Dexurn- Post 3HP 16 I CHOOSE CHOICE C When he’d climbed out of the pool, Dex had felt determined and full of will. Suddenly though, he felt like his muscles were made of jelly and his feet were full of rocks. The more he pushed himself, the worse it got. He felt like his lungs weren’t getting enough air, and he was breathing heavily when the landscape seemed to vanish.
He froze, trying to see anything, when the bright light gave him a different kind of blindness from before. And then his vision cleared again...
With each blink of his eyes, the voices and faces surrounding him became clearer. Shikori, Shadiya, Winta... A few had faces that he couldn’t see, and he knew that those people were his family that he hadn’t known. They were all here! He felt his eyes water with joy. This was his greatest dream... All he wanted...
The shifting mood was like a knife to his heart. Everyone was turning away from him. They.. They were forgetting about him! His tears became hot with sadness and fear. “Shikori!” He reached out desperately, trying to grab Shikori’s arm. “Shikori! Please! Don’t leave me again!”

Rhonann- Post 3HP 18 I CHOOSE CHOICE A Rhonann lost track of time as she soaked in the warmth of the pool. Something was prodding the back of her mind, but she couldn’t focus on it. Not until she felt the arms. She flailed a little, swinging her arms around to strike out at whoever was touching her. Her brow knit as she was yelled at, unable to really care. The water seemed to be rising though, and she started to panic, vision quickly growing dark.
The flash of light startled her, and she coughed sharply to get rid of the water she’d been drowning in... but she was dry again? She looked around with confusion, jumping with surprise when she registered the bodies and voices. All those faces... Was she back with her family? When had they found her? That didn’t matter though! She was home!
All at once, she was looking at everyone’s backs... What?
She tried getting their attention again, but they weren’t concerned with her anymore. Did.. did someone else have their attention? But she’d been gone for so long! She’d been missing! She was finally home! Who was trying to take her life when she’d just gotten it back?! Rho was furious, pushing people aside to find the source of their dismissal. She wanted to scream at the person taking her welcome home away! She wanted them to leave!

Faamy- Post 3HP 15 I CHOOSE CHOICE B Sitting in that tub was absolutely divine. Faamy’s cares and worries seemed to float around her rather than hover over her head. She felt warm and relaxed. Good! She was ready to move on! When she climbed out of the pool, Faamy was surprised to see the door suddenly there. It was the way she knew to go, so she walked forward with purpose and shoved it open.
Engulfed in darkness, she stood still for a confused moment before yelping as the world lit up again. Where had all those voices come from?! Wait, she recognized those voices... Was she home? She spun around, smile bright when she saw the faces she knew and loved. She hugged and smooched every person she could get her hands on, just happy to be with them. Suddenly though, as she reached out for people, it was their backs she saw, rather than their faces. Someone else had their attention?
She tried pushing through the crowd, trying to see who had their attention. She knew her friends and family loved her. She knew it. They wouldn’t turn away for no reason. There had to be something special about whatever had taken their attention. The rejection stung, but maybe she would understand if she got closer, and was able to see for herself what or who it was.

I CHOOSE CHOICE B Edathe HP - 15 (-2) = 13!
Edathe was slow to move, she felt so good. She just sat there in the water, never wanting to move and then... well and then she was being lifted out of the waters. She felt arms wrap under her and pull her up and into the cold air and reprimanding voice arguing with her. She squirmed, uncomfortable with the scolding. She didn't think she was doing anything wrong. She whined incoherently before she felt the fog hitting her lungs. She panicked. Why was everything black?
And then it was white. Blinding white and her eyes hurt. She could hear voices but didn't know what they were saying. But when she figured it out, it was praise. Her friends and family were all around her and they were saying such wonderful things! But just as soon as she realized they loved her, they were starting to switch. They weren't talking about her anymore. Where was the attention going? She frowned, her feet and hands starting to feel clammy. Why? Why would they leave her like that? It was someone else. They were all talking about someone else now.
It was another little girl like her, but they loved her more. She pushed through the crowd, trying to get a look at her. She felt about to cry, but she tried to remind herself that these were her people. If they loved someone else... maybe it was for a reason.

I CHOOSE CHOICE C Vaena HP - 15 (-2) = 13!
Vaena had her eyes closed when she felt the hands pull her out of the water. Someone was scolding her. Her. Of all people. She opened her mouth to fight back, her face pulled into a grimace. Who did she think she was? But before Vaena could speak she felt the fog choking her. She couldn't breath. And then it was black.
The light hit her harder than she thought it would and she nearly snarled with the abruptness of it. But she could breath. She could also hear voices. They were all praising her. She looked around and realized it was all people she knew. Good. At least she was somewhere familiar now.
But they started to talk about someone else and she felt her eyes narrow. Why would they ignore her? She saw their attention turn to another, someone who was excelling at sewing. What did they see in her anyways?
Vaena turned to her little sister, and whispered her complaints. Why was she so impressive anyways?

I CHOOSE CHOICE A Mirin HP - 15 (-4) = 11!
Mirin felt the water, and boy did it feel nice, but she had to get out of here! What else could she do when she felt like she was trapped? She needed to move and to get back to her forest. She pulled herself out of the water and ran in one direction. But no matter how far she ran, she couldn't get anywhere. She ran faster and faster, her lungs working harder to get air, and before she knew it she couldn't stop. She was just so tired! She pulled in a deep breath, but no air came in. And then everything was black.
She opened her eyes and it was bright again. She could hear people all around her. What was happening? They were talking about her! They all loved her. They all wanted to be around her and she grinned. She basked in it. It was great!
And then there was another there. It was her cousin. And she was getting too much of the attention. Mirin frowned at first. And then the frown turned into a quiet rage. She took the attention from her. She felt her fists clench and she pushed her way through the crowd. She knew this girl. And she did the first thing she could think of - she opened her mouth and let the whole group know the girl's secrets.

I CHOOSE CHOICE A Dris'rynne - 16 HP
Her sense of 'get up and go' was what ultimately would get her into the most trouble. She needed to keep searching, to keep looking, but Dris'rynne could feel her overworked body scream out in pain. Why was she doing this when it hurt so much? She ran, kept running, kept looking until she was too exhausted to move. Ultimately the world faded to black around her...
he last you remembered was the world being completely black, but you’re not quite sure how you got here anymore. What happened? Before you can think much longer it’s like a light is flicked on and you’re blinded with white light. Blinking repeatedly, you wait for your eyes to adjust. There are voices around you, that much you know.
When the world righted itself Dris'rynne found herself surrounded by her family. Her sisters were no longer lost, but rather they were telling her how much they loved her. Briza was happy for once, snugged up with a rather pleased Niyani and her grandfather couldn't stop pouring out the praise.
She was home and best of all, safe with her family. But then...then the strangeness crept through her, consuming all thought as her family started talking of another. Why were they talking to this person and not her? She hated it! After all she had done for them; after all the searching she'd gone through, and now they were suddenly praising someone else?
Stress and worry caused her to lash out. Dris'rynne called out to her mother, her sisters; anyone! Pushing through the crowd she found herself standing in front of a vague form of a man... a man that bore a resemblance to her, but one she couldn't place...
And yet somewhere she knew...
"He left us! He ditched you, mother, to run off and left you with a baby! Stop talking to him!" Dris'rynne couldn't say why she knew it was Kaleo, her birth father, but in her heart she just knew. And the thought of this ghost, this spirit that haunted her family, was stealing away the love she had worked so hard to gain burned through her in unimaginable ways.
