Reaper & Dakra
User Image

Reaper and Dakra listened to what Abaddon had to say and even though it made sense that he wouldn't remember all of what happened, they still thought something didn't quite seem correct.

Reaper: "Abaddon I believe you are telling the truth, but by the look on your face I still think there might be something bothering you that you have determined not significant to what I am requesting of you. Please do tell us what it is that is bothering you. You may not think it important, but sometimes the seemingly unimportant information actually is really helpful and therefore very important. Now tell me what it is that is bothering you."

Abaddon told them about how he doesn't remember have had a smoking habit prior to the fusion procedure. Both Reaper and Dakra knew that it probably held some significance, but they weren't certain yet as to what it meant.

Dakra: "Well maybe we should do a full body analysis of you to see if we can figure out what exactly it is that is going on with you and maybe see if we can uncover what it is your psyche has felt the need to forget. We need to do it anyways to make sure that the fusion procedure happened as it should and that everything works properly."

Reaper: "I agree that that is probably the best course of action. So the two of you should probably return to your lab to do just that. Make sure to take your time to be thorough so as not to overlook something important. Well now then you two get going."

After Dakra and Abaddon had left the throne room to return to Dakra's lab, Reaper started to review the satellite surveillance footage that had been recorded as to the action of Kor's group. As he caught up to what they were currently doing, he knew that it was probably about time to possibly awaken at least a couple of the Homunculi that he had revived. There were only 6 on the base including Father because the other two had been restored to the bodies they had occupied prior to their deaths. Greed would be in Royal Xingese Palace back in the body of Xingese Emperor Ling Yao probably happily reunited with him and trying to figure out what had caused him to be restored back to life once again. He might have even moved past that and be working on a strategy to take over the world. A third of Kor's group would be heading to Xing shortly to get help from Ling and Greed to fight against Reaper and his forces. He knew Greed wouldn't side with him and honestly he only revived him because he thought it would be amusing to give them one more ally that he could fight against. Pride on the other hand would be back in his original body, the one named Selim Bradley, and from there he could be used to help his father regain his former position as Fuhrer as soon as Reaper decided to awaken the former Fuhrer King Bradley aka Wrath from his suspended animation. Well he knew that things were gonna become really entertaining real soon and honestly he was looking forward to the eventual battle he'd have up against Kor's group.

(Edited with agreement of SilentVex)

DLS was organizing her thoughts and planning strategies. Draco was her main source to bounce off ideas, but she usually was the chief strategist of the clan. Suddenly, Aegil sent her a telepathic message. ”You know nothing of what the cards mean to a Fate, sister. I do not presume facts about you, the least you could do is offer Sedhor the same courtesy. You've no idea how important that card is."  She let out a sighed huff. Then she sent her own message back to them both. 'Do not lecture me brother. I know all too well what Fate's cards are, they foretell future and give insight into each of us. I am not an ignorant animal, no matter what you both think of my kind. His mind was going off on an irrational tangent about that smudge- thinking the worst. I only meant to show him it was not his fate to be harmed. If he had washed his hands and gotten those tea leaves off them, he wouldn't have smudged his card! And stop being so condescending to me. I know my place in this game we are acting out here. '

The dragon prince was mentally off doing something when he heard the message clearly too, seems his 'brother' wasn't being too choosy which dragon demon got the message, or maybe it was sent as a little warning to him too. He didn't care which but perhaps it was a good thing it happened when it did. Then again, until today, he had never met or heard of Aegil or Sedhor, Fate, whatever name he used. After leaving this Father-forsaken dust bowl of a planet, he hoped to never hear of or see them again. “Well, Mother, it seems that our brothers are a bit upset with you. Let's hope that they get off their high and might pedestals and let us get on with our business at hand. Speaking of which, I did locate my little playmate. He has a new and improved body. The next time we meet, it won't be easy to defeat him. Abaddon is now integrated into an full VRE body. And I did locate that stone he was so careful to try and hide from me. It is indeed one of those manufactured things. Alchemy is going to be a big part of the fight.” Draco shook his head. ”One more thing; when I was probing his mind, he did come to and that caused us to connect momentarily. I did a mind sweep so he won't remember it was me, but it registered on their sensors that something was there. I don't know if it was me that it was registered, but we are going to have to be very careful. Even if they cannot read our thoughts, perhaps they can sense something being there. If we actually enter there, they will probably know immediately. I don't know how well your barrier can to hide us as the barrier will be sensed. This may not be quite as easy as you surmised. It would have been so much easier had our brothers not gotten involved.”

The Dragon Demon Queen agreed with Draco with one thing. She couldn't wait to get off this planet, out of this universe and back home. If she hadn't sensed Kor/Reaper, she wouldn't have come here voluntarily. Now that she was here, she wasn't allowed to just end it. Now she had to play games with these others; fight like humans and saiyans. Why did their Father have to let the others get involved? This whole mess could have been over and done with by now had Sedhor never shown up. The innocents could have been transported to safety and this universe wiped from existence, Reaper and his resurrected army of homunculi with them. It was getting to be a royal headache. DLS was hating Kor- both of them- more and more with each passing moment. Reaper would die first, then the other. For now, she would play her part with her 'allies'.

She needed answers and there was only one way to get them. She closed her eyes and cleared her mind. Soon, her thoughts went out to the only one that mattered and she asked her questions. A short time later, she opened her eyes but Draco could see she was far from happy. She turned to him and merely stated, " Father has made it clear that we are to cooperate with the others. He did not offer an explanation, only that as long as the brothers are here, and there will be more, we should accept them all them as allies. He did, however, say that at the outcome of this ordeal, I can take whatever action I feel necessary with the saiyans. He promised that we would go home, we will be safe- one way or another."

After her 'discussion' with her Father, DLS decided it was time to return to the others. She needed to cool off, literally and figuratively first, so she flew high and took a deep nose dive into the water. She stayed under the cool water for quite sometime, far longer than Draco liked. He knew his mother could maintain her position under water for hours when she wanted, but he didn't think they could really afford for her to take that kind of leisurely swim right now., After about twenty minutes he was about to go get her when she suddenly flew out of the water and back to dry land. Her whole demeanor had changed from sullen to back-to-business. "Time to go back. I want you to shield your thoughts from the others, including our brothers. Sedhor has his cards and can tell some things but he cannot read our thoughts with them. Aegil has his devices and can speak to us telepathically, but we can shield our innermost thoughts from him. Be vigilant. I do not want to give any more information about what we think or plan between us to anyone. If they thought I was arrogant before, they have not encountered the real me yet. I will play this out as Father wants, but I don't have to play nicely."

Draco liked this change in his mother's attitude. It didn't bother him in the least that he didn't have to share with the others. "Dragon speak only then?" he asked. A telepathic 'yes' in that special language was his answer. The dragon demon prince smiled. Now the real fun would begin. Mother was in battle mode and so was he.

The two transformed back to humanoid form and DLS took down her barrier and simultaneously transported them back to the meeting room at the pub. A quick scan of Kor's mind told her what she needed to know. He was right, she paid little attention to what he said earlier and she didn't care what he thought of her arrogance. " Draco will go with the team that meets with this Emperor who is really the homunculi Greed. I want nothing to do with it. That leaves me to go get this Fullmetal Alchemist. I find it suspect that someone with his abilities has taken to hiding. So, should we find that he has aligned with Reaper, I will destroy him. You know how I don't like using alchemy, but I will use it against them if I must."

Then she walked over the Sedhor and bent close so only he could hear. Then she whispered,"Trust this, if it is the only thing you ever trust from me. What I did to your card was absolutely necessary. I would never have touched it otherwise. It is the truth and after this is all over, if you need explanation, I will give it to you; but not before. I will never touch your cards again."

Then she straightened up and walked over to Kor. "You seem to want to be in command of this entire operation. After all, we are fighting you, in one form or another. I don't completely trust you, know that, but I will listen to your plans. But if at any time I find you are betraying us, I will not hesitate to kill you - again. Now, exactly how are we to proceed?

Draco changed from wearing clothing normally seen on the planet to his battle attire.

Sometime before the return of the two dragons, the Dakra hologram had disappeared and Dakra returned to silently observing them and the world Kor and the others were in. If he was needed again, he would of course make an appearance again in one form or another. For now though he had known that leaving things up to Kor and the others would be fine.

Kor realized as he saw them enter that DLS seemed to be in higher spirits than she was before. Obviously whatever the two of them had done worked to help prepare them for whatever was to come. Kor while she was gone had put the laptop on his lap and was doing something with it while he talked with everyone else.

Kor: "Well the thing is that Team B is already full. Sedhor, myself, and Fiyah will be on that team. Team C will be Draco, myself once again, and the 3rd Fate that Aegil will be bringing in for that task. That DLS just leaves Team A for you to be on. So that Team will consist of you, myself, Aegil, and Leon Proud since he wants to be either on a team with you or Draco. As for leading this operation, I don't necessarily have to be the one in charge of things tho I am a skilled tactician in my own right and that is why it might be best for me delegate some of these things. As for Team A, I think Aegil should be Team Leader. Team B I think I'll assign myself as the Team Leader. And for Team C, should be either myself or the 3rd Fate. Seeing as I don't know this 3rd Fate I think I'll leave that decision to be decided by Aegil. He knows this 3rd Fate better than any of us do and therefore would be able to decide who would do a better job of leading that team. Now please don't take offense to my choice in the matter of who should be Team C Leader Draco, but from what I've seen from you so far I think you are not the best choice for Team Leader because well to be blunt you are a little too hot headed to be an efficient Team Leader for the task that Team C needs to accomplish. I'm sure you'd make an excellent battlefield commander, but you don't seem to come across as someone who is talented with tasks that require diplomacy instead of war."

As he was saying what he said, he created and displayed a layout of the Teams. After he was done speaking, he let Aegil take his turn at speaking his mind about whether Kor or the 3rd Fate should be the Team Leader of Team C. He offered for Aegil to take the laptop so that he could finish the charting that was being projected onto the largest wall of the room that was also happened to be opposite the bed. The chart displaying the teams Basically was set-up to show the three Teams in bold black letters and a picture of each team Member was shown around it. Teams B & C having 3 members had the members shown in somewhat triangular format around the team they were on and Team A having 4 members had them shown in a somewhat rectangular format around it. In place of a picture for the 3rd Fate was question mark in a circle.

(((I'd've provided an actual picture for that, but I'm not that good at creating stuff like that. If someone wants to make a picture based off what I've described that I can edit in below then that would be great. If not then a description will have to suffice.)))

Team A: Aegil (Team Leader), Kor, Demon Lady Sesshomaru, & Leon Proud
Team B: Kor (Team Leader), Fiyah, & Sedhor
Team C: Kor, Draco, & the 3rd Fate (Team Leader currently undecided)

The two dragon demons stood by quietly as Kor gave out the team assignments. DLS didn't mind at all that her older brother would be team leader. If they wanted a walking, talking computer to do the diplomatic work, that was fine with her. And Leon was a machine, and Edward Elric was partly machine, so they would get along quite well. As for Kor, well that egomaniacal saiyan would have to have his hand in every pot, wouldn't he? Then again, she expected no less from Kor. And she, well, she was just a player in this game. She was just along for the ride.

Kor gave his explanation as to why Draco should not be team leader for his leg of the mission. Draco kept his face still, his mind closed to the saiyan and sent a message to his mother. 'That egomaniac is getting on my last nerves. He has no idea what I am capable of.' But playing the game was the order of the day so Draco calmly said, "I understand Kor. But I am curious. When is the third brother arriving?

DLS remained totally neutral when she answered her son. 'Remain calm. What more would you expect from a saiyan? His words are meant to egg you on. Are you going to let a mere saiyan get to you? '

Number I: Aegil Number X: Sedhor Number IV: Harbinger

Aegil chuckled, bursting forth into full on laughter at the amusing 'third fate' moniker. Turning around, he couldn't help but smile and correct Kor. "Actually, the Emperor in question is the Fourth." He chuckled further and finished a diagnostic on his portable uplink, and shut it down when he was finished. With a snap of his finger he mentally corrected the computer, updating it to read team C's leader as 'Harbinger', the chosen moniker of their sibling.

"Due respect, Draco, however it might be best to approach Emperor Ling and Greed on equal terms. Speaking of which, perhaps it would be time to get going, before fate can become cloudier." Aegil shifted his clothing around with magic, into a comfortable travel-wear varient of his usual lab coat, this one featuring fur accents along a new hood, and an obvious holster on his chest for his 'handgun' and a switch blade.

Sedhor too had gotten himself prepared, though unlike his brother he had no magic to alter his clothing. Regardless, he shifted around the cloak he had, to cover his side better with the sword holstered underneath. He was unsure what DLS had meant when she spoke, though at the moment he supposed it hardly mattered. At least, that was, at the moment. What mattered now was to prepare for the inevitable.

Which was, to say, the climatic clash of this game they were playing. Though when he drew a playing card hand, he couldn't help but frown and put them away. Good thing they had an ace, he figured quietly as he stepped aside to make room, and to put a foot out the door to wait.

And that space made by Sedhor was immediately filled by a solid, black throne, in which a man was seated in formal wear. The chair would disappear as he stood up, and with an elegant bow he would introduce himself. "Harbinger. My name is of no importance, but you may call me by that. I understand one with the strength of a ruler was required?" He had a somewhat... sly smile on his face. Of all three of the brothers, only Harbinger's very presence could feel both uplifting and oppressive, perhaps intimidating. Fitting, for the king of the Fates.

Kor saw the humor in how he had referred to the 4th Fate as the 3rd Fate even tho he hadn't meant it in the way Aegil chose to interpret it. He had just meant that Harbinger was to be the 3rd Fate to be here in this Universe at this time. Kor chuckled when Aegil explained and addressed everybody after exchanging greetings with Harbinger

Kor: "Well then it's nice to meet you Harbinger. Well now that we've figured out the members of each of the 3 Teams I guess it's about time that we split ways. Team B we will use the pub as continue to use the pub as an HQ and well the other two teams will I guess be on their way to obtain assistance from the those they are to find. Team A we should find Edward Elric back in Resembool with his family. Team C we'll find both Emperor Yao and Greed who resides within him most likely somewhere within the confines of the Royal Palace of Xing. Well I'd say farewell, but seeing as I'm gonna continue to accompany everyone it wouldn't make much time. Well anyways time for us to split."

As Kor finished off his thought with the word split he had also split into three Kor's using the Multi-Form Technique and well each and they all ended up saying at least part of the word "split". The two that formed off the center one had ended up saying the last half of the word as they were formed. Kor hoped that him using the technique wouldn't bring up any bad memories of Reaper having used the technique against all those years ago because he knew that he'd have used it against her in a fight and therefore Reaper probably had done so.

(((Well that last part was your cue Suzie Rue to maybe have DLS react to seeing Kor split into three even into 3 even if it is barely noticeable. Tho I guess whether or not she ends up having some sorta flashback or an emotional lapse of control is entirely up to you of course.)))

"Aye."

"Aye, team alpha is it? fine by me." Leon was interested in meeting this Fullmetal, even if he was only partially mechanical. "We'll be getting there by teleporting, aye?" Leon was pretty sure he already knew the answer, given how he got into the pub in the first place, but felt like he should ask.

Number I: Aegil Number X: Sedhor Number IV: Harbinger

"No, the current universe will need time to acclimate to three Fates inhabiting it at the moment. A teleportation on our part could rend the fabric of reality apart, which would threaten not only this universe but all others in conceivable space. So unless we wish reality itself to potentially come to a violent end, it would be... advisable to proceed on foot. Or at the very least, in a way that the inhabitants travel."

Sedhor rolled his eyes at his brother's extremely blunt analysis. While he did agree it would be foolish to teleport at the moment, that was more so because he himself figured it would be less fun. Perhaps it was stupid to care about his personal enjoyment at the moment, given that there was war on everyone's mind, but it didn't matter to him. Everything was gauged to some degree on fun and amusement, it was a necessity to ensure his short lives in each body were well spent. Especially since, inevitably, many of them were forced into violent ends.

The newest arrival was remaining quiet as his brother Sedhor had chose, preferring to take stock of each person in the room. That, and whether or not to add this world to his 'empire'. As a personification of the card, he had a bit of a complex when it came to being king. Perhaps the only ones who would *ever* acknowledge such, however, were Aegil, the Fool, and *MAYBE* DLS, though he hardly spent enough time outside his domains to know for sure.

The Kor on Team A addressed Aegil, while at the same time the Kor on Team C addressed Harbinger.

Kor (Team A): "Well I guess we can travel by train to Resembool, Aegil, if you wish to do it using a method of travel they have here. We could also travel by foot and/or flight as well."

Kor (Team C): "I'd say we have the same option of travel by train until we reach the desert that separates the country of Amestris that we're currently within and the country of Xing, which is our final destination. At that point we'd probably hafta travel by foot, camel, or flight."

As the two Kors on Teams A & C where talking to their respective Team Leaders, the Kor on Team B had nothing to do so he ended up using the laptop to start playing some Final Fantasy X by plugging in a PS3 controller into one of it's USB ports. Of course his version of the game had been reprogrammed by him to allow Multiplayer capabilities, add a New Game Plus function, and to includ a function for the fiends in each region level up as the protagonist's party did so that one could go back and still find the fiends in any region to be a challenge. He had of course also included other many other upgrades to the game too to increase the replayability factor of it and to make it more entertaining as well. Honestly there were so many upgrades that you couldn't even call it the same game as gameplay features went, not as far as the storyline because for the most part the plot of the game had remained the same. As he had started to play the game he noticed that Sedhor was clearly wanting to play too, so he summoned up a second controller and proffered it to Sedhor.

(((Yo Fiyah if you want your character Fiyah to have been interested and wanting to play some of the game too then just include it in your post and I'll go back and edit my post accordingly, okay?)))

"Aye."

"Aye, that's a pretty good reason to not just teleport around." he didn't much mind taking a longer route, since it's not like he's getting any older. "Reality ending will take out Reaper as well, at least. Not all bad, aye?"
After Kor (Team A) finished talking, Leon said: "I cannot fly by myself, so we should ether walk or take the train. Aye, unless someone wants to carry me all the way there."

Team A Kor chuckled when he imagined Leon being carried by himself. He laughed even harder when he imagined Leon having to be carried by DLS seeing as she so far hasn't gotten along with the robot very well and he probably was scared of her or at least as close to scared as he might be capable of becoming of course.

Kor (Team A): "Well unless everyone else can fly and chooses to do it that way I'm assuming that flight is off the table, right Aegil? While I imagine that would be pretty funny for you to have to rely on one of us to fly, I don't think that will be necessary. I mean if we do choose to travel by means of flight, I'm pretty sure we can have Dakra perform some upgrades on you to allow you to be able to fly on your own OR at the very least provide you with an external means of flight. Though ultimately I think it should be up to our Team Leader, Aegil, to decide by what means of travel we go by."

DLS listened to Brother number 3 who had arrived. If the others thought she was arrogant, Harbinger had aces and spades over her in that department. She had never met this brother, but the Father had warned her about his high and mighty attitude. She would be nice, of course, after all he was family, but there were limits as to exactly how much she would take from him. She read this thoughts about who would acknowledge him for who/what he is and that little crack about adding this world to his empire. She smiled and couldn't help but send him a message. 'Welcome brother. Yes, I know you are a king. Your strength as a ruler is needed for a specific purpose and it is expected to be put to good use. But remember you are not the only Royal here. And you do not intimidate me! As for the others, don't expect much from them, especially Kor. He's a saiyan and full of himself. As for adding this dust bowl to your empire, that's up to you. So far, I have found nothing worthy of any of us to want this place as part of our domain. Also, do not underestimate my worth or that of my children. The Father doesn't create that which cannot serve with the ultimate dignity and power.'

At Kor's last suggest, DLS rolled her eyes. Why did they think the dragon demons were here, for show? They had abilities the others didn't and it was about time they used them. " If my older brothers have no objections, just this once for the sake of brevity, I will carry our team to the designated location.' DLS was beginning to regret contacting the Father earlier, but he made it abundantly clear that he wanted her to cooperate and aid the others, for now. "If I put up a barrier, no one will see us flying and even Reaper's ultra-sophisticated gadgetry cannot detect it.Besides, I can get us there almost as quickly as teleportation since it is relatively close by. Draco has the same capability, so that only leaves one team to get to their destination on their own.

"Welly well well, since it looks to be a fat lot of nothing going on, I'll be on my phone. Give me a shout when it's go time." Fiyah said cheerily, pulling out his phone and booting up Grand Order. He wanted to ascend his Saber quickly before moving on to the next. I'm going to have to look into Code Casts, they might provide additional firepower. Assuming the Boss approves. Fiyah thought.

Number I: Aegil Number X: Sedhor Number IV: Harbinger

"There are no problems with such an arraignment. At least, that is, for Resembool. with that there are locations we can set down without attracting unwanted attention. However with the case of team C this won't be as viable forever. There are several dozen detours that would be required to avoid high population centers. The Xinganese appear to use a different form of manipulation with a different energy source. In this case the life of the planet, for lack of a better analogy. Though they wouldn't be able to locate the team in the air, even the queen and her son should know they leave behind at least traces of their energies. It's the one law of the universe even Father won't let us bend, otherwise balance wouldn't ever be possible. And Draco cannot simply fly at maximum speed, as Harbinger's strength, while impressive, wouldn't be able to be maintained at such velocities."

Aegil drew up a small map and chalked out a path, not quite straight, but with only a few bends. "This is the quickest path my calculations leave. It will add an additional half hour or so to the flight, calculating current wind speeds of course, but there won't be any trace remnants left for the locals to detect quick enough to warrant worry from us."

Sedhor was rather, busy, with the game with Kor. He liked this guy already, middle of a soon to be warzone, and the SOB decided to play video games. He could enjoy his company perhaps, more so if the kid could gamble well. He completely secluded himself in the game with Kor, though he was aware enough to be aware of his brothers and the rest of the group.

Harbinger smirked and sent a response to DLS. Of all his brothers, he appeared to be the only one thus far capable of projecting his thoughts to a single telepath. "Of course not. Whether your purpose is what you expect or not, Father makes no mistakes. Why else would he create two such rulers as you and me? As for this world, there are certain resources this world can provide that others cannot. And individuals, such as Kor, have their own reasons for being here and now. I'm rather interested to see how this turns out, to be fully honest."

He spoke up aloud shortly later, addressing those who were to be on his team. "Do try not to destroy too much property on our mission. If this world is useful in the end, I'd rather like to annex it rather than conquer it. Less time rebuilding after my inevitable victory."
