Kumotake freaking out-- mixed with being slightly intoxicated from the venom, three fourths of the word d**k being written on his face, and the general ridiculous of the situation --caused Sev to finally slip out of whatever walled off mood he had been in and bust out laughing, leaning forward slightly so that his hair fell in his face. The laugh was deep and hearty, rumbling through his chest. "No.. I... Haaaa... No, Kumo.. Pfffftttt..." Still laughing, Severin pulled Kumotake closer and covered the male's mouth to muffle him a little. "Shhhh, it's okay. You need to stop making me laugh now though, because the more my heart rate rises the faster the venom travels." The male, shook his head, an amused noise escaping his nose. He wondered what the people surrounding them were thinking. The look on their faces sort of answered his question. He finally took his hand off Kumotake's mouth, moving so that he could grab Kumotake and begin to drag him out of the academy.
"In all seriousness though I need to go to the hospital. I don't have an antidote/antivenom kit on me nor the knowledge to make the antivenom myself." He looked back at the spider-tamer, silent for a few moments before shaking his head and looking back forward. The off sensation spread, and the male rolled his neck, beginning to feel slightly agitated. That couldn't be too good-- he knew nothing about this venom. For all he knew he could be dead in several more minutes, and the off sensation wasn't making him any more confident about his chances. If Kumotake didn't struggle or fight back, Sev would drag him off in the direction of the hospital. "I need you with me so that you can give them a sample of your venom to work with, and to uh... tell them exactly what to look for."

"Do you understand how dire this situation.." Kumotake's huffy response to Severin's laughter. He really wanted to take the trek to the hospital? Did they really have enough time for that? Signs of irritation started subtly but when it hits 'there' the 'discomfort' and the desire to 'be rid of it' can.. can change some people. Kumotake knew this first hand from a past experience he'd rather not be reminded of. But when Severin silenced him it was like something out of a Shoujo slice of life. Kumotake immediately found the words unable to come out of his mouth. This beautiful b*****d's laughter was intoxicating. Suffice to say his pheromones did Kumotake no favors. Sukoso not present mentally or physically to inform the hive to create counter pheromones.
Like a school girl being dragged along by her crush to bad practice with toast in their mouth Kumotake followed Severin limply with minimal resistance avoiding revealing the redness in his face by placing the medical mask firmly higher on his face. Also now partially covering the lewd collection of words on his face. Now that Kumotake was off the premises Sukoso had finished his conversation to turn around. An exclamation mark forming over his head as to where his tamer went.
"I must try harder, faster, or else hsaa..." a passion hidden beneath what may have been fear. The conversation he had with the female spider seemed to only cause something to stir inside Sukoso himself. A greater need to get Kumotake laid as it were by the fairer sex. He was no fool. He knew he'd left with Severin as his pheromones lingered in the air. It spelled possible chaos but Sukoso knew even if somehow his host fell for that white haired hoe of a man hoe they would still be unable to have kids with one another. The emblem of a jagged spider sewn on the backsides while the palms contain what appear to be the equivalent of small hole like pores. The gloves when worn treat the wearer's hands as if they were complex for interactions with ninjutsu. The gloves allow interaction with chakra structures and the pores on the gloves themselves can produce threading from each fingertip. The threading can then attach to structures allowing them to be manipulated by pulling them. These threads are not unlike chakra threads in strength but are clearly visible. When finger tips are brought together the produced threads can fuse into one leading to garrote wire like executions.

A hell of a day, a hell of a week, a hell of a life. On day one, day ******** one, of her arrival in the village, she is beset by pod people, locked in a room with lunatics, and sees what she is pretty sure was an actual ghost. A ghost! All she wanted to do was train and become officiated as a Shinobi; was that too much to ask? No matter, it was over now and the Oni girl had nothing but time to blow off steam and beat up some wooden dummies, plenty of time to just buckle down and focus on her puppets.
Having found a quiet and isolated section of the academy to call her own, Rinka unshouldered her bundled up puppet, letting it slump to the floor. The novice puppeteer gazed down at the heap of wood and metal in a sort of nostalgic haze. It had been a full year since she had actually even touched a puppet, let alone actually used one, but she couldn’t wallow in the past forever. Eventually she had to come out of her rut and climb back onto the saddle, and today was the day. At least, she wanted it to be. All her old puppets were in states of disrepair far to great to get into for the sake of post length; a year away from civilization and any repair shops will do that. Just trust me when I say that she’d have more hope of winning a fight with this academy supplied wooden dummy than with her actual puppets. She’d have to take some time to travel to Takumi, or maybe that store in Sunagakure. She’d probably have to get express permission from the Mizukage to leave now that she was a part of the village; Sunagakure would also probably restrict her choices. This was going to take some time…
Rinka shook her head; now wasn’t the time to dwell on the past or worry about the future. Now was the time to freshen up, to worry about getting back on track. The young Oni girl stretched her arms out in front of her, interlocking her fingers and letting them crack loudly. ”Alright, first thing’s first… Let’s take it from the top.” Performing a single hand seal, Rinka extended her hand towards the training dummy. As she did, strings of chakra would fly forth towards the puppet, connecting at nodes placed on key points of the body. [1/1] Kugutsu no Jutsu (Puppetry Technique) Learned
Now that her puppet was all connected, it was time to get it upright. Once again, it was a simple task for someone with her experience, but still best to run through it. Upright was one thing, but could the puppet fight? Could she get it to function properly for combat? Best way to find out was to arm the puppet; only issue was that it wasn’t holding a weapon. Rinka had a free hand to throw the weapon to the puppet with, but in a real fight that wouldn’t be optimal enough. Luckily for her, she had a tool in her bag that could solve this little predicament. Rinka shot her newly armed puppet a confident grin and gave her puppet-hand a few finger twitches. In the blink of an eye, the puppet’s form flickered from sight and instantly reappeared in front of a dummy on the other side of the room. Another quick finger flick and the puppet lashed out at the dummy with the knife, creating a deep incision. One puppet was simple enough for her to control. After all, she had spent years of her life studying puppetry. Now was the true test. With a flick of her wrist, Rinka snapped the chakra strings from her puppet, allowing it to collapse, lifeless, to the floor. Then, with another snap, the strings shot back forward, this time from both hands and connected with 3 of the training dummies. That was all the puppetry she’d need to brush up on, and really the only puppetry she’d be able to do with this useless piece of trash. She’d really need to repair her old puppets as soon as humanly possible. Having completed her puppetry training, Rinka performed a string of hand seals and disconnected her chakra strings. As she did, the puppet poofed up a cloud of smoke and appeared in front of her bound in its carrying case. [1/1] Gyakukuchiyose Kugutsu (Unsummoning) learned
Puppetry was all well and good, but Rinka was also quite adept as a sealer. See, during her travels, her teacher taught her all sorts of neat tricks one could do with puppets and seals. Most would see sealing jutsu as a means to easily store away tools or lock chests, but a more resourceful mind could use a well-placed seal to unveil a trap. If you were clever enough, you could seal away a solution to any problem ahead of time and never be caught off guard.
She had learned basic sealing many years ago and had continued to use it in the years leading up to her separation from her teacher, but while she was running her little refresher course, it was best to go over everything she knew. Step one was simple, just seal up one of her tools. She had several blank scrolls in her possession, so all the supplies were there. Rinka unraveled one of the scrolls and began to scribble down the inscriptions, drawing the circle, and double checking her work. Once the ground work was laid out, Rinka placed a kunai into the center of the seal and channeled her chakra into it. Within moments, the kunai was sealed into the paper. [1/1] [E] With the first layer of the seal completed, next it was on to the stronger stuff. Keeping her palm placed against the scroll, Rinka performed a new hand seal. New characters began to stream from her hand and add themselves to the seal. [1/1] D
She could go stronger, and she knew it. All she had to do was keep channeling her chakra and keep performing seals, and so she did. One more new hand seal and a new set of characters began flowing forth from her hand, further reinforcing the seal. [1/1] C [7/10 free training posts used]
Good, now all she had to do was add one last layer and that was as far as she could go. Rinka, keeping her palm firmly pressed against the paper, created one last hand seal. Fūnyū no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] learned E-B ranked
Now that she had a sealed object, she could test out if she remembered to unseal. Man, it’d be a real shame if she had sealed objects away with no way to recover them. Rinka placed her hands gently on the seal and channeled a little chakra into the seal, removing the first set of seals. [1/1] E
Unsealing was a pretty simple task. Rinka had done it time and time again, day in and day out. Wake up, break down camp, seal it away, only to break that seal once again. A little pressure, some chakra, and a few good hand seals and, poof. The second layer of sealing had been broken through. [1/1] D
Now came the trickier parts. Rinka had only ever broken a seal this powerful a handful of times. C-ranked seals weren’t something she usually dealt with; most of her stuff could be locked away in a simple genin level seal. Still… she knew she could do it, it would just take a little more chakra. [1/2] Rinka took a steady breath and slowly recited the unsealing hand seals she had learned. Upon exhaling, she channeled her chakra into the seal. It took a second to take effect, but the penultimate seal had now been broken through. [2/2] C
All that remained was the last seal; how hard could it be? She had put it up just fine, so taking it down should be a simple matter of reverse engineering her work. Or so she thought. In concept, the idea was great, but upon trying to break the seal like she did the previous 3 layers, she was only met with disappointment. [1/4]
Okay Rinka, think… You’ve done this before, even if you could count the number of times you’ve broken a seal of this magnitude on a single finger. Remember what you were taught… Rinka took another deep breath and reflected upon her teachings, searching for an answer. After 5 solid minutes of quiet contemplation, she thought she had the answer. Rinka created a quick flow of hand seals and took a deep breath inward, placing her hands down upon the scroll with a slow and stead exhale. With her hands in place, she began to channel her chakra into the scroll, making sure to go at a steady pace this time. [3/4]
Rinka felt around “inside” the seal, slowly learning the ins and outs of its systems, its defenses. After a solid minute of getting to know what she was working with, the little oni performed the final push that should unlock the last seal. Rinka shut her eyes tight as she funneled the last bit of chakra into the scroll and, when she reopened them, before her lay the kunai she had originally sealed away. Good job, Rinka! [4/4] B
Kaifū no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ] learned E-B
Now that she was sure she remembered how to properly seal and unseal, it was time to get fancy. Rinka performed a few hand seals and pressed down on the scroll. This time of just sealing away the kunai this time, a new seal travelled from Rinka’s hands down onto the paper. She carefully aimed the “active” end of the scroll towards the training dummy she had lashed out at with her puppet and released the seal. This time, instead of just popping out of the seal, the kunai soared through the air and embedded itself into the dummy. [1/1] [Target Practice 2/3]
Now it was time to get into some of the tricky stuff. Rinka retrieved her kunai and resealed it into the scroll applying the shuriken unsealing she had just performed. This time, however, she had also applied a timer seal, giving it a 30 second countdown. With everything in place, Rinka aimed the scroll back at the dummy, mouthing an inaudible countdown as she did. 3… 2… 1! Traps were all good, but it would be a bad day if Rinka ever got caught in her own traps. If only she had some way of effectively luring someone into a specific location and warping away? Oh wait, she does. Placing her hands on the floor on separate sides of her, she created two similar, but vaguely different seals. Rinka stood in the middle of one and released the seal. The next few seals Rinka had weren’t exactly ones she could perform. First was the classic Summoning seal. She produced a scroll from her pack and unraveled it before her. Scrawled upon the scroll was a very complex inscription; several lines of characters all surrounding a circle. Within the circle was a small bloodied hand print, Rinka’s hand print. Activating the seal wouldn’t do any good as the person who the contract was made with had long passed on, but the seal would make a great study guide. After a few hours of rereading and transcribing the seals, Rinka was able to make an exact one to one copy of the original scroll. Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ] learned
Next on her list was something Rinka had memorized to the letter. It was a seal she had actually performed many, many times in the past; a most useful tool for people who get separated. Unraveling another scroll, Rinka began to scribe the many complex characters onto the blank sheet with no effort at all. When completed, before her was a seal that would allow her to teleport herself to any individual she had created a contract with. Summoning wasn’t something she could test out, but her next trick was something she could easily show proof of concept in. Rinka produced 2 sheets of paper from her pack and performed a string of hand seals, slamming one hand on each paper. Seals flowed from her hands and onto the papers, then faded into nothing. Next, the oni girl produced a pencil and scrawled the word “test” onto one sheet. As she scribbled each letter, the very same marks she made on one sheet appeared on the other. What to brush up on next? Oh, of course! Privacy was always a concern when traveling out in the wilds. Bandits, other shinobi, and wild animals were always a threat to one’s safety unless you were able to completely seal off your camp. Rinka took 5 blank seals from her pack and began to transcribe a barrier seal onto each one. One by one, Rinka placed the seals on the walls of the room she had walled herself up inside of, putting the 5th and final seal on the door. Once all the notes were in place, Rinka performed several hand signs and channeled her chakra into them, completing the seal and erecting a chakra barrier over the door as she did so. Content with her progress, Rinka released the seal holding the barrier in place. [1/1] [6/10 free training posts used]
Gofuu Kekkai [ Five Seal Barrier ] learned
For her final seal, Rinka first needed to practice a few of her bloodline techniques. Two to be exact. The first was extremely simple; all Oni could perform this feat with ease. With a single quick hand seal, the air around her condensed and formed into a small ball of sake. [1/1]

Rinka swirled her hands in a simple “come hither” motion, and the sake that was floating in the air seamlessly flowed towards her and streamed into the Oni’s mouth. [1/1]

Rinka swallowed the Sake and let out a loud belch; good thing she was alone, or that’d be quite embarrassing. A warm shiver ran up the Oni’s spine as the chakra laced sake coursed through her. Now that she was full of Sake, Rinka could move on to the next step of the technique [1/2]
Taking aim at a target dummy, Rinka created a single one-handed seal and blasted the dummy with a massive bullet of Sake. The bullet ripped its way across the room and slammed into the dummy, sending it spinning backwards into a puddle of frothy booze. [2/2] Sake Tama no Jutsu [ Sake Bullet Technique ] learned
Alright. It was time for her last sealing technique, and least technique of this training session. Up next was a technique she had seen her old teacher use multiple times to create devastating traps within his puppets. If she was to carry on his legacy, then she’d have to learn it just as well. Rinka unraveled her last scroll and began to perform the necessary hand seals to create a seal of the proper strength. After completing the last seal, Rinka placed her palm upon the scroll and allowed the seal to flow from her and onto the blank paper. [2/4]
Once the seal was in place, she began to ready her jutsu. Rinka formed another globule of sake and consumed it like the last. Creating a single one-handed seal, Rinka launched the sake bullet at the scroll. Rather than explode into a heap of soaked paper and spilled alcohol, the jutsu instead began to shrink into the paper! The seal sparked with chakra as her saketon bullet was slowly consumed in a matter of moments. [3/4]
What was left after the whole affair was a scroll with the character for “saketon” sealed away on the center. Only one way to see if this worked now. Rinka held the scroll up to the dummies she had been beating on throughout the session and released the seal, causing the bullet to reappear and fly towards the targets, slamming into them with the same force they would have as if Rinka had shot the bullet herself. More than happy with the results of her training session, Rinka left the academy grounds to make way for the cities of Takumi and Sunagakure. She had to make some new puppets, and she couldn’t exactly do them here. [exit]
Parvati walked into the Academy and Dojo, this would be her time... this would be the time that she would be able to hone her own skill. She walked through and looked around at the various Genin and Academy Students training. She couldn’t wait to get to her own training and start her career as a Shinobi. She walked to a massive wall lined with Jutsu and looked it over, she knew what she was good at and honing that skill was important to her. She plucked two scrolls from the wall and walked to the corner of the room, she wanted to make sure that she didn’t assault anyone with the Jutsu. Snapping the seal from one of the scrolls, she opened it and looked it over. It was something that was going to help her with her sensing skill. She’s always had a knack for it but it was good to see that she would be able to advance it. She looked it over carefully and placed her hands in the Release handsign. She looked over the floor and picked up a small pebble that was on the floor. She concentrated and the pebble started to glow, she felt the vibration of her own chakra within it.

Parvati used the Release handsign and felt the residual chakra in the pebble disperse. She was ready for the next Jutsu that she wanted to learn, she wanted to hone her sensory skill as much as possible. She opened the next scroll studied it over. She knew that sensory techniques were going to be her strength, she wanted to know everything that was possible about sensory techniques. She did a string of handsign and clicked her tongue; the sound waves seemed to bounce around the room. She closed her eyes and tried it again, it was like the sounds shaped themselves around everything in the room. She used it one more time and picked up something outside. She walked out of the small room that she decided to train in and clicked her tongue again while holding the release handsign. Again the sound seemed to bend and shape around everything in the room. She released her hands and walked back to study more

Parvati rolled the two scrolls and returned them to the wall; only to begin searching for another Jutsu that she could learn. She combed the wall for something that would give her another edge. Honing she sill was the only thing on her mind and she knew how she was going to do it. She looked upon one scroll that caught her eye, she remvoed it and looked at the label and knew that it was just for her. She walked into the small room where she had learned the previous Jutsu. She opened and began to study the contents of the scroll, it was a sensory version of the Body Flicker Technique. She knew that some of the techniques would require her to remain still but this was going to give her the best boost in speed. She studied it throroughly and completely, she knew that this was going to be a personal favorite. She walked and opened the door, she wanted to sense what was going on in the main arena. She looked out and placed her finger tips on the ground. She exhaled deep and used the release hand sign, before she would inhale once more she appeared in the main reception area with her chakra pulsating around the room...
There now was no stranger in the room...

Her excitement bubbled through her and a sense of accomplishment ran through her. She walked back to the room where she had left the scroll and rolled it together. She loved the feel she got when she learned a new Jutsu, she felt stronger; though it was a sensing technique... she felt better then she was when she arrived. She walked back and placed the scroll among the others. She continued to look for sensory techniques.

Parvati knew that if she was going to be more proficient at her skills, she would have to master ‘Pricilla’. She looked around the Academy and Dojo and saw several dummies along the walls, she knew that she was going to train with her and make sure that she was a force to be recon with. She removed the whip from her side and began to move it and flick it with her wrist. She wanted to make sure that she got the feel for the movement of the whip. She knew that this was going to be a better time then ever to master her skill, she lashed it at the dummy nearest to her and it coiled tightly around the dummies neck. Channeling chakra though it, she made the coils tighter. She knew that she had said long way to go, but this was a start

She walked over and uncoiled her whip from the dummy’s neck; taking a distance from it again. She was in the mood to learn more techniques with her whip, she wanted to be able to sense her enemies and render then asunder. She continued to mover her whip around thre floor like a writhing snake. She got closer to the dummy and grabbed two points on her whip, she snapped them together and entangled the dummy. She snapped the arm off the dummy and rolled it to the ground. She was happy that she was able to add offensive techniques to her arsenal.

Considering that even more mysteries followed after the last time mysterious mysteries mystified Kirigakure, Kagerou erred on the side of caution and busied herself with a relatively no risk task. There was a mission up on the board regarding suggesting improvements to Kirigakure's infrastructure, and there was one thing Kagerou had in mind regarding Kirigakure's medical system.
Although, being rather inexperienced herself, she sought assistance and advice from those older and more experienced. Today, her purpose at the academy wasn't to train, but to visit her uncle, Suigetsu Kiritani, who taught at the academy, and ask him to help develop some sort of system or another to support and guarantee the skills of shinobi who were interested in working as medical practitioners.
He was offering some advice, which began with a complete overhaul of Kagerou's original idea because it was impractical and unrealistic, when he paused at a good spot to take a break and asked, "Kagerou, is everything alright?" as Kagerou finished jotting down the important details.
Kagerou looked up from her writing and gave a quizzical smile, waiting to hear a little more before committing to a reply.
Suigetsu, for his part, just stared back at Kagerou in response to her non response. For the record, yes, this is how many a conversation between Kiritanis went. Just endless staring contests.
Kagerou, being only half a Kiritani, caved in first, "Uncle, I'm feeling just fine."
"Is that so?" Suigetsu looked Kagerou right in the eyes, "Kagerou, you've shown your nervous smile at least five times since entering the room and throughout your entire explanation; you've shown uncharacteristic pauses, stutters, and mumbles throughout your explanation; you've said sorry at least six times; your eyes have shifted uncertainly maybe four times since I asked you the question; and a few other details I won't bore you with. You're hesitating, uncertain about something."
Well, with a dissection of her actions like that, there was no way Kagerou could say anything against her uncle, especially not when it was true.
"At least try to lie, it will be good practice."
Kagerou just smiled in complete surrender as she admitted, "You know how I feel about lying..."
"But isn't that what changed?" Suigetsu asks with an unreadable face. As ever, he's there and he's helping but not really, like he really would rather be elsewhere... sometime in the past.
Kagerou started, eyes wide as she revealed, "H-how did you know?". She still smiled even after being found out. It was almost a relief to be found out, even though the lie had been so short-lived.
The teacher's eyes move away from Kagerou's expression as he turns in his chair to stare at a wall instead, "I didn't. It was just a guess, an educated one. It is difficult to work from the shadows while touting only the truth. I predicted you will realize that as you grew order. That being said, deflection is a crafty but basic method to hide secrets. You'll need to work on learning when to give up, or in this case, when to not give up."
"Mm..."
"Deflection can also come in layers."
"Mm..."
"If you wish to not give up, you will need to become stronger. Your lies are weak."
"...," Kagerou had nothing to say. Her plan B alternate path had been foiled. Curses.

Eventually, Kagerou resisted, "I... I don't need to tell you anything." Oh? Was this the rebellious phase come late?
The good uncle moved right along to business in that case, "Then let's resume talking about setting guidelines and standards for medical shinobi."
Kagerou just stared very sadly and very silently with big bubble eyes as she realized that yes, yes she wanted to share and have an adult help her.
The uncle, turning to look at his niece didn't even sigh. He half expectedd this sort of outcome. "Have you changed your mind?" he asked.
Kagerou nodded. Yes, she had changed her mind, so she began regaling her uncle with the long tale. It took some time to start, the circumstances surrounding what bothered her being of a nature she was not comfortable with revealing. However, without jeopardizing any information that was better left unsaid, Kagerou summarized everything she had gone through just earlier today.
Her uncle, in return, did not pry. Serving Kirigakure was the Kiritani tradition. Secrets between members of the family was more common than uncommon.
After Kagerou recounted what the Inka-lone had said to her, what Takeda had said to her, and the errors she had committed in the Mizukage's office, silence fell between the two of them.
In time, Kagerou's uncle advised, "Kagerou, people are, by nature, unreliable natures. When they speak, their words paint the picture that they want, at least on some subconscious level. I think, from listening to you, that you know what your answer is already." He paused for a little bit to stare into Kagerou's earnest eyes. No deception lay in them, and thus, he could use them to gauge what his niece thought. After ascertaining that what he had said was not false, Suigetsu continued his analysis, "You are here for an answer from me, though... and I must admit, there is nothing I can say to help... You remember, I'm sure, that when you chose to deal life over death, I warned you that you will need to be prepared to support yourself."
Kagerou cast her eyes down to the ground. What were the answers of hers that her uncle had heard in her questions? Guilt. She understood that she had been mule-headed, even as she was wholly willing to take on the burden of that guilt and dislike. In the heat of the moment, she had thought childishly, as if the world was a perfect place where she could protect and know the best for everyone. That was not the case, though, and she had to learn how to let go... when her entire drive up to this point was to hold on.
"If..." Kagerou's uncle spoke up again, starting hesitantly, "This advice is unsuited for your situation, but... Hm... I am sure you remember being taught that the key to attracting any target is to do so indirectly, to lure them in without making them realize that their attention was your goal. That is my advice to your dilemma. Right now, your hovering might very well be what is urging your 'targets' away. Step away. They will come to you when they need you, and your job while you wait is to gather more and more of what they will need. In short, you shouldn't worry and just focus on your personal growth." This was Suigetsu's way of living up to Kagerou's expectations because he could tell that she had been searching for something that he did not know how to give.
Kagerou listened, but she did not look like it. She remained in silent thought as the minutes ticked away. Being labeled as a "pompous b***h" had really hurt, unlike anything else she had felt, and while she didn't quite know why, she knew that she didn't want this kind of feeling to linger. In the end, she sighed, understanding that the problem was deeper than the lingering insult to her pride. It had exposed an inadequacy, one of at least two she'd noticed in the recent emergency "test."
Calmly thinking about it, Kagerou's specialty, inadequacy meant she needed to improve somehow... somewhere... How? She was already telling herself that she had gone overboard with her heightened concern for others after Jack's and Shadow's death, with the unintended conceited thinking that she always needed to be doing everything to prevent any more untimely demises. She was already telling herself that Takeda had a point, that she was being too much if she was trying to force her vision of health onto everyone. She was already telling herself that it was because she paid too much attention on the well being and feelings of those around her that she had made the fatal mistake of letting the situation in the Mizukage's office fall into chaos. However, simply telling herself didn't feel like she was going anywhere.
This bad feeling was just something Kagerou would need to internalize, remember, and burn into herself so that next time she would learn, fix her mistake, and rid herself of the branded insult as she moved forwards. With her reflection drawing to a close, Kagerou smiled. She was a little bit back to her usual self. The rest would come shortly.
"Shall we move on, Uncle?" she chirped, and the two carried on until they reached a point where Kagerou would need to ask for the expertise of others.
Right before she left, Suigetsu offered some final advice, "Kagerou, there is nothing better than firsthand experience, but tread carefully. Becoming Oinin will teach a lot of what you are missing, but you must remember what is important to you, your reasons for why you are missing that understanding because more likely than not, Oinin will take those reasons away from you." Not a word of Oinin had been mentioned in their entire talk, but he could tell. Kagerou had tried to lie. She had noticed that what she once tossed aside as unneeded could be used for good. From lying to acting to secrets. The position of Oinin naturally lay on that path.
With a reassuring smile, Kagerou left without a word, too afraid to make promises she might not be able to keep.

• Dream Audience - Kagerou's dream is to help as many as she could. From this desire, the dream world manifested the power to multiply the recipients of all of her eiseijutsu techniques. With neither extra effort nor decrease in power, Kagerou can affect two extra targets for each eiseijutsu activation as long as they fulfill the requirements to be a target (i.e. contact for most eiseijutsu by default or sound when Kagerou performs eiseijutsu). Past the starting two, she must spend a total of 5(n-3)+10 energy split evenly between chakra and stamina for each additional target; n = number of targets. Odd energy costs are split with 1 more point of stamina than chakra. This additional cost cannot be reduced or refunded.

Severin had managed to sulk his way to the academy after everything at the kage's office. People were bustling about, like nothing had even happened, but the whole ordeal kept playing over and over in his mind. Anxiety rolled through him, a mixture of the affects of PTSD and worry over Inka-- the mizukage didn't seem in the best of shapes when they left. Once again his mind trailed back to their discussion just before the flare of the Sero... things changed so quickly. He hoped from the bottom of his heart that the male would be alright. Severin made his way back to the tree he had been training under earlier and just sat against it, partially numb. That stupid gennin from the office... The one that threw the knife... if there was anything wrong with Inka...
"It's my fault..." He mumbled to himself.
And it was true; it didn't matter that some greenhorn gennin decided to be stupid and mess with things she didn't understand... what mattered is that he didn't have the capacity to protect Inka, despite being right there, right beside him the whole time. Severin let out a sharp his, anger at himself growing in his throat. How could he be a shinobi, better yet a medical personel, if he didn't have the capabilities to protect people, to do what had to be done? In his self doubt, the words of the Shadow Inka came rolling back like the fog off the water in the morning. Cheap Imitation... Young Punk... The shadow Inka hadn't been wrong, that's what he was, for the most part. He prepared himself for Inka to appear at any moment, to lecture him, to tell him he was out of line... But he didn't come.
The while haired male closed his eyes tightly and took in a deep breath, hoping that the sounds of nature would calm him and stop the anxious storm going on in his head.

Right. Step one, headband acquired. Now Miyuki could actually invest herself into learning techniques she needed to become a proper kunoichi. Though what that meant at this point was a little beyond her. During the strange event with the Sero tree, although her terrible memory was made even hazier by the situation and the things she had felt at the time, she recalled being asked by Kagerou to fetch other villagers who had found metal shards and send them to the office. Takeda was supposed to go with her, but he hadn't followed. Which probably led to her getting lost at some point. Regardless, she had felt a pull, a need to go to the Sero, the opposite of where she had wanted to go. And that was it. The rest is a blur. But she could remember feeling a deep sorry. A... desperation. She didn't know where it had come from, but she knew it had to do with the tree. In fact, she still felt it, although it was weak.
Like everything else, she brushed it aside. Maybe her tendrils were still playing with her head. For now, there was work to be done, starting with her birth element, water. Even further than that, with the basics. She had gathered a bunch of scrolls that held potential candidates of techniques to learn, it was just a matter of doing it.
The first technique on the list was probably one of the most useful. Mizu Soujuu [Water Manipulation] was exactly as its name suggested. It would allow Miyuki to control, boil, pressure, and almost create water. Almost because all it did was condense water vapor in the air into a usable form. Given where she lived, there was plenty of water to be used in the mists and fog that always lay over Kirigakure. Holding out a hand, palm up, Miyuki focused a bit of her wellspring of chakra into the center of it, drawing with it vapor from there are. With minimal effort, it condensed into a small puddle of water in the cup of her hand. [1/1 Learned Mizu Soujuu]
Secondly was Mizu no Waruasobi [Trick of Water], which she had set up specifically to use after learning the water manipulation. With a simple flick of the wrist, the chakra infused water streaked outward from her hand before falling harmlessly to the ground. Had there been an enemy before her, the technique could be shot into the eyes, potentially causing irritation and, more importantly, an opening to strike. [1/1 Learned Mizu no Waruasobi]
For the next technique, Miyuki filled a bowl with water from the faucet in one of the bathrooms of the academy. This one was easy enough that she figured it out on the way back to her small training space. Both hands on the bowl, she focused her chakra into the water. The water stilled to the point it reflected perfectly the ceiling above her , as if it were a mirror. The technique Mizu Kagami no Jutsu [Water Mirror Technique] did just that. It was useful for glancing around corners or even, as in her current situation, seeing behind or above the user. [1/1 Learned Mizu Kagami no Jutsu]
Setting the bowl aside in case she needed it later, Miyuki moved on to her next technique. This one, not unlike Mizu no Waruasobi, was used to stun an opponent and provide an opening. Or to play tag. Either way. It was just as simple, too. Gathering chakra into her mouth, she condensed it into water and the spat it out in a sharp stream. After a short distance it simply fell away, splashing the ground, but it likely would have stung a bit on contact. [1/1 Learned Uo Tsuba]
The final of what was considered 'E-ranked' Suiton techniques was probably the most useful of them. Or potentially anyway. Mizu no Yaiba [Water Sword] created a sword made out of water pressurized to the point it takes on a solid form. At higher ranks, at least. It even had cutting power. Just to test her ability to manipulate water, Miyuki stuck with a small weapon. Holding out one hand, she gathered water into in, shaping it into a short sword. This particular form of it was weak but could still do a bit of damage if it came to it. Satisfied, she let the water going, watching with a grin as it splashed to the ground. With the simple Suiton techniques out of the way, Miyuki moves onto her less used and often forgot element, Doton. Two of the techniques, for the moment, she couldn't learn without access to sand, but there were still plenty of others. The first was a clone technique. The Earth Clone Technique created a solid clone that could take quite a beating, even though it was heavy and slow. Flipping through the hand seals associated with it a couple of times, Miyuki injected her chakra into the motions and then placed her hand against the ground. A few feet in front of her, a clone grew from the earth, identical to herself. [1/1 Learned Doton Bunshin no Jutsu]
Straight out of creating the clone, Miyuki spun back to her feet, her hand brushing a rock as she passed by it. Forcing her chakra into it, it followed after her hand and, as she stood fully once more, she threw the rock forward. It collided with the clone, making it stumble back, although it didn't crumble quite yet. Iwa Tounyuu no Jutsu [Rock Throw Technique], as the name suggested, was capable of throwing a variety of rocks up to the size of a fist at an opponent. The technique itself was weak and the toss was somewhat slow because of the weight behind it, but it had the potential to hurt. Especially if it hit someone in the head. With no more use for the clone, Miyuki let it crumble back to the ground and instead used its remains to learn her next technique, Ishi Yoroi no Ude [Stone Bracers]. Removing her own gloves and bracers and pushing up her sleeves so as not to get her clothing dirty, she picked up some of the soil and rubbed it along her arms, infusing it was chakra in the same motion. In turn, the dirt took shape and solidified like a layer of stone. While it was somewhat heavy, it could provide quite the defense, especially against physical attacks. And given her combat style, well, she could definitely see uses for it. Shaking her arms, she let the dirt fall back to the ground. She'd have to clean off after she was done. Continuing straight down the scroll, Miyuki skipped over Suna Moji, since it required sand, and move on to Tsuchi Gunjikoudou no Jutsu [Earth Military Movement Technique]. This technique allowed the user to essentially 'swim' through the ground as long as they had the chakra to maintain it. If Kirigakure were more earth than water, it would probably be a good way to get around, too. But the majority of that sort of use for it would have to wait until she was outside of the village. Spreading her chakra evenly across her form, Miyuki mustered all of her faith that the technique would work and she wouldn't just look like an idiot and dove at the ground. To her relief, the earth accepted her presence and she passed through it, only to spring back out several feet away. [1/1 Learned Tsuchi Gunjikoudou no Jutsu]
Landing lightly on her feet, Miyuki tested the final technique she had set out to learn for the moment. As her feet touched the ground, she fell into a crouch and slammed her hands against the earth, injecting her chakra into it. The ground, for about three meters in front of her shot away from her. Assuming an opponent had been there, they would have been pushed away with it and, possibly, even lost their balance. Yet again, an opening for attack. Regardless, though, it was bound to at least put some space between her and an enemy. [1/1 Learned Tsuchi Tou Tou]
Satisfied with what she had learned for the moment, Miyuki headed back out of the academy--after returning her scrolls--to find something else to do.

Parvati looked at the broken dummy laying at her feet and looked around the room. She felt a new strength within her and suddenly the room felt too small. She looked towards the Gates and her feet began to carry her out of the Dojo. There was something bigger out there and now that she was able to proficiently defend herself... she wanted it all.
[･･･] The sudden blush and flush of powder-soft petals upon the village had raised a small alarm. An Anbu had arrived to take the Mizukage's son elsewhere. Atop the Academy's roof stood a man in a medical mask and black cloak, its cut and design no more different than the one worn by Inka when showing in an official capacity. With Minowa pocketed away to safety, the masked man turned away. as though to leave...
Strengths: • Agility; evasion and speed. • Fireworks; heat, fires, & explosions boost his mood. • Flexibility; body contortions and weapon use. • Grit; close distance combat. • Volatiles; implementing and altering explosives.

The Sero bloomed, beautifully instead of grotesquely this time. Despite how stunning the blushed-colored flowers were, Severin was once again set on edge; the Sero was alive once more... and so soon, too. Pushing himself in to a standing position he forced away his moping for the time being, and made a movement to leave to check on the others when.... He wasn't sure how, but suddenly he lost consciousness for a moment and stumbled, and when he regained his sight, the world looked... odd. Blinking a few times, in case the odd view in front of him was because of the loss of consciousness; but it was clear after a few moments that he had... shrunk somehow? Perhaps at least a good foot or so, but that was odd.
The raigyou rushed to the water's edge to look at himself, but nothing could prepare him for what he saw. Letting out a shrill, high-pitched scream, he stumbled back from the water, crystal blue eyes wide with bewilderment. His silver hair fell in to his, no her, face as she looked down to her chest to realize she had gained some fairly sized assets. Stuttering for a second, she let out another bewildered scream. Severin looked at her hands-- feminine and slender fingers that weren't hers. Another scream. Why did she feel lightheaded? Why couldn't she breath? Why was the world spinning?

A familiar voice drifted to her from behind, and it served to ground her mid-anxiety attack. Taking in a deep shuttering breath, Severin looked behind her at the ANBU. She couldn't place why she knew the voice though the mask was very familiar... Stumbling up, still not used to the new body, she took a few steps towards the masked figure. "H-Hey!" She called out, stumbling a bit before coming to a stop. Short legs were a pain in the a**, the ground should be further away than it was... Clearing her throat, as if to get used to the new voice and steady herself, she crossed her arms in front of herself. "Do I uh... Do I know you, sir?" Crystal blue hues narrowed, as if peering closer would allow her to identify the person easier.
She paused for a second before continuing with her questioning. "You're ANBU so I can understand if you can't answer that... Is Inka okay? I haven't heard anything since I saw him in the office... He seemed..." She swallowed hard, looking down, the image of Inka clear in her mind as if she had just seen him. On his knees, in the middle of pulsing chakra... eyes bleeding. The image of him trapped turned to that of the shadow inkas, their melting globes... their anger... their sadness... Inka's doubts, his thoughts, his fears... "He didn't seem in the best of ways when I was ordered from the office... I'm worried about him. I know you probably can't give me specifics... Classified information and all that.""All my fault'. her thoughts echoed in her head. She couldn't protect Inka, couldn't protect him from that stupid knife...
