Tent Maker Amount of tents the group has made: 5  As she got it back up, she saw what she had missed previously, and managed to get the tent finished this time. "Well what do you know! I actually succeeded! I was thinking I'd be working on this same one all night!" She laughed at herself, and grinned at Xerxes, a warm and friendly smile. "And oh? You've camped before? That's really cool! I should camp more, I think. Well maybe..." She paused, looked thoughtful, and added "Let's see how I feel after this. Maybe I'll discover it's not my thing." She listened to what he had to say about his goals, and his question, and nodded. "One sec!"
She ran over, grabbed the next set up, and moved to where she could build on the other side of the one he was working on now. "So I'm not totally sure... Breeder is a maybe. I dunno about vet, I don't want to hurt them. And yeah, I know it's 'hurt to heal' but... It might be something I couldn't handle, ya know?" She looked a little distressed. "It's hard enough for me when I have to remove a thorn from one of their paws, when they're upset and hurting over it. But I've thought of maybe running a rescue for abandoned familiars... Or something like that. I'm not totally sure."

Nadi headed back into the forest, ducking under a low branch, whistling to herself. She spotted a decently sized log that even looked quite dry. She smiled to herself. She figured she was just strong enough to drag it back to the camp without any help.
She grabbed a hold of one of it's remaining branches and gave it a firm tug. It moved slightly. ... Perhaps this was going to be more work that she had thought!

Wood Collector Amount of wood the group has: 140  Bridgette kept going back into the woods an she saw something that looked like some broken pieces of branches. Maybe they had fallen off from the wind? Or maybe it could have been something big that knocked it down? She wasn't really sure. The wood could also have rotten so she carefully picked out pieces she thought would be good and carried them back to the pile. She dropped hel into the increasing pile happy to see how big it was getting.OOC Welcome to any interactions or Rp just quote if you want to.

Tent Maker Amount of tents the group has made: 5 Xerxes began working on his second tent. This time, though, he was having a bit of trouble. It seemed to be a slightly different setup than the other one — and one that he was not used to. He listened to Niamh talk, explaining why she would probably not go the route of a vet — and he couldn’t blame her. Xer wasn’t sure he could handle having to stitch up another being or not. He got so involved with talking to her, that his attention was distracted just enough that his fingers slipped on one of the poles and got caught in the bend, pinching them. He yelped, biting on his tongue to hold back a curse as he jerked his hand away. “That hurt,” Xer mumbled as he brought the injured finger up this mouth and sucked on it — an old habit of his when he hurt his fingers. Grumbling, he turned his attention to Niamh, trying to distract himself from the sting in his finger. “I understand that,” he said. “I think it would be hard to care for abandoned familiars. You never know what kind of environment they come from. But I understand that want and need to care for them. I...don’t actually have a familiar of my own, though.”

Wood Collector Amount of wood the group has: 147  Aurora stopped by the firey looking hybrid and asked "Would you like to search for wood with me??" He tone was rather cheerful and polite. She hoped the gesit grimm would want to go with her, but if she didn't Aurora could still go by herself or go see if someone else wanted to go with her.

Tent Maker Amount of tents the group has made: 5 Harley was still having no luck. Tents were soon popping up all around her. She needed to be helpful to the group. if not... Then why was she there? She already felt like she should have stayed back at the dorm. But she was going to persist with her crummy tent making.

Tent Maker
Amount of tents the group has made: 6  Bibiana stared hard at the tent instructions after her first attempt turned out not so good. After a couple minutes, she turned the instructions and realized she had been looking at it all wrong. Literally. She giggled at her silliness and peered at the paper again before starting to put pieces together. Things seemed to be going better this time around.
It took her a long time, but finally she was able step back and view her progress. When the tent stood on its own and didn't collapse after a few minutes, she clapped and giggled happily. "Whoo hoo!" she cheered. She couldn't wait to tell Ghester she'd managed to put a tent together.((Anyone can talk to Bibi while they make tents! She's super friendly and LOVES meeting new Nightmares :3))

Azure was getting bored with searching for wood, he had depleted the rubble he had found with now only two pieces of wood left in the rubble. he collected what he found and headed back towards the camp, unable to find any more wood he thought he would have better luck next time. while back at camp he took the time to make sure he had all his things, he had nearly forgotten he left his bag by the bus so he went to get it, he put it off to the side by where he was searching before returning to gathering wood. he wondered to himself if he would actually see something creepy.

Tent Maker Amount of tents the group has made: 6 Sorting out her supplies, in the hopes that having it more organized would give her a higher chance at success in a quicker fashion, she paused when he yelped, and turned, concern on her face. "Oh! Are you ok? Do you need a bandage or anything?" She couldn't tell if he'd managed to break the skin, and was concerned about her new companion... Friend, in her mind, already, but that's how she was. At his response, though, she nodded, thoughtfully. "Probably true? But... They need homes, and it's not their fault mean people abandoned them." Her eyes were sad as she spoke about it. "I love familiars... I have rather a number. And... if I run a shelter, no one would call me a crazy familiar lady because I'm doing something GOOD... I just... Everyone deserves to be loved, don't they?" She paused, as the last part of his comment caught up to her, and her eyes widened. "OH? Why not? I mean not that you have to, of course, I'm just curious! I love familiars, and USED to think everyone should have one... But now I know better. Some people should, some shouldn't. Do you want one or...?"

Tent Maker Amount of tents the group has made: 6  Giving another go, Mahuyah squinted at the instructions, then looked over to see how others were assembling their projects. How the bloody hell was this supposed to work? Biting her lip, she went back to her task, twisting and looping things, but it wasn't before long that she'd gotten lost on the instructions and her tent looked more like a modern arts project.

Wood Collector Amount of wood the group has: 158 Bridgette looked over at the sweet looking Grimm and waited to see what the woman would do. She relaxed when she heard the sweet question. She smiled tentatively. "Sure. It would be nice to search with more than one person. She figured two eyes would be better than one and it was so kind of this woman to ask her to want to go. "Thanks." This cheerful book loving, or she assumed book loving, woman seemed rather nice and that was good. It would be so nice not to keep searching by herself. Sure she didn't mind being by herself but she also wanted to be around others more. That was party of the reason she had come in this trip.

Tent Maker Amount of tents the group has made: 6 Harley took note of the others as they built the tents around them. They all seemed to stuggle for a time before they got it so she could feel a little at ease. She notice some else in the camp, reading and rereading the instructions before getting it. "At least some one is getting the hang of it." She laughed at the little jab at herself while encouraging the other. "You are making a lot of progress!" She was sad that she could not say the same for herself. Strawberri Stardust Motivation for Harley maybe?

Tent Maker Amount of tents the group has made: 6 “I’m fine,” he said. “No blood. Just got pinched. Stupid tent.” The last bit was mumbled out as he got back to work on setting up his tent and focused back in on their conversation. “I live in the dorms at the academy. And I’ve always said that there wasn’t enough room when I had a roommate. Didn’t want to crowd us and the familiar, you know? Plus I don’t think they really liked them anyway. They at least never had one of their own. I’m in my own room, now. So I don’t really have an excuse anymore. I’d like to own one, yeah. I’m just not sure which kind would be the best fit for me.” He glanced up and over at Niamh. “How many familiars do you have?”

 Wood Collector Amount of wood the group has: 165 The pile was still much smaller than what it needed to be. Callixtus huffed softly. He could do this! Being a weak artist didn't mean he couldn't haul wood! It didn't mean he couldn't venture out into the dangers of the unknown forest which was probably filled with something that would cause his inevitable demise. With renewed vigor, he hurried out, gathering as much as he could carry. He was actually pleasantly surprised with the amount he managed to drag back. He flashed a rare smile at everyone nearby. Now they only needed... a ton more wood. That hardly put a dent in it. His smile turned into a sigh. "We are going to be doing this all night!"OOC Anyone can interact if they want?
