Dean didn't know what hit him. Literally. One second he was pulling himself off the ground in the training fields, having lost a training spar to a guy who wasn't giving him a second look, and the next, he was smacked by a gigantic tsunami wave.
And then in the third second--fourth?--fifth?--time made no sense now, he was too dazed--Dean found himself belly flopping into the shallows. He was unable to make a sound still, and the waves gently lolled his body too and fro as he just laid there, stunned.

Sam wondered, briefly, if unprecedented large scale events happened this frequently, or if this was a summer sale blowout of pain. Either way, she coughed herself awake near a rock pool, mouth and nose and eyes burning from salt water. Nonetheless, her mind was buzzing almost immediately. How did a tsunami form so quickly? Did that squid have control? Was something else in the ocean watching them?
// Where are we? // Sunsinger whispered, adding to the list.
"I...Hmm." Sam sat up and began to brush the sand off her, scooping up water in the pool to facilitate it. "Not Deus, I think..."

Nora turned her head and flashed a smile. "Cheers~" Unfortunately, yet again the girl's defense was for nought--a tidal wave was simply too much to stand against.
She found herself crawling from the water a short time later, coughing from the salt water that had made its way up her nose. It was much harder to do in armor, even without feeling a little dazed from the slam. But she could feel the sun beating down on her, and with a moan, Nora flopped onto her back and sighed.
And then she began to strip each piece off, one by one.

"Mark," Sherry said again, rolling him over. She started using her sleeve to wipe at the blood on his head, because headwounds were terrible. What if he had a concussion? What if he had hit his head and swallowed a lot of water and WAS dying? How did you know if someone needed CPR? Wait. Sherry should know that. She KNEW that sort of thing. Don't panic, she told herself. Right. Ok. What were the steps again? 1. Check for breathing. Right. Ok. "Don't worry, I've got you," she said. Sherry leaned over real close, trying to hear. The waves made that hard though. "Forgive me," she whispered, before letting her lips brush against his very lightly in an attempt to feel his breath. One, two, three, she counted. If there was nothing, Chest compressions were the next step. Which, were tricky with hunter strength. She didn't fancy breaking ribs.

Sherry almost got a full and satisfactory smooch equal to the one Mark gave Lucky, if the latter hadn't suddenly spasmed halfway and curled into a horrific coughing fit. A few indignant fish escaped from his waterlogged pants.
He looked roughly at Sherry and then managed a thumbs up. "'anks Gale."
He passed out again.

Sherry jumped back and coughed herself, hands unsure of where to be but wanting to pat Mark on the back and help. HE WAS ALIVE. She was so relieved that all else just kind of didn't matter. Until he called her Gale again. Sherry sighed. She could forgive him. And honestly, it was probably better this way. Her CPR instructor would have not approved of her methods. "I'm Sherry," she said, patting at his head wound again. "Okay, come on." Sherry got to her feet, then bent over to pick Mark up, princess style. They were roughly the same height, and she WAS a full hunter. She had this. And she had Mark. She'd make sure he was ok. Zoobey Please assume she is caring for him now. I hope he likes his food delivered.

He remembered Yza screaming to run, he remembered staring up at the wall of water as it moved towards him, and he remembered being tumbled in the ocean. Somewhere along the way, he must have had Yza retreat to her totem form. He could hear her presence, all concern and worry. He started coughing as he came to, and rolled onto his side sputtering salt water onto the sand.
Sand.
Brad slowly sat up, looking around. Several other hunters who had fought the kraken thing were there, clumped together on the shore of the... spit of land they'd washed up on. He shifted and groaned, feet stuck firm in the sand. His damn armor...
Brad began to undo the buckles and ties that held his greaves in place. No sense in wearing armor on sand, for now at least.

"Oh. Um. Thank... you?" Lucky answered back slowly, clearly perplexed. He was not getting the hint, and at no point did his brain equate the term 'man of experience' with his own self. The death hunter adjusted his water-splattered glasses into a less crooked angle while America was busy posing. People he didn't know taking an interest in him never failed to set off a red flag to his rampant paranoia. Maybe she was just being nice because she didn't know any better? He did feel a little responsible for whatever had permanently de-aged her - guilty enough to keep talking, instead of just running away from the conversation and hiding. " America. That's, uh - that's quite a name." He shifted in the sand slightly to glance over at the teenager again, who seemed particularly proud of herself by the way she was sitting. At least one of them was enjoying being on this desolate rock. "Sorry, I don't think we've actually -" "Oh. Oh no." But something about what she said before that suddenly clicked into place, and he sat upright at her leadership insinuation, as if expecting to be under attack again at any moment. "When you say man of experience, you don't - you don't mean Caelius is here... do you?"

"Well that was unexpected." Clyde said once he had managed to remove enough water from his lungs.
They had gone from fighting a very large tentacle beast on the island to being... marooned on some completely different island. He watched the other hunters pick themselves up and he glanced around for a shelter. They had... a couple coconut trees and a cove. Well, they would last... a couple days out here ok. Maybe. That wasn't enough to make a boat though.... Maybe one little canoe with enough determination and the right tools. Clyde did not have the right tools. There were priorities. Like coffee fresh water and food.
"Cove looks like a good enough shelter for now."

What was that? Dawson's voice? Nope. Definitely heard nothing at all. The girl seemed bizarrely pleased that he didn't know her. Any version of her. "Well that's just great, I can tell you all about me! But first let's get you tidy. You're awfully...sandy. If you want I can get that shirt clean as anything!" America startled back a bit as he sat up all suddenly. "No," she giggled, reaching out to push playfully at his shoulder. "I mean you. You're so put together and mature. Just listening to you makes me feel like I just read a whole book. Like, one of the really boring ones? That make you smarter?" A pause and then,"But are super cool and important, too. Anyway, do you need help getting that off?"

One minute there was a giant tentacle monster, the next there was a tsunami. Jason didn't know weather to run or stand his ground, since running seemed pointless. At least he had to sense to not scream, taking a breath as he was submerged. The waters were cold, dark and all encompassing, and he couldn't tell were the surface was.
Eventually his head broke surface, the moon gasping for air. Whelp, he didn't drown for once, that was good. But now he was somewhere that wasn't deus.
< Zanth were we just teleported to Halloween, or... > ' Don't think so, no FEAR in the air, nor do I sense anything strange '
Swimming to the beach, he stood in the shallow water gazing across the island, and wondering what he should do and more importantly, where did his clothes go? At least he still had his boxers on.
< Nice ~ >

Kammy woke to find herself covered in sand, her throat burning from swallowing to much water, and confused to say the least. " The world transition system sucks...." She groaned out something that...almost made sense. < Jenna! Are you ok? > Kazue seemed worried, the fact she blacked out concerning as neither knew what happened in that time. ' I think so. HP is still high ' Eventually she sat up, got to her feet and went looking for Sam. It didn't take long to find her near a rock pool. "Sam! You still got HP?" She asked a similar question, then took a gander at the beach side. "Did we just portal warp without knowing?" medigel She went and found her ouo

Sherry carried her delicate trash prince towards the cove. Shelter from the sun was probably a good thing. Mark would likely need some fresh water, too. Hm. She hoped there was some around. Yes, the cove would do nicely. Sherry very gently put Mark on the floor of the cave, in a nice mossy spot for comfort. Not very far in, of course, but in the shade. She then (without removing her jacket) removed her shirt. One bit was torn off to wipe up any more blood from his head, and the rest was placed under this head for a pillow. Yes, very good. Sherry then sat next to her charge and looked around. Oh, there was Clyde nearby, and a Jason not too far away, either. Moon's were good people, they'd help out. "Clyde, Jason", she said waving at them, "have you seen any water?" phantompanther13 I am assuming she can see him from where she is. poke mattix Also assuming she can see Jason from her spot.

Hearing his name called out, Jason turned around and saw Sherry with Mark. Mark was unconscious, but he couldn't see any glaring injures that needed attending to. "O-oh, water? N-no I haven't but I heard somewhere you could boil seawater and get drinking water?" It wasn't something he was familiar with. "Has anyone tried their phones?" He glanced at the other hunter, a moon by the looks of things, before island itself, thinking. "I c-could try going inland, there might be fresh water there. D-did you wanna come along?" He asked Clyde.

[ ISLAND HP: 497/500 ] Clyde was startled that he was spoken too. But more than happy to help. "Ahhh, I'll find some." if there was any he would find it. Mark was... dead looking. Probably just unconscious. He hoped. Clyde was unfamiliar with the man other than he had been around. He could probably use some water. Clyde searched for his phone and pulled you the waterlogged beast of a flip phone. He glanced it over and opened it. "No service."Clyde was about to follow Jason outside when a familiar tickle reached his ears. "Hang on, I hear something." Clyde cocked his head. "Jason I hear water in here. We don't have to go walking." his survival skills from camping in the great out doors so long had kicked in. He searched for the sound and found a small spring in the wall. Clyde kicked at the spot. "If we could just get this... rock out of the way."Quote: - Fresh water - the cove has spring water. Sometimes it's finnicky so you have to hit the wall for 5 damage - heal 5 HP (can only be used in this RP) Damage to cove: 3Clyde's hp: 7
