Tolly looked across the room to a present but seemingly invisible person; "Hiyro please go and fetch me volume 23 off my shelf of present history."

Hyiro moved of to fetch it as tolly once again sat down.

"Well, Tolly... I knew he was crazy, I mean, Mother certainly spoke of him that way, but it wasn't out of sadness or anything, but fondness. And he also led a Mercenary Unit, right? I know I'm wearing their emblem on my back, but when I talked to Mother about it, she said that 'they are no more' and left it at that. She also gave me one of those 'ask again and I'll smack you silly' looks. Now I knew Mother essentially ran Teir, but he was the figurehead, and I'm sure his diplomacy wasn't that great, she said something about his version of diplomacy was 'screaming incoherently and waving a sword bigger then most men.' And yes, she still has Mishizuri. I wanted to grab it before we parted ways, but she said that I wasn't ready for it, and yes, I've seen it, and yes, I agree with her on that one, thing's too big for me to handle yet. Yeah, I know I'm pushing seven feet, but I agree with her on this one, I'd lose a wing before really learning how to use it. I like my wings." Arkayid went on a very, very familiar tirade, almost similar to what Auren would to.

"Are you sure about that? I mean... It's Mishizuri. Its pretty much a weapon of war, meant to fight our kind. You think that it would really inspire peace? I mean, I can understand the Priestesses' sword surfacing, but for Mishizuri... I don't buy it." Arkayid said. "Now, I will contact Mother, so if you will wait a second..."

Arkayid held out a hand and carved a rune out of energy. The pupils in his eyes went wide, about as far as they could go, then incredibly narrow, then evened out. He stood their for a few seconds, and then broke out of his trance.

"She said she would come, but give her some time. Somethin' about a gift that she should've given you fifteen years ago."

The whole damn thing annoyed him. Toki couldn't find Yami, he couldn't find a freakin guard to ask where the hell she'd gotten off too, and to top it all off Mimi was ramling about the decor and who 'pretty' it was. He was doing his very best not to scream in frustration. And that's when he felt Mimi pull away. He watched her carefully as she ran over and tackled Maikon "MAIKON!" she shouted happilly "I've missed you so much."

Toki rolled his eyes and wandered closer "It's good to see you again Maikon." he managed in the most polite tone he could muster "And who might you be?" he trned his glance to Tairon.

"Toki, or rather that's what everyone has ta ken to calling me. It's good to meet you. I....work here. " he mumbled, trying to hide his displeasure of working there, the feeling even he couldn't figure out.

Mimi grnned "So much has happend since we split up. But that doesn't matter anymore. We're together again, I just knew I would see you again. So he's your brother." Mimi glanced at Tairon "wow."

(typical girl response to seeing an older guy....)

"I'm a mage." he murmured and closed his eyes, it had been song long since he'd spoken his real name, he almost couldn't remember it himself "Hitotoki Hazure." Was that it? He wasn't fully sure, but he didn't let his incompitence show in his tone.

"Yeah we do, and miss. Yami is helping tot ake care of me." she looked up to Tairon, blushing and only managed a stuttered 'Hello' to him. Yes, yes he is very cool.

"Just started working here." he murmured "And please, Toki is more fitting for me." Toki glanced at Mimi "She has been my job for quite some time. A most enjoyable job."

No she is not my child, just one I care for.

Mimi turned almost 1000 shades redder Oh dear.... she thought quietly "Yes, yes it is." She was obviouslly a little taken aback by the fact her fantasy was reuined.
