Part of it is Gaia activity overall is low. The fanbase isn't as strong as it used to be so the art forums are super small now. With more and more people leaving the site because of X this or X that. It also doesn't help that the majority of artists just want rlc and fewer do gg/plat as time goes on.
I imagine the trend of 'gg slots full/closed rn, but rlc is OOOOOPEEEEN', will only grow. crying

edit// Also, it's against Gaia TOS/rules to list RLC prices anywhere on gaia (or accept/state willingness to illustrate NSFW), so those of you who have shops here may want to edit posts accordingly. @~@

InuPaws Does that also count for GC? o-o It's okay to state that you accept GC gift cards, because those are items on here, and they can be tracked and transferred through trades. Just make sure you phrase it that way, like "accepting 500GC gift cards." It's not okay to say something like "accepting $5 worth of GC."

I forgot Gaia doesn't like people putting RLC in shops like that...maybe I should make an announcement so that any shop owners know this.

Althindor nailed it; the basic premise is if it can be obtained on Gaia, u can accept it as currency (p’much anything/everything sold on the marketplace can be listed as your accepted forms of currency in exchange for art).
It’d probably be a safe bet to do a quick announcement on it, or just shoot a few pm’s (I don’t think there’s too many active shops on here atm?) whatever works best~

You can mention it, just can’t accept them here

Hi, I'm kind of new to this guild. I'm an aspiring artist myself, but the past few years I just kind of fell out of it and I'm looking to get back into it again. I'm looking to make new friends who are in the art crowd and whom I can learn from.

Hey, new Guildie here. I wouldn't mind doing sketches for Plat, but definitely not full fledged digital pieces. Those take me days, and I do art as a career.
