To his credit, Alexander was at least used enough to being on ships and boats that he didn't throw up along the way. Nor did he end up kissing the ground once he was finally deposited on the shores of the island. He was, however, disoriented, and as he let back out Glaive to have a more efficient pair of eyes, he tried to focus on his surroundings and what path he would need to take.
As Argyle stepped out of the cave, he wouldn't be greeted by the sun, but rather a very strange light...

Cosmic Crater
You've passed through many trials to make it this far, but at last you've reached it: the island's center. Before you stretches a massive crater, the bottom filled part way with rain water; but not all is as it should be in this place. The sky doesn't look quite right, and you can't tell if you feel lighter or heavier when you step. It seems like gravity is a bit off in this place, as clouds of rubble pass you by, orbiting one of three chucks of meteorite, each massive enough to create it's own platform. One chunk sits in the dead center of the crater, floating several meters above the ground, rock and debris swirling around it and forming a haphazard sort of path. Down ]below, nestled in the crater bottom, sticking halfway out of the water is the second chunk, looking stalwart, and probably wedged into the ground. Floating high above the others is the third and final piece of the meteorite, dancing near the stars, free of whatever keeps the other two in place. To reach that one, somebody would have to take the risk of leaping between hunks of rock.
Many paths lay before you, but only one will mark the next leg of your adventure...choose wisely.
[Choose one of the three paths-- middle, up, or down. 10/10 posts to complete. 11-20 and 1 are encounters]

Alice would find that the sunday stroll she was taking amidst the bog would soon be interrupted. The sun glinted off a metallic shell as a Pokemon popped out of the water. Lips pursed in a kissy face the Shelmet would spew a thick stream of bog water, splashing both Alice and Vorpal with it before breaking down into a giggle fit. It was like someone had thrown a water-balloon and forgotten to run away after.
Longwei blinked. Then blinked again. Okay that wasn't supposed to happen. Erm...time to move forward. He gently nudged Jin-Hua forward so she would walk forward and then would leave the soot remains behind....It was an accident! He hadn't meant to commit murder!
As luck would have to the Litleo would land clear of the spray, but one couldn't help feel there might have been a missed opportunity there. For the Wooper's part he'd go sliding back a few steps, reading to retreat into the water if things got dicey.

After some debate Argyle would up to go upward. If gravity wasn't going to work right why shouldn't he take advantage of it? Besides going up so high would give him a descent vantage point to view the rest of the area. Making sure Jekyll was holding on tight the young butler would scramble up onto the first shard of debris. From there he'd begin leaping from one stone to another. It was just like hopscotch!.....deadly....deadly hopscotch.
Starter Pokemon: Croagunk [M] Name & Level: Jekyll, Lv 4 [Temperament] Naughty Bio:The story of how Argyle met Jekyll is a bit of an odd one. After purchasing a bulk shipment of skin rejuvenating mud from Sinnoh's Great Marsh (Guarnteed to take twenty years off your appearance!), Mistress Rosevelt had set aside some time for a fully immersive experience with the product, during which she received quite the surprise. It would seem the mud had come with stowaway in the form of an egg. Unfortunately it was about this same time the egg decided to hatch, splattering the aristocratic woman with muck and eggshell. After a shriek and shrill cry for the nearest Argyle to attend her, Verde arrived and was immediately ordered to dispose of the creature, although not before cleaning up the mess it had created. Whispering a snide remark just below his breath, both Mistress and Argyle were in for a surprise when the newly born Croagunk began to snicker devilishly. It seemed the Poison-type had heard the boy, and shared his sense of humor. Amused by this fact the young Butler then went about the task of convincing Mistress Rosevelt that the Croagunk would be quite useful in his regular duties, allowing him to make the manor to "shine as radiantly as you do Mistress Rosevelt". Little more in the way of convincing was required on the boy's part, and so he obtained his first and for the time being only Pokemon.
Since then Jekyll has proven a good match for Argyle, frequently snickering at the boy's comments be they made aloud, or simply implied. Unlike Argyle however Jekyll does nothing to hide his wicked nature, frequently mocking others quite openly and then laughing about it. Though cruel he is not crude, and more than willingly to amuse himself by catching the enemy off guard. Lil Miss Eliea
Unfortunately the Wooper would dive nimbly out of the way, and when he came up yet more Acid Spray would be their reward. One had to wonder if this Pokemon had a serious case of heartburn or something!

This was getting rather annoying as the wooper dodged the attack and retaliated with another acid spray. "Dodge it and counter with tackle." Kiani commanded.
Luckily nothing emerged out of the shadows. Maybe the pair's luck was turning? While the forest was dead silent, it was sort of relaxing to walk though. No noise meant no headaches and Longwei could finally relax after that awful wailing child. Sweet bliss.
Kiani was about to learn a heft lesson about the ways of battle, and one that would come at great cost. Timing is everything. Hurling himself forward the Litleo would instead crash straight through the Wooper's acid. Flesh would sizzle as the acid burned away his fur, much of it burning even deeper, slipping into his bloodstream and touching upon his internal organs. The young cub would be racked with an unbearable amount of pain....and then it would be over. This time however he wouldn't be back. No egg would form. This time Kiani's Litleo was dead for good.
There was still a chance though....if not for her Starter Pokemon, and for her to continue on as a trainer. The Wooper had come out the victor this battle, but it was still weakened. All it would take was one well placed Pokeball and the girl could replace the Pokemon she'd just lost with it's killer.
This time the girl and her Houndour would find their trek had taken them into a place where they were most certainly unwanted. The shuffling of feathers and a harsh caw would alert them to their latest foe. ">Go go go! Get get get! Away from my nest ya rotten thieves! Its mine! ALL MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE!<" The bird squawked. It would seem that they'd annoyed a Wingull by waltzing into it's territory, and it wasn't about to let intruders go so they could lead others back! ">MY SHINIES! CAW!<"
