The bar, yes. Good. Chel was given a thankful look, before he looped his arm through hers, however temporarily.

"Sorry, man, but I'm stealing your date for the night. You just go...be the best darn detective you can be!" He gave a little arm jig, and smirked, his voice oozing with false positivity.

A long up and down glance was given to Juniper as Chel spoke, as if he were only just taking in her revealing outfit at that very moment (when in fact he'd been looking the whole time, though his face had remained passive and uninterested).

"She's a total b***h." Connor said of Juniper, while continuing to look her over, and then met her eyes. "But with an a** like that, I guess she can get away with it. Stick with us, sweetheart, maybe we can turn this shitfest into a good ******** time." He smiled, his eyes speaking volumes towards his insinuation, and then turned to head into the party proper with Chel.

Lily Babineaux: 25/25 - Entering the ivory hall

"And Wil," Lily hummed in approval, reaching up to pat him on one silken shoulder. It was then that she turned back to face Nathaniel, reaching for his hand once more. He really was handling this all gracefully, way better than she had on first encounters. Maybe he hadn't quite absorbed it all yet.

"Everyone, this is Nathaniel," she said, moving to one side to highlight her date. "He's my...math tutor," she paused, unsure at first how to phrase a relationship that was almost strictly professional. "But yeah, he's awesome. Unfairly smart. It's unreal."

She wasn't surprised to hear that Nathaniel knew Nasir--most people did. But she wanted to give him a more solid foundation of 'people that were safe', just in case they got separated for any reason. "You know Nasir, this is Wil, Cottonball is Jamie, Mom is Eve and Eve has her waifu, also known as Mom 2: Return of the Moms." She hadn't been formally introduced to Leila, but she'd heard enough here and there to make the connection. "Basically anyone you see here with slight wolfman syndrome is part of the Pack, they're good people, can do pretty much the same stuff I can." She made no mention of Ashton, who also had those distinctive ears and teeth.

"I think I'm going to try and get my exploring on," Lily added, glancing back at the vague direction of the opening gates. "Stop a murder, you know, basic party games. Have fun, guys."

"Nathaniel?" Nasir blinked in surprise, not quite expecting the other young man to be here but, well. Neither was he. "It's good to see you and Wil's right, you all look great ..."

Of course there may have been a red to his cheeks that was hidden by his veil because of that side-look he knew he was getting from the blonde but that was beside the point. Nasir waved towards Eve and her wife, as well as the other moonwalker that was there (he did not, as of yet, know Jamie).

Everyone was heading inside it seemed and his warm smile was, at least visible, even if his eyes and face weren't. Nasir paused and bit his lip. "Nathaniel helped me with those flower crowns I came home with a little while back." Mostly for Wil than anything else. Hearing math tutor had him smiling a little more, just because he remembered helping Lily some during her freshmen year.

Eve and Leila were both given a warm smile, only spared hugs because he did not want to stumble over the fabric of his outfit (also heels). His hand tugged on Wil's and tilted towards going inside. "I guess we go in? Mingle? Do the thing?"

The stop a murder thing? The just hang out thing? It was some kind of thing, Nasir was sure, but Wil was with him and there were others here that were family and that meant it would be fine.

Diana Vyn - Speaking to Chester/Heading to Scarlet Foyer

A lot was happening in a short amount of time, talking cats and all sorts of other strange things. She wasn't exactly sure what was real and what wasn't, all she really knew is it was a bit overwhelming. At least she had her companion with her and she swore she spotted a familiar lady up ahead. She just had to get inside was all.

"Alright, Chester dear, I figure with everyone going inside we may as well follow the crowd and figure out just what's going on. I think I even spotted a friend if you're willing to hang with the cool kids," Diana joked, looping her arm through Chester's. "You just relax and don't worry about a thing."
