FLIPPIN HEY! 23 December
The shell flipping game has become too addicting and once again, the familiar silhouette of Kiss of Death appeared around the corner and the doe herself came into view as she walked towards the booth again. The grid on the ground was still there and she wanted to know if picking the shells on the outside was just not as good as the ones in the center.
She walked towards the very tip of the field and flipped a corner shell over. And there it was, just one single token sparkled in the sunlight. The doe smirked and picked up the prize anyway. Better than nothing at all.

FLIPPIN HEY!
Kept stumbled back toward the shell booth. He liked these kin, he realized - or at least the purple one. The orange one was scary.
He flipped over a shell without much fanfare and was startled to find a two-token stone underneath. He wibbled out a 'thank you' before fleeing. That wasn't what he'd been searching for, but he'd certainly take it!

FLIPPIN HEY!
When Evolve returned after a small break, she was actually surprised to flip over the shell and find nothing it all. She'd clearly lost the knack of the game and needed to spend some time getting back to top form.

FLIPPIN HEY! Web milled around the festival, but always seemed to find himself back here. He just... liked it here. And of course, he didn't mind the company of the Acha doe. He flipped over a shell for the day, finding a token and some berries. How nice! He was about to take the berries when an orange blur rushed in and snatched them up and rushed off. "DAMNIT SAGA!" Web called after his foxbun. Oh well, at least he had a token.

FLIPPIN HEY!10, 3: 1 token + a pretty thing Mouse had heard about this booth, overheard snippets of conversation ranging from praise for amazing prizes and warnings to skip this game.
Deciding to test her luck she flips a shell over. Underneath is a token, nestled in coils of a nearly complete shedding from a snake. "This is lovely, thank you." she says, gathering her prizes and leaving.

FLIPPIN HEY! 24 December
The doe was certain that flipping shells on the outside were not all that great. To double confirm her theory, Kiss of Death walked around the outside of the grid and randomly flipped one lined against the very outside in a row. And there we have it, she noticed it was just one token, again.
"Perhaps." she whispered to herself, "tomorrow I will find other prizes..." and she meandered between the kin that were surrounding the booth waiting on their turns and disappeared out of sight. She has some trees to smash.

FLIPPIN HEY!
Yes, Kept was here. Again.
He wasn't sure if Can You could have kept him away, at this point. He was too invested in getting to see what was underneath the shells. So far he'd mostly encountered lovely things, after all. He nosed over to sniff at a couple shells before settling on one that was cracked and a little bit sad-looking. (He felt bad for it, see!)
It took him a bit to work up the nerve to flip it over, and actually - actually this time the flipping didn't go so well. It took him a few minutes of nudging with his nose before finally - ah, there was no token stone here. But there was something rather more marvelous: a tiny squirrel's pelt, on which was arranged a veritable rainbow of beetle shells. He had to admit he gaped, for a moment. This was a stunning prize!
He folded the corners and ran off with it. Surely the pair hadn't seen him...right? There was no way that this was for Kept. What a treasure.

FLIPPIN HEY! False Light came by the booth again after a couple of days from her first trip. The festival left her feeling cranky and her energy completely drained, it took her a couple of days to recover. But she couldn't stay away for long. How could she? There was so much... buzz going around, it makes it hard for her to sleep. And when she played the first booth of the day and won nothing, it didn't improve her mood. She sneered at anyone and anything in her way as she left.

After business had been slow the past few days, Can You enacted a backup strategy. She started working the crowd even harder than before, tempting them with a new offer -"Ladies and gentlemen, fillies and colts, step right up! Today, and today only, all token prizes are doubled! You stand a chance of winning up to TWENTY TOKENS today! Flip a shell, try your luck! Everyone's a winner!"
((This is, in fact, an event-wide bonus, but I figured I'd make a post about it as a reminder! whee Merry Christmas, everyone!))

FLIPPIN HEY! 25 December ; Merry xmas Corn x 2 = 6 TOKENS
This game was indeed Kiss' favourite of all the booths. It made her use her intelligence and reasoning skills more often rather than just brute strength or quick wits to earn tokens.
Today she seemed especially happy when she heard the hostess announce that whatever they find under the shells will be doubled. Imagine double the booby prize, that would suck...
But she knew better than all other kin that the motherfather had given her a nice bit of luck to live with, and she was thankful for that. After this event is over, she will definitely go give them an offering as thanks for making her life good-natured.
Kiss walked up to the playing field and studied the grid. Even if she knew the middle ones were the best to flip, she still studied all the shells available. Looking at the acha, she opened her mouth to say thanks: "Thank you and you," she said, looking right at the dark buck in charge of prizes, "this game needs to be available in the future. It is my favourite out of all these booths."
She flipped a dirt covered shell with her hoof and found three tokens under it. "Three times two makes six tokens for today. Lovely." The doe smiled and went to retrieve her winnings. Happy holidays matope.

FLIPPIN HEY! Tracks wrinkled his nose as the shell he flipped revealed something rather unpleasant and sighed as his flox suddenly perked up. "Really?" He murmered, watching the creature daintly pick its way over the shells and picked up the dead creature. "You would want that, wouldn't you?"

FLIPPIN HEY! Filament stood by the side, bouquet in his mouth, watching for a long time in the way that an average kin found themselves drawn to a game they knew they had no chance in. He watched until he found himself nervously chewing on the stems, then suddenly found himself in the midst of choosing one of the clay bowls - and ah, found himself staring at a little stone worth quite a few tokens! Tucking it amongst the flowers, he trotted off with a bit more spring in his step.

FLIPPIN HEY!
"What a fascinating specimen! From the way that the socket is crushed, it seems that this poor foxbun met quite an unfortunate end - oh, you can still see the shell of the deflated eyeball..."
Somebody tell her this isn't a prize please.
