Another tree. Awful lot of those around here....though he was never sure why. Anyone he asked was usually too busy screaming or dying.
Continuing it's reckless form of offense and defense, the Deino would simply thrash about trying to find his foe. Not that being unable to see them would help them fleeing. Really it'd be easier if they fled. All that noise.
The Smoochum may have thought she was a Delibird, but boy was she not. The rock brought out from under her, she'd smack face first into the nearest hard surface. In regards to his defense, the Golett would simply....stand there. Honestly it had been awhile since his opponent lasted this long, so he wasn't really sure what to do...
Well when in doubt hitting it usually worked. So with a big sparking fist the Golett would bring down the hammer using THUNDER PUNCH! There was probably a downside to all this attacking though...
Starter Pokemon: Golett Name & Level: Umbra, Lv 3 [Temperament] Brave Bio: Shaped from clay and given life centuries ago, this Golett was created with a singular purpose: to serve the people of his homeland. In times of peace that meant simple feats of strength, hauling limber and iron. In times of war...acts far more grim in nature. His last images of a world long lost to the sands of time, were of his comrades and redness of flame. Then....darkness.
When he rose again it was to the shattered ruins of what once was, and the broken forms of other Golett. He wandered the remains of the castle for a time, but departed before long. There was no point in protecting a land which had been forgotten by the ages, and so he went in search of a new "purpose". It was this same search that would lead him to the tunnels beneath Roshan City. A veritable maze, the tunnels see frequent use by smugglers and those of less than legal enterprises. It was here that he encountered Sol, and where he found purpose once more. Dubbed "Umbra" by the boy, he once more found himself with a home and people to serve; but in his ticking "heart" he knew it was only a matter of time before he once more graced the battlefield.
It seemed the Deino's random movements would suddenly catch up to him as a very limp Shadow Sneak attack would stretch and attack the Deino sending him stumbling. Trust would go on the defensive after this attack.
[Honestly..might need some help with this math. It got kind of complicated. XD. First of all! I have a fumble on me already, but does that take into effect after the roll? So since I rolled 2 and Deino rolled 1, the attack takes place? I'm also going to assume that fumble applies to the enemy Pokemon as well aka Deino. So based on all that...the math would be like..
but of course none of this applies if the fumble takes place...before the damage calculation meaning my Ralts 2 would equal a 1, but does that mean the fumble for Deino means he rolled a 0? /has no idea lol)

((Sad to say your calculation is off, though only on the end. For the record Fumble takes place only after the initial roll. Also your roll will never go below 0 because of a Fumble. I DID forget you Fumbled earlier though; but your AM still makes sure it hit. A big thing you missed though is that because Deino is Dark type is resists Ghost-type attacks.))
The Dieno growled as it took the hit. Oh it had taken worse hits than that, what mattered was that it was from something living. Growling louder, the Deino would snap it's jaws, causing them to ignite once more. The downside of the attack was it told him exactly where they were, and with a mouth full of Fire Fang he was going to roast and devour them!
Once again the cutiefly would whizz away leaving the sneasel with a mouth full of cold air. He didn't try and hide this time, though, his mind occupied with confusion over the sneasel's words. "> I, um...p-pretty well? <" his small head tilted ever so slightly. "> Master is a good person! I know he seems strict, b-but, um...he has a really p-pretty aura, it's the same as a hydrangea. U-um., you can't read aura, so it's like...it's like he, um, he tastes good...!<" his lack of social skills was failing him yet again. Not like it mattered, anyway; Altair wouldn't give time for a response, and Deneb's rambling was punctuated by the throw of a second pokeball.
/... your trainer lets you eat him?/ As the Pokeball bounced off the Sneasel's head, he wondered exactly what he was being dragged into... but he wouldn't have much time to think, for the ball would drag him in. Second time was the charm, it seemed!
Without even dusting the snow off ball, Altair promptly let the sneasel loose once again. Only for a split second, however, as he took advantage of his confusion to spray the pokemon madly with his sole potion before trapping him back in his ball. Anyone could see plain as day that the sneasel was thoroughly feral afterall. He'd wait until the time was right to bond with him, but for now he would have to stay put inside his ball.
"Deneb!" his trainers booming voice made the cutiefly stand alert, hairs on end as he looked at Altair. "The stars were aligned in our favor today. We cannot see them now, but they are always watching above us, and today they have blessed us with great fortune. We must show our gratitude properly, and thus..." Altair's eyes closed as he concentrated. His cutiefly waited with bated breath for the announcement, and his trainer promptly delivered. "The bright blue star, Spica! I dedicate my familiar in your honor, as his soul was surely birthed from your feisty core."
Deneb clapped his tiny forefeet together. "> It's a good name, master! Spica, Spica...I hope we get along~ <" and with that the cutiefly buzzed on over to Altair, the boy lifting the collar of his coat to allow his partner in. Tucking the pokeball into his bag, Altair trudged on forward and further down the mountain.

Trafalgar Vince Olympius X Mood: Careful Battle Information: Fumble, -1 to rolls
A really hot attacked illuminated the forest and to Trafalgar's horror, landed on Trust. This was a nightmare. Their attack had allowed the Deino to land an attack back! Trust wasn't looking good. She needed to be healed. Trafalgar had to use a potion! He pulled out his potion from his paper bag and used it on his partner, Trust.
[Okay! Sorry, forgot about the resistance among my confusion. XD (12(-1) -1) + (9-7) 10 + 2 = 12 DMG to Trust! Trust is at 3/15 HP!
You said a fumble will never make a roll go below 0, so I'm confused if it would equal 0, I first read it as a fumble would never make a roll equal 0, meaning it could never go less than one. But then I thought..maybe..it can be 0 just not negative numbers? lol, if a fumble will make your roll equal 0 then the above damage taken would be 13 instead of 12.
Also, what would Deino's capture rate be right now?
A round little Swinub ambled across the path, nose buried deep below the snow. How he could see where he was going, between that and his closed eye, no one might ever now. Still, he was quite determinedly plowing along, led by his nose. He'd find those mushrooms someday! Indeed, so focused on his quest he was that he didn't even notice Altair. The young witch was safe for a while.

Nim felt her breathing getting easier. Was she getting closer to the foot of the mountain? The path beneath her feet felt like it might be getting less steep, but it could have just been her imagination. Either way, as much as she would have liked to, there was no turning around... not now. She just needed to find a worker and get out of here...

Starter Pokemon: Mimikyu [F] Name & Level: Eins, Level 3 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Eins spent most of her pre-capture time haunting a candy store and sneaking free lollipops into the pockets of screaming children. She'd have been content to stay that way but for the will of the cult. Indeed, she was actually caught by Nim's sponsor, and given to the girl in an attempt to give her a step up when it came to fighting. The sponsor also has a slightly better sense of humor than Nim-- giving a Mimikyu a Mimikyu! No one could count on Nim's dislike of Pokémon being quite as... intense as it was, for the girl can barely stand to look at her starter. Nim couldn't even name the creature properly, just giving it a number for a name. For her part, Eins isn't too fussed; humans are strange, and she'll melt her trainer's heart one way or another... possibly by giving it a heart attack, but still. Stats: HP:17/17/PP:18/ATK:12/DEF:9/SPD:11/SP-ATK:8/SP-DEF:12 - Icicle Cra - X-Scissor - Copycat - Curse EXP: 72/100 Pokemon held items: N/A

The Smoochum quacked loudly, flailing her flippers in the air. He was getting rid of her tanning chair! The fiend! Well, if he was going to try and surprise her, maybe she should try and surprise him... instead of trying to dodge, she started flapping her her flippers harder and harder... maybe she could take off and keep from falling in pain? Wouldn't THAT be Astonish-ing?
Onyxia looked at her friend, if this kept up she would have to run. Ordo couldn't afford to miss and they both knew it. "Fire Spin Ordo." This was their real last chance before needing to flee. She couldn't bare her friend and partner hurt. She watched as Ordo attempted the move once more. She was scared for once, if it didn't work they could be screwed until they caught a new friend.

The girl looked out the door as they approached her destination, she gave the 3 a quick look before opening the door and jumping out as if in a hurry to get away from them as fast as physically possible. (Let's make this quick.)
If Isuzu was to receive credit for anything, it was that she was the very first student crazy enough to jump out of the perfectly functional Helicopter instead of being pushed. The Fearow actually looked a little disappointed.
Either way it wasn't a long drop. Certainly not enough to break anything at least. Like many students before her, the young girl would find herself face planting in a snow drift. With the strangely high influx of trainers here, one could see quite a few imprints yet to be filled in by the snow; but something was different here. Clouds began to gather, and before the word Hail could form, great chunks of ice would begin falling from the sky.
It would seem Isuzu had landed on Everlast Summit, and it was to be a harsh adventure!
