"You're just saying because my breast is visible." She teased before he greeted Sharla, whom she was very grateful to have nearby. "Sharla has been a wonderful help my love, she taught me how to change our little Leon and had told me the best way to hold Arthur while he's eating. I'm happy she's here and am eager to learn the next thing that comes along." She said, making sure the dear woman could hear every word while she was puttering about. "Oh you never did say why you came all the way here though. I mean you could have easily sent a letter for Aldon with her."

 Old age is not so bad when you consider the alternatives.
~Maurice Chevalier~ Shala greeted the prince with a respectful nod of her head. " Good morning, young man." The elderly woman circled around the chair and continued her little efforts to keep the room tidy. Little things, continually done, meant that no great effort was spent in keeping things in order. Long story short, little work now, little work later. Much better than worrying about it later, when one might trip over something in the middle of the night. No one mentioned how many royal heads were busted because they refused to clean their rooms. At the compliment, the dear woman in question smiled proudly. One suspected that she was very grateful to be so highly regarded by the princess, and this for just doing her job. She knew she liked the girl and that she would continue to enjoy her company for many years more. " Thank you, dear." Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age.
Nothing does - except wrinkles. It's true, some wines improve with age.
But only if the grapes were good in the first place.

A shock that she would say such a thing but still there was an amused smile as his heart beats a little faster. "My love, not in front of company." Goodness, he felt like a child himself for being so embarrassed but was in good spirits. His love wasn't just sexy but funny and kind at heart. How did he get so lucky to have found a princess like her. Roland then clears his throat, Sharla having thanked the princess for her words of praise, and then he'd explain things for his babe. "If I had sent Sharla with just a letter of my words it wouldn't have been heartfelt like this is." A stolen quick kiss upon her lips would also let her know how much he wanted to see her too. "The reason I'm her now though is to also say my goodbyesbefore heading back to Bellris."

Naturally she was about to remark on his comment about his visit being heartfelt, but he had stolen a kiss before she even had the chance. Of course she easily returned it before he broke off to speak once more, this time causing her to bite her lip as she always did. "So you won't be staying much longer then?" She whispered in a saddened tone. "I had hoped that your visit would last long enough to one again walk the grounds a little, but I suppose you are needed in Bellris and so it's only right that you return with haste." She said with a small smile as she looked down at her boy, trying to hide her disappointment a bit. "Promise me that you will visit again though... And perhaps at that time we will finally be able to marry."

The mother of his children was putting up a tough front but her voice and words said it all. How could he leave her now that she wanted him by her side so much. In truth he didn't want to spend a moment away with her...so he screw his duties for now, because he has a family to attend to; His wife in need and he in need of her romance as well. The slip of his hand under her chin so that she would gaze into his silent eyes before he'd give her a pashionate kiss on her cheek. He wasn't able to leave her just yet, and when he broke away from her cheek he had hoped his smile would say it all; But just in case. "Athena, lets take that walk before I must leave."

"I'd like that very much, but what about your business in Bellris? I dont want to be trouble for you, and I'm not sure Sharla will allow me to walk very far just yet." She murmured while looking over the dear woman. Naturally her son finished eating and began to fuss a bit causing her to look at the nursemaid for help. Of course she made sure to cover herself back up at the same time. "Perhaps we will be alright to walk around the room a little. Is your business terribly important my love? I truly dont wish to be any trouble."

~Maurice Chevalier~ Sensing her cue, Sharla shifted the cloth she was working with onto her shoulder and shuffled over to the princess' side. With a few gentle coos, she would lift the boy into her arms and began to gently pat on his back. It would free the mother's arms long enough to put herself together. There was time yet to teach her highness about the importance of burping a baby. While she did this, rocking with some semblance of practiced grace on her feet and heels, she shuffled closer to the prince and nudged him with her free shoulder. " Now's your chance~ And don't keep her waiting too long or you'll be old and depressed about it for years after." If one looked at her, they would see the serious tone come from the face of a smiling woman. A smile a bit too wide.... What was the grandma really thinking about? " Beautiful day, no?" Prince Roland Leoharz Bellris As Athena play excuses Sharla swiftly shot one of them down. It was a good day, and the older woman wasn't telling the princess she couldn't go outside. "It's my duty to take care of republic but it's also my duty to take care of you." A simple statement given to his woman but very true with its weight and love. "How can I call myself a man if I uphold one duty but fail in the other? So I simply will never fail, and hold my head with pride as I please by my republic and my woman." With a hand extended to his woman he offers to help her up and hopes she will take the hint that her man is here to stay by her side for the time being.

"Soon you will have the duties of a husband on top of those you have as a father and those to the republic. I only hope that you will allow me to help you as needed once we are wed, after all a wife and mother is there for her family. Honestly my love, I think your father would be very proud of you right now, as well as your sisters." She murmured with a small smile. When he held his hand out to her and spoke once more, she couldn't help looking to the dear elder woman as if making sure it was alright for her to be waking about so soon have childbirth. Of course she soon afterwards looked back to her beloved and took hold of his hand. "You couldn't fail me if you tried my love. I have faith that you will do wonders for your republic and be a marvellous father to our children. I do however make this selfish request, please walk slowly and don't disappear on me... I couldn't bare loosing you." She said while pulling him to herself a little, fully intending on giving him a proper kiss.

~Maurice Chevalier~ Sharla smiled at the princess and nodded, giving her permission to walk about. Some people might have felt no woman could reasonably go out so soon after childbirth, but that was just silly. Sure, many stayed inside because they had infants to take care of and who required more attentive care, but that was what this nurse was for. The curious miracle of birth was that once it was over, health and vitality more often than not returned to the mother very quickly. Besides, nothing was better than continued and encouraged recovery than a walk in the sun, especially when such a walk was on the arm of the handsome love of her life. A grandma knew these things. She was the wonderful owner of a refined woman's instinct. Many, many years of practice. She was quite tickled to hear the honest and romantic words of the young prince, though. It was prone to send even her into swooning and remembering the days she spent with her late husband. (May he rest in peace.) Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age.

While it was easy to sail in command of your own ship it was also easy to make love for a night and bring about life in the heat of that hearth. What did worry him was the fact he didn't want to ever fail his children or the woman he wants to spend his eternity with...but her words soother him like love notes song by a muse; A tiny glint from the thoughts of his sister and father whom he wishes could have seen how happy he was with his lover and children. Athena asked that he be slow with her while walking and to not suddenly disappear to which their kiss was the seal to their deal and his heart all in. He wanted to spend as much one on one time with his love before he goes for he never knows when life will permit another chance like this. When their lips part there was a lingering need to do more lust filled things with the mother of his children but with someone else in the room it was quite easy to behave himself. "Miss Sharla, would you mind keeping an eye on little Arther & Leon for us while Athena and I share a walk in the garden?"

"It should only be a short walk my love, for I dont think I'll be up for a long one. If I go to far you may need to carry me back to bed." She murmured with a small smile, bracing herself slightly againt the bed post just to regain her balance. "I'm sorry to trouble you Sharla, but please look after the boys. I dont wish to place them in harms way." She cooed, hoping the elder woman wouldnt be too put out by the request. Granted she was a nursemaid, so such a request shouldnt be too odd, right?

It was something she had been expecting since she helped to encourage the suggestion. All the same, she was happy and relieved to see that both of the parents were thinking of the safety of their children. " Don't you worry about a thing." She smiled encouragingly and continued rocking the little one that was still in her arms. Seemed like the lad, now that he was fed, was quite ready to sleep again. His brother was almost snoring in his crib. " You go enjoy your walk and we'll be here when you get back. Only walk as much as you want, and don't worry if you feel tired. You just need time to get used to moving so much. And you..." She turned her eyes to Roland, while still smiling, and now to give him instructions.
