know each other for terribly long, that didn’t change the fact she had quite the effect on his life.
There was not a peep from the girl as she was carried off by Runi. While unconscious, she was slowly recovering from the shock. It was as if her memories were being replayed for her from the beginning and the emotions she felt along with them. At first she was quiet, even when she was finally laid down and covered in a blanket. But as the memories progressed, she began to stir in her sleep. The horrific accident that left her maimed and trapped in her own head; the fear and loneliness she felt at that time. Yet, that was only the beginning of the nightmare… Being turned into an Android, forced to follow orders with no will of her own and then forced into cryosleep when they could no longer control her. She only had a brief respite when she awoke- when she met Mari and started to search for the Dragon Balls. For the first time in a long time, she was happy to find people she could trust. And then it was over. When she failed to defeat 11, she was forced to return to those people…
With a gasp, the blonde would quickly jolt up, alert and short of breath and sweat on her forehead. She looked around in a daze… Where was she? What happened?! A sharp pain in her head would seemingly answer some of her inquiries as more memories started to flood her head. “...No...No...No, no, no, no, no…” the Android groaned, tossing the cape off of her. Her head was spinning as she rose to her feet. She was completely disoriented, but had enough coordination to stumble out of the straw hut. Still, those horrible images kept appearing in her head- being experimented on, having her mind altered and her body modified. They had her awake for all of it and she remembered...all of it. ...Powerless. Helpless. Useless. Guilt. Shame. Regret… These emotions were repressed and forgotten until Android 11 shattered the mask on her face. She began tearing the rest of the armor off, casting the hunks of metal away from her. And then the blonde collapsed onto her hand and knees into the grassy field, staring at the ground. Along with sweat, her tears fell on the blades of grass, though she remained silent. At that moment, Android 7 realized...they were successful in taking something from her- something she may never get back...
His hand would move through his hair while he began to pace. His eyes closing tightly while he began to pace. His fingers gripping his locks as he attempted to come to himself. "Sorry Big guy. . . I just. . .I'm unsure. I've been so unsure." He'd tell him while his heart started to race more and more before his body moved instinctively. He'd turn around with his hands up in a battle ready stance looking to them. He'd pant slowly. Though seeing her rise up would create a pause in his heart, his mind blanked as he slowly stood up straight. She was stunned and so was he, though her words he would watch her dash out. He'd catch his cloak in mid air following her swiftly. He'd look back at Pars for a moment while nodding before leaping to where she collapse. Her pieces scattered and her body hovering over grass while standing in the pathway to the woman. He'd close his eyes letting out a sigh and walked forward. His feet stopped beside her while knelt down and slowly pulled something out from his pouch between his index and middle finger. He would slide it under her gaze.
He'd let the card, a bit bent at the edges and faded in text while standing over her and placing a hand in his pockets. "Hey. . .Ma'am." He'd start up while rolling his shoulders. "That's not a very clean expression. Maybe I could offer my services to fix that. . .Amber." He'd murmur while crouching to her side and putting a hand on her back and sighing softly. "Even if you. . .Need some, well, we'll be here as long as you need us." He'd tell her while standing up and sighing a bit, rubbing the back of his head. "Damn, I'm not too good at this sorta thing."
She remained in her crouched position, coming to terms with her new state of being. Even as she heard footsteps approaching, she didn't move. Already, the Android knew who it was and wondered what he was going to say. What she didn't expect was a card to be presented to her. It was his business card; she first laid eyes on it when they were at the tower up north. But...why was he showing her this? It started to make sense after his follow up delivery line. She was confused, though it was evident he was trying to console her in his own way. There was a moment of hesitation before taking the card, unsure if she should. She sat up on her knees and gave it a once over, then looked to the man himself. "I...don't understand. Why are either of you here?" she asked, wiping the streaks of tears from her cheeks. It wasn't as if she were ungrateful for their help back there, after all, she did subconsciously call out to them. "I haven't exactly...been a good friend. Especially to you, Runi… I've done nothing more than drag you into trouble. Even now, you look tired. I'm sorry you haven't been getting any sleep…" she apologized. "I'm grateful for your help. But you're better off forgetting about me."
His eyes locked onto her while she looked at the card. Runi's hands entering his cloak while closing his eyes as she adressed him. The cape would flutter in the slight breeze feeling her look, but refusing to turn back to her. She called out to why him and Pars even came for her. His hand gripped into a fist while he listened to her speak on her troubles. His mouth let out a low groan as he crouched down to eye level with her before opening his dull optics. His finger went up, and plucked the center of her brow. "Don't be foolish." He'd start while crossing his arms under his robes after. "You really think I'm that selfless? You really think I'm a hero trying to save a damsel. . .?" He'd start while standing up tall. "You think I went out of my way, to inconvience myself because it was for some greater cause bullshit?" He'd then look to the side scoffing. "I'm to selfish for that. . .I'm an a*****e. I do things that'll benefit me. I didn't try to save you to be noble." He'd say again. "I did it because . . ." He'd pause. He'd look back to the shack and the hut. It flooded him, the moments they spent together. The times he risked his life. The training and running. The fighting and tears. "I did it because I want my family back. . .The only family I've known. And if I missed a few winks doing it, it was because I chose to, not because I was forced to." He'd turn back to her and pick her up slightly by the shoulder looking down into her eyes. "So. . .If you think of running off again because you're causing me trouble. Then you'll be causing me more trouble, since I'll be hunting you down again, and again. . .Until we're here together again. Me, you, and the big guy. Because I care Amber. . .So. . . Please. . ."
Android 7 half expected him to protest her decision, but she preferred if he chose to accept it. The way he wouldn't make eye contact with her made her wonder if he did. It was what she wanted- no, it was what she felt she deserved. So it did hurt a little, even if she denied it. But then, he got close...and plucked her on the forehead. Maybe it didn't hurt exactly, but it stunned her long enough for her to pay attention to him. His rebuttal had even gone in a completely different direction than her expectations. She wasn't aware he had an ulterior motive to help her or what that motive could have been. Runi never came across as the person he claimed to be to her- or rather, the person she came to know. But he would go on to explain himself after a brief pause. Sev...wasn't aware he felt that way or so strongly about it either. "...Family" she said it herself, her gaze falling to the ground in thought. Before she became an Android, all she had in her life was family- her mom and dad. Friends were hard to come by, but she was never alone as long as she had her parents supporting her. That all changed after her accident... She never saw them again after Cerise took her. Even after she woke up some odd years later, she wondered what became of them but was too afraid to seek the truth. Since her reinstatement in Cerise, that mystery had been solved: they died, living out their lives. They gave donations to Cerise in their "valiant efforts" to save their daughter, none the wiser to what really happened. Unfortunately, they never would...
She thought she deserved to be alone after all of this... Yet here Runi and Pars were and they hadn't given up on her. When she looked into his eyes, she could see how genuine he was with his words. Though their time together was short, they had formed a special bond with one another. Her true friends and her second chance at having a family again. Could she- Should she turn down such an opportunity? ...But...remembering what Cerise did to her, to her family, to her first real friends and to so many others...her path was more than clear. "...Runi, I...If I'm being honest, I...I want that too. More than anything, it's all I ever wanted..." she admitted, finally standing up fully. Then she would look away from him, unable to look him in the eyes any longer. "...But not now. I've tried to put it behind me and I've tried to run away. And every time- they've found a way to drag me back and take everything from me again and again. I realize now...the only way to escape...is to destroy them once and for all. I know it's not fair to ask you to wait a little longer, but if you'll still have me when it's over..." As long as Cerise existed, she would never be free. She would have to fight if she wanted to live her life.
Runi would watch her as she muttered about her family. His hands resting in his cloak a while as his gaze stared to her. She was standing before him and he didn't know what she was thinking. Was she angry at him? Remorsed? Or happy? It was hard to tell but he was in slight anguish as she murmured the word. He felt as though she was going to speak out against it but as she started to talk his mouth let out a soft sigh. The words made his arms clench his elbows while nodding back to Pars, feeling his answer in his heart. He'd shake his head while she asked them to wait for her. "You're completely right. . .It is unfair." He'd start while walking ahead of her and turning around to face her, and catch a view of Pars. "It's not fair that you think so lowly of us." He'd start while tilting his head to the side. "You think that me and Big guy can't handle ourselves. . .I told you we're family . . .The most powerful family in the world." He'd start while his eyes gleamed with the silver of his inner peace. His mouth dipping under his cloak's collar after while continuing. "To hell with them chasing you. . .They can only get but for so far with us here. . .And with us at your back, we're an unstoppable team!" He'd start while moving a thumb from under the cloak and pointing to himself. "And that team will fight tooth and nail by your side to stop them. . .As many times as it takes. So don't run away from us. . .Let us run by your side. I'll be damned if I-. . .We lose you again."
"But…" she tried to protest. She wasn't sure it was the best idea for them to help her. It wasn't that she didn't think they could take care of themselves, she knew that they could. Rather, she wasn't sure what would become of her. Sev wanted to say no, but when she looked into his eyes again, she saw that was not an option. Even when she looked back at Pars, it was clear he was of the same mind. "Well...how can I say no when you put it like that?" the Android would concede. If they wanted to follow this path with her, there was actually very little she could do to stop them. Only time would tell if this was the right choice or not, though she hoped that it was. For a moment she was quiet, thinking to herself what to do next. “I'll explain what we’ll be doing and who we’re up against. But first…” she paused again, looking at the hut. “Android 11… Like me, she’s also been a pawn. She was strong enough to resist them to free me...and I feel, subconsciously, she’s always been looking out for me. I want to save her life and free her too.” Unfortunately, 11’s injuries were pretty severe; she could help her if she had a lab to work in. Although, now that she thought of it, there was such a place they could go. “Pars, can you carry her? I just thought of a place we can go” she asked the big guy. It was a place Runi would be familiar with, a place Sev was certain they could find a lab.
