Somehow Misha managed to smile despite making short work of her pizza. She ate fast but neat and he couldn't help but notice there was a bit of delicacy to the movements. Even if she was just eating deliciously greasy pizza. "Food Network, huh? That's such a fun channel. Probably one of the ones I missed most when I gave up cable," she admitted. "When I visit my parents, I watch that and HGTV a lot. Luckily, my mom likes those, too."

Her eyes danced with mischief. "Something about a man with a frying pan or a man with a hammer. It's primal."

Brian laughed through his nose and shook his head. His expression clearly said that he was amused and fond, though, not honestly disdainful.

"Well I can handle both, but I only know how to use one," he admitted. Food wasn't his thing, and he hadn't been especially curious about the kitchen as a youngster. He'd moved out and never really learned how to cook. Hammering, though, he could do. ...Ha! He rolled his eyes and shook his head at himself then. "Anyway," he said, as if his mental lapse had been somehow obvious to Misha and interrupted the conversation, "I don't watch much TV at the Prytaneum, I--" He paused more noticeably this time.

"You know, they say that men like women with red nails and lips because it reminds them of blood? I'm not sure how real that one is, but it's certainly something."

She had been about to ask which he knew how to use when his comment about red lips and nails made her pause. Misha tilted her head dto one side and considered him with lifted brow. Just what was that supposed to mean? After all, she frequently wore red lipstick and, while her mancure was sadly lacking in the professional side of things, she liked red nail polish well enough when it matched. Halloween. She had worn her most amazingly red lipstick that night.

The thoughts passed through her mind in a split second.

"Sooo... How do you feel about red lips and nails, Handsome?"

"Oh, no," Brian said, "That's not how this works." He was amused, though, and when he lifted a finger to waggle it he was still smiling. Of course he knew this was exactly how it worked when it came to girl talk. things came up at random and led to other things. His sisters tried it on him now and again, and family was everything, right? He usually folded.

"This isn't about my taste in makeup."

She smirked. "You're the one who brought up make-up."

Brian sighed, still smiling.

"I've been known to enjoy a classic red lip, yes," he admitted with a chuckle. "I don't pay a whole lot of attention to nails." Not outside of professional interest, anyway. Maybe it was a failing on his part. "But you like, what? Hammers? Blunt force? Hold on, let me take notes."

He reached into his pocket for a notepad he clearly didn't have and just fell back against the couch with a s**t-eating grin. That was how it worked, right? Tit for tat. Sure, he hadn't out-rightly asked her what she really liked in men but it was pretty obvious, right?

Misha finished her pizza and moved to take a very deliberate sip of her beer. All the while, she kept a sideways eye on her friend. He was being a jerk, she realized with amusement. He was deliberately teasing her... And it was kind of adorable. However, he would never be allowed to know that. It would inflate his ego.

She allowed a little smile to twitch the corners of her mouth as she leaned forward to set down her bottle on the coffee table. "What do I like?" she repeated. She hummed a bit as if thinking. Then she slid back on the couch and turned to face him, tucking one leg up beneath her.
"I like a man who knows who to use his hands," she murmured, voice dropping lower as she went on, "so hammers or frying pans, both are good. So are other hands-on talents."

Brian nodded while a deep, thoughtful frown creased his face. A hands woman! Alright, that wasn't so weird. A part of him had been expecting some kind of smart-a** remark in return, but he did believe her. She was obviously teasing him back, but yes, he felt that it was at least moderately honest.

"And about six foot? Brown hair, gray eyes, killer biceps?" he teased back. He flexed while he brought his pizza to his lips, watching Misha out of the corner of his eye.

"I do have a history of falling for tall guys, yep." She reached out with one small hand and let it snake over his flexing bicep. Then she leaned in smoothly and dotted a line of kisses along the edge of his t-shirt sleeve. She drew back with another wicked little smirk. "And what girl can say no to sexy-strong arms?"

Brian laughed and watched her worship his arm a little. It actually felt pretty nice, but he knew it wasn't in his usual repetoire to like that sort of thing. This was Misha, though, and it had been a long time since anyone had paid him that sort of attention, even teasingly.

"You're terrible," he said, and relaxed his arm to continue with his pizza. He hadn't realized that he was keeping it flexed. For Misha, maybe? He'd bet she liked a man with a bit of an edge, and he was pretty sure he didn't have one of those!

"And you must like it because you keep hanging out with me." The smirk melted into a very self-satisfied grin. She sat back and watched him turn his attention to his pizza. Then she thought about how turn-about was fair play, after all. "So what else do you like?"

She rather hoped he would answer honestly. She was suddenly very curious.

"Of course!" he chimed, that same grin plastered over his features. He tilted his head then and considered her question. He had a Type, sure. Everyone did. His Type had just evolved over time to be more internal than external, which wasn't to say he didn't notice an attractive woman.

"Physically?" That was kind of the track they were on at the moment, after all.

"We can start there, sure." Misha gave him an encouraging wink. Then she reached for her beer and took a sip. It was like Truth or Dare without the dare.

Brian shrugged again.

"Dark hair. Nice eyes. Height and weight don't really matter, but I admit I like a girl with curves." He picked his beer up off the table and took a sip while he thought further. He had dated a lot of blondes. Huh. A brow quirked and then relaxed. "Fashion sense, I guess." Not that he didn't like a girl in a t-shirt and half-done hair. "Maybe not so much."

Misha could not help the slow smile that crossed her face at his words. Dark hair, huh? Curves? She forced herself to say nothing but instead took another sip of her beer. "So you have a Type but you're not completely blind to other options. Smart man. You never know when chemistry will hit... Or a pair of great biceps and a cute smile."
