Clumsily making it to the end of the room, the farm troll was more than happy to be off those Gog forsaken beams. He was less happy though, to see his brief acquaintance down and tuckered out. "Howdy," he said, kneeling down. He seemed a little awkward for a moment, but managed to push that aside as he fished something out of his pocket. "Sorry 'bout before. Didn't mean fer it ta be a big thing. Guess I ain't too hot at thinkin' on my feet," he gave a nervous chuckle. "Here, this should help ya out," the redblood took the little trinket he got in the mail, he thought it might come in handy at a big construction site. He pressed the bauble against the guy's neck and pressed the button. "Feeling any better?" he asked cautiously.

"Thank you, Eostre," Vulpin was genuine in their gratitude. "If only I could return the favor," they said, mostly out of politeness. Perhaps they'd get more done as a lone howlbeast, anyways. Now that they were reenergized, they felt like nothing was stopping them from making it to the core and collecting a righteous reward.
"Take care of yourself," Vulpin said to Eostre, almost insisting that she rest. With a soft hum of a laugh, they turned on their heels and made their way across the chasm, swinging on the hanging lights like it was a simple acrobatics trick they had done many times before. The lights of course were incredibly painful to the touch, but through gloves Vulpin could manage the pain.
Gnash walked along with the group, too nervous to really mingle, but she saw the yellowblood shooting her looks. Was she mad at her...? She waved awkwardly, hoping she was misreading the situation. Lowbloods aren't dangerous, she reminded herself. When they came across the catwalk, Angel rushed ahead, leaving Gnash on the other side. One of the lights swung toward her, and she heard the distant cry. Shiny was probably another weird nickname for her, right? Either way, she didn't want to stand there stupidly. She reached out toward the lamps, ready to swing on them like she'd watched some of the other trolls do. Her fingers slipped, and she crashed onto the beams.
Suddenly, she fell through her foothold, her legs caught in the platforming. She couldn't pull herself out and her legs were now ripped up, stinging and bleeding purple. "Help! Someone come over here and please get me out of here!" she cried, her lusus already across and unable (or merely unwilling?) to assist, and most of the team she was travelling with also on the other side already. Use your arms, Natash. Pull yourself, don't rely on the unlikely kindness of a pitiable lowblood. Don't be weak.
"No no no no!!" Her voice jumped from screaming to screeching as the panic built up, her lusus' cold eyes staring at her. "Don't leave me!"
Natash dealt 3 damage to the Defense AI. She is going UP!

No Voscil. Reemus waited after fixing the wall, making it open and everything! But he hadn't seen her. Now he couldn't help but worry. Where could she have gone? It hadn't been that long...maybe she went to the bathroom.
He sat, catching his breath in the meantime. Whatever they had to get, he would get to soon.
Someone started calling out, though, and soon they were near him. He looked up, seeing the redblood from before kneel. Not his 'red' blood though. Hrmm.
"I don' always think before I do stuff too," he eventually admitted, though still kind of huffy. Reemus wasn't sure how to feel about the thing touching his neck. It was cold, but he started feeling a little better anyway. Like he could move more before having to wait for Vos again. She was fast. She would be okay.
"Yeh." Reemus stood up with a grunt. "Thanks." With a hard clap on Fellah's shoulder, Reemus moved on.

Psykgi took a deep breath. She wasn't particularly afraid of heights, but she was also not fond of them either. But here it was, a catwalk in between her and the next part of the labrinth. Best... to get that over with quickly.
So she did. She ran as fast as she could, feeling the thrill of danger so close at hand. If she fell, she could easily die, and she was going so fast! She took a leap of faith over a gap in the scaffolding and reached the other side in an almost picture-perfect landing.
Damn! She thought to herself, pleased. She was definitely telling Leeroi about this later.
A cry of distress caught her interest, in the quiet of her little victory, and - feeling magnanimous - she looked to see who it was... Oh! It was Gnash! On a limb, as it were. "Hey there!" She geeted cheerily. She walked out onto the catwalk a little, carefully, laughing internally at the danger she had so recently passed. She offered her the handle of her axe for leverage. "Looks like you can use a little help!" With that, the kid could get herself out of this mess, and... well... maybe they could resume the whole mental health exploration thing later on.
If you rolled a 4, you loose a few winged squeakbeasts! They descend upon you in droves. Take 4 dmg and deal +2 damage. Austri dealt 4 damage. Austri is moving UP.
A cat walk... Austri could feel her eyes sparkle at the mere sight of one, body vibrating eagerly even if the thing looked dangerous. She could take it, and hey, so could they, she was sure. She began to shuffle toward the other side, striking a pose at her friends and doing some ridiculous pose on a high jump-- before she went too high, and...
Something was up there. Austri panicked. But before she could fully land, she was suddenly being swarmed. A scream tore her throat, and Austri wondered if that those squeak beasts did it to mess up her strutting.
Flydra heals Purple Diamond (Lorata) with novice artifact style a for half of her health
"That looks like a nasty cut." Flydra cooed to Lorata once the sirens had regrouped. The seadweller had gone through the boards of the catwalk and her long legs looked scuffed up and painful. This would not do, the tealblood thought, Lorata's beautiful appearance and overall health needed to be pristine. Pulling her first aid kit out of her bag, the young scientist got to work cleaning the cut.
"I know, it hurts but I don't want you getting infected. I'm sorry, gorgeous." The older girl put on a brave face but Flydra knew that the disinfecting solution stung like a b***h. She glanced to Scorpa and Austri to keep a blockade going so no one other than the three sirens would see their poor leader vulnerable and in pain. They had to keep a fierce and tough appearance after all! They were the Civisect Sirens!

Psykgi heals Eostre for 10 damage
As Psykgi - and the rest of the group - continued onwards, she noticed an unfamiliar troll (more or less unfamiliar? Hmm) resting by the wall of the hallway. Part of another group? Someone who had gotten a little down-and-out on their luck? Either way, she was an attractive purpleblood and clearly had taken a beating.
Time to be a helpful lowblood!
"Hello there!" she said cheerfully, though admittedly the situation had her feeling a little strained and worn down herself. She offered the medical device, needle first. "You look like you could use a little boost!" she set the controls. "Just poke yourself with the needle end there, and you'll be back up in no time!"
There. That made a great first impression, and it would get another relatively able-bodied and willing troll back into the game; a win-win situation in Psykgi's mind, for herself personally and for the collective. "Psykgi Mentha, by the way. she said, offering her name in addition to the restorative drugs.
Eostre thanked the friendly redblood who came by and offered her help to patch up her wounds. She felt much better now, and able to make it across the catwalks. She had to catch up with Vixeni. She cracked her knuckles, and thought about how she'd get across.
She decided to just try and sprint it. The fastest way cross. Her feet hit the bars and no sooner had she done so, than did the boards crumble under her feet. She went careening, falling down to the level below. She grabbed at the wires, hanging material, anything she could to slow her descent and decrease the pain. It still hurt when she landed, but she was alive. Barely. She groaned and made her way back across....
Eostre dealt 6 damage to the Defense AI She is going UP!
Freshly invigorated, Vulpin unsheathed their daggers to deliver some more damage to the already crumbling facility. Running as fast as their boots could carry them, they dragged their knife through the wired walls, ripping up the interior with a clean sweep. It was just enough damage to flicker off the lights around them.
Certainly, they should have anticipated this. And had anyone asked, they would have responded as if it was intentional. But they were on their own, and they simply grumbled as they made their way through the dimly lit shaft, their vision already obscured by the goggles they refused to remove.
She tried to destroy some more cameras, but the AI moved them just out of reach. Frustrated, she kicked the corridor walls. What a useless AI. What a horrible building. She couldn't wait to find out who was causing this ruckus and punch them. Terrorists, or rebels, or whatever. They couldn't take her on.
Vulpin flinged a dagger at one of the security cameras, the clean hit resulting in a lot electric pop as the metal penetrated the glass. Smirking to themself, they decided leaving the dagger in its place would probably be the best idea, otherwise they might risk a shock. And in their precarious, lonely position, that probably wasn't a good idea.
Besides, if they made it to the core before the other trolls, they could surely claim some kind of reward and buy themself a new, beautiful set of knifes. After all of the hassle this excursion had produced, they at least deserved that much from the Civisect counsel.

Boss Attack
You emerge in a dark open hallway. Upon closer inspection, you're able to see very faint traces of lasers flickering to and fro. That seems... Safe.
If you rolled a 1, you attempt to army crawl under a laser, and a grid descends on your body. It roasts you like a beefdog, grill lines and all. Take 5 dmg.
If you rolled a 2, you decide to run straight through in the hopes that "it won't be so bad". It very much is, and at the end of the line your burns will very much linger. Take 3 damage, and 1 damage each roll until a support power is used on you.
If you rolled a 3, you play a game of double dutch with a slowly moving laser, slipping up just enough to end up with criss-cross burns on your arms and shoulders. Take 4 damage.
If you rolled a 4, a quick assessment of the lasers gives you an idea of how to proceed. Unfortunately emergency protocols in the hallway mean that the more time you take thinking, the more lasers pop up. You're not able to avoid much of the damage. Take 4 dmg and deal +1 damage. so If you rolled a 5, you are able to identify some of the sensitive projectors that are causing the deadly beams to function! While passing through you give your teammates a morale boost by easing their path. Take 4 damage and deal double damage.
If you rolled a 6, a few athletic rolls and careful blows to the laser projectors causes your transit to be easier than the average troll. Take 2 dmg. Your attack does double damage.
Chiara is attacking Half-constructed Tower and Going Down If you rolled a 2, you decide to run straight through in the hopes that "it won't be so bad". It very much is, and at the end of the line your burns will very much linger. Take 3 damage, and 1 damage each roll until a support power is used on you. Hp:9/20 Damage Dealt: (+1) 5 Artifact Support A 0/1 Second Wind 1/1 you roll 1d4, if you get a 1 or a 4, you get half health back
Chiara had the grin plastered to her face. It was starting to feel heavy. That never happened, the mask was natural, the mask was her life. There was no time for feelings and exhaustion. Her stride didn't slow, even as the bruises started to turn into bright blue blotches. The burn marks on her arms stung, the hot air of the building, what with all its moving rushed trolls, machines busy and whirling, not helping one ounce. It didn't matter who else was there, she could barely tell if she had company. There was a goal on Chiara's mind, she could hear nothing else.
More lasers. Eostre took a deep breath. Remember to breathe. Remember to focus, pay attention to what's in front of you. She rolled forward, avoiding the lasers and taking the time to kick a few projectors, smashing them and destroying the source of the lasers. It gave her an easier path to follow, with fewer lasers and less damage taken. Take that, you idiotic AI! She slipped right through like the little hopbeast she was, on the other side of the trap basically unharmed. She grinned. Hopefully Vix had an easy time getting by too, because she didn't want to have to rescue them again.
Eostre dealt 6 damage to the Defense AI She is going RIGHT!
