I don't know if anyone here watches G4TV, but I have been meaning to post about a small little tidbit of information that will probably make its way to several places on this site ^.^ Kasumi beat out Lei Fang along with a few other girls from other games in the Dressed to Kill category. Obtaining a 9.2 for a score she was announced best dressed ^.o Good to hear that people out there love Kasumi as much as we do.

Very good indeed ^^. The outfit that she is wearing in my sig, is my favorit.

I like that one a lots too. heart heart

Its possible, AFTER your opponent is on the ground muahaha! Seriously, as much as I love DOA, the ninjas get away with many flashy moves that are not logical in real fighting. In the Anti-bullshido guild we often talk about the myths of ninjutsu and try to rationalize it, though I still love choosing Kasumi and Ryu is one of my idols, he is alot like The Legendary Sho Kosugi, THE ninja movie master. Ryu probably was based on his characters, who pulled off crazy stuff like teleporting and performing unreal feat of athleticism.

Hey, in a fight to the death screw honor. ninja
Ninja's are just glamorized in videogames and movies, I don't think it's humanly possible to do the stuff they do, that's why they are so cool. And I think most of the characters are based off martial-arts movie stars. Look at Jann-Lee! I think he's based off of Bruce-Lee.

Don't get me wrong. I love the ninjas in the game even Hayate, but other fictions go even further(anyone see Naruto and the rubbish they perform there!) Compare DOA to that and the ninjas on DOA are believable, and then there is Tenchu. The game Tenchu has even more realistic ninja that are quite fragile like real people, fall to far... die, shot with arrows... die, shot with guns... really die, drown... die, get throat sliced... die embarrassingly, the list goes on and on to survive the player MUST use stealth, cunning, and powerful tools giving him/her powers to win, such as breath fire Sasuke style... with oil and torch of course! Climb wall... with claws and grappling hook! Confuse enemies... with the animal call decoy! Heal life threatening injuries... health potion (its probably morphine heh heh) Besides, honor has nothing to do with fights, the best way to survive a fight is not to have a fight at all. But I do believe honor still has a place in this world, especially in the world today, with all the hatred, violence and war we have to live with, honor could be the only thing that makes us human and keeps us from becoming cruel animals.

Most stealth games are like that, the character is human; no special powers. Try Splinter Cell or Metal Gear Solid. And DoA is a fighting a game, it would suck if the laws of physics applied, like dying after being thrown off a cliff. I do agree that the best way to survive a fight is not to get in it, I was joking about the honor thing. Yes honor does separate us from becoming crual animals, but I think we are already there, look at half the stuff on the news. Murder, rape, theft, most of it because of stupid reasons.

i wonder what type of road-kill snake would look like after being thrown of the pinnacle cliffs of the lost world three or four times... and yes, honor has become quite... well, dead recently. then again, your concept of honor changes when your as is geting kicked. take the british in the revolutionary war,

" those damn swine, i cant believe they arent wearing bright colors and walking strait lines, those savage- * shot*

and now, take a look at the americans, (( the following statement is not my opinion agaianst iraqis, or any other middle eastern people, its just resembling the ignorance most americans have on the matter))

" man, im tired of those iraqis, pretending to surrender, and opening fire! makes me sick! its disgusting! it irritates me unles i do it"

but, back to topic, kasumi has a couple of useful throws, she relatively quick in gameplay ( i wish she could run as fast or jump as far as she can in the cutscenes), and her "story" i guess, or her past, is pretty interesting, and is a little similar, minus the ninjas and tournaments, like my past.

Make Naked Snake/Big Boss puke in MGS3 and there is Snake after being thrown of the cliff three or four times, lol. Well, in war honor is your least concern in my opinion, I think staying alive is more important. If she could run as fast or jump as high in the cutscenes wouldn't that make the fights a little one sided concidering not everyone in the game is a ninja?

well, war is a fight for ideals, or, so im told its supposed to be, which means it shouldnt be about blowing up civilians or anything like that, or launching bombs from 15 miles away. but, i suppose the rush of adrenaline can cause most morals to be lost. anyway, i know it would make kasumi insanely ceap, but nearly every character uses their ultimate power in a cutscene, and its irritating when someone can jump from tree to tree and blow them up and throw them or whatever, then just barely suffice throwing someone like bass or leon...

Ideals are just to justify war, but if it was really for ideals then they should fight neutral territory. Not in civilian territory...
BTW, what is Zack special power, besides lady luck, lol.
