"You know I don't do well with orders." She leveled, knowing she would not be able to stand a long confinement to her bed. There was only so much a person could do in bed while feeling unwell...and so hopefully it would all pass. Aurora didn't know what would come at midnight. She knew about the wounds, as one of her past masters had tested as much during her stay with him. A few of her nastier scars were in thanks to him and the trials he ran against her body. He wanted to see just how her demon half worked in relation to the human half. What happened when different kinds of burns, cuts, and acids were set against her. And when he found out about her human day he grew curious as to what would take place between said days. A wound received before would do what after she became human, in the same vein, if she received a wound while human, what took place the next day? The experiments had been relentless, and Aurora shuddered at just the memory of them. This was what she thought about while Sason was away.
Her eyelids were growing heavy; the short nap had not been enough to satisfy her body. Blinking a few times to wake herself up, she was thankful to see Sason with the food soon there after. It had come rather quick, Francis really much have worked fast to get it out, into a bowl, and brought up to her in such a short amount of time. Pulling herself back against the pillows so that she was sitting up, Aurora let out an exhale at the lingering spikes of pain that flared by her actions.
Steam rolled off the soup, and it smelled delicious. Her stomach gave off another low rumble, to which she silenced by picking up the spoon and taking her first taste. It was as good as it smelled. The first spoonful was felt all the way down to her stomach, the warmth slowly spreading from within, though one small taste was not nearly enough to do the job. Placing the utensil back in the soup, Aurora gave the liquid a soft blow before sliding it past her lips once more. "It's very good."

Sason chuckled as he drank his juice slowly "Francis would love hearing that from you" he says smiling and looks at the clock, her day as a human would soon be over and hopefully so would her pain. The thought of her not being in pain or sick any more made him smile softly. As he sat there watching her eat he thought back to the dream and how badly he wished it to be reality. Yo let his body do the talking to convince her his feelings for her were real and not just him blowing smoke. He wanted to claim her entire body as his while he fell truly in love with her, all of her flaws and imperfections would mean nothing if she was his. Her flaws complemented his, where she was stubborn he was easy going and while he was lazy she was hard working. Every thing about her called to his heart and made him want to never leave her side. Finishing his glass he set it down on her night stand ajd refilled it "anything else you'd like until midnight rolls around here soon" he says looking out the window at the cool night sky. It was one of his favorite times of the day, it let him unwind ajd relax l, try ajd be human for once in a while and not the demon king son of Lucifer.

Lifting her own glass of juice to her lips Aurora took a few more bites of the soup until she was satisfied. The vegetables, made for a filling meal, and the energy it had taken to eat had left her feeling groggy once more. Leaning back against the pillows Aurora left the tray in her lap as Sason filled his cup, asking her if there was anything else she would need or want before midnight. A little confused at first, she then realized that he thought everything would be better come the stroke of twelve. 'I guess he wouldn't know, since I've never said anything. How do I tell him that my demon blood won't work the wonders he is thinking it will.'
Aurora of course was unsure about the cold. Certainly her demon blood rising out of dormancy would warm her body, flushing out the chill that her human self was attempting to conquer. But there was no knowing for sure. As for the wounds, Aurora knew what would happen with those. It might be best though to keep it to herself and say nothing. After all, if he knew, and even if her cold was gone, Sason would probably order her to stay in bed, which she did not plan to follow such an order as is. The wounds would not heal as they normally would had she received them on any other day. For whatever reason, a wound dealt on her human day was slow to recover from. It was faster than if she actually was completely mortal, but not by much. The scar by way of what looked to be a chain burned into her skin around the upper thigh was evidence enough of that.
The cut up the back of her leg would not be as big of a deal as the one on her side. Still, she was lucky that the arrow hit her where it did. If it had been shot any further over, Aurora probably would have bled to death, with serious internal issues. "No...I am in need of nothing." Was all she said, deciding to see what midnight would bring before telling him anything.

Sason smiled and nods "and if your wounds don't close up when you return to normal I can help" he says holding up a small blue flame "fire destroys but it can also heal" he says, remembering what the man who taught him the healing side of fire once said; about sealing a wound with flames but doing it in a painless way. Sason relaxed in his chair and simply waited, if nothing else he enjoyed being in her company, having her around relaxed him and hopefully it went both ways. Finally midnight rolled around and he watched her return to the form he knew her best by, and the side he fell for in the beginning. Taking the tray and setting it aside he smiled "how do you feel?" He asked wondering just how fast if at all her pain would go away. He hoped it was quick, he'd hate for her to be stuck in bed all day

There was a blue flame in his hand, like the one he had sent her to keep her warm a few days ago when Shimo visited and brought the ice storm with him. Aurora wasn't sure how well fire could heal, but the times fire had come close to her body it had done anything but. He had said it to be helpful though, so she said nothing to deny him. He had done nothing to show that he couldn't be trusted, but Aurora didn't know that she could let him come close to her with a flame.
Just like Cinderella with the last strike of midnight the change overtook her. Sucking in a deep breath and closing her eyes, the next time she opened them they were once again teal. The normal pitch black of her hair rolled from her roots down the locks, growing as the change occurred. The extra shine and curl came back. The shade of her skin changed, features pulling ever so slightly to something less human. The pain lessened, though it did not disappear completely. The fever remained, but just for now. It would take a little bit of time for her body to counter act that which had happened in the last twenty-four hours. Opening her eyes, Aurora turned to face Sason as he asked her a question. "I feel like myself again." Came her answer, knowing he was probably asking about the pain, but to her, this was more important.

Sason smiled softly seeing her change "I'm glad you're you again, course human you is kinda cute to" he teases and slowly stands up taking the tray with him "if you're not to tired, come downstairs when you're ready and we'll have a drink to celebrate being done with Kahl and his ilk for quite some time" he says walking towards the door and looking back before he leaves. 'I'm so glad I get to keep seeing her face' he thinks to himself before crossing the threshold and leaving. The house is a little quiet, which makes sense it is midnight and most of the staff is either gone or in their rooms. Sason doesn't really expect people to stick around past like 11. So when he sees Francis up and cleaning the kitchen and the tables around it; much like a diner as opposed to a long fancy table most elites have, he's caught off guard a little. "What're you still doing here, shouldn't you be asleep?" He asks handing off the tray so he could clean them. Francis smiles as he cooks "what can I say sir-" Sason inturupts him "oh shut up, you've been here longer than anyone else so for all I care call me Sason or what have you, jesus christ it's so weird hearing sir coming from you" Francis stops and chuckles "well then uhm as I was saying, I couldn't sleep, I was worried about Aurora, I know it was just a fever but after what happened with your brother and Mal I wanted to make sure it wasn't an infection" Sason lowers his head and let's out a short chuckle "I understand, she's fine as far as I know. But either way since you're up why don't you mix drinks? If Aurora comes down it'll be the three of us but either way we survived what I thought would be a slaughter so that seems like a good enough reason to drink to me" Francis laughs and nods. Seems the plan to drink is on

She gave him a huff of a laugh when he complimented her human self. Aurora felt awkward as a human, like things just didn't feel right. The only good thing about it was how quick she could get drunk on that day. It took half the normal amount to intoxicate her weak body. But that's all it ever was to her, a weak body, leaving her vulnerable. She could have died today, her strength was next to none in relation to her attackers, but Sason had come in to make sure that things would not go that far. Nodding as he mentioned having a drink Aurora felt a yawn pull at her lips after he left. Though she definitely had a little energy, the day had been a long one.
It was the least she could do to go downstairs and share a drink with him though. So long as there was none of his wine involved. Pulling back the covers Aurora carefully pulled her legs from bed and then stood. Just as carefully she pulled the dress over her head and changed into something that hadn't just been worn out in the rain. Feeling a little more comfortable, and knowing that her hair would be fine now that it was back to it's normal no tangle locks, Aurora went out to the hall and down the stairs. There was barely a limp in her walk now, and she kept her arm bent at the elbow near her side to protect it from anything else happening to it. Finding Sason and Francis she asked, "Starting without me?"

They both laughed as Francis was mixing drinks like a Vegas bartender, the mixer spending more time spinning ajd in the air than in his hands "simply mixing Sasons drink first" Sason smiled and patted a stool next to him "what're you in the mood for?" He asks as Francis pours out a Strawberry daiquiri for Sason and then pulls out the perfect glass for a long Island iced tea for himself "I can make you anything you request" he says and with that the container is in the air again, him juggling it without even looking at it, he's definately had lots of practice. Sason had found Francis when he was barely scrapping by as a bartender just outside the Vegas Strip, he was a gifted mixer ajd a very talented chef, so Sason offered him a job as his personal chef. Four years later and Sason has him the highest paid person employed by him. Francis has been putting the money aside to take a tour of Europe to study food and drinks and maybe the rest for when he finds a woman for himself he can spoil rotten. Until then he's quite happy here at the estate ajd being the longest employee of Sasons compared to the rest of his staff. To this day Sason pretty much let's him do as he pleases ajd only expects him to cook, between meals the day is his but he spends it practicing new dishes and drinks, often calling Sason to test his creations, not yet has Sason found a bad one

Moving it and hoisting herself up on the stool, Aurora wondered if she really should be having a drink. 'To hell with it.' She thought, thinking that Sason's drink sounded nice and sweet, but not strong enough. What had that drink been called? The one the son at the last house always brought her, it had some different ingredients in it, but the bar looked well enough stocked to handle any sort of request. "What about a Gypsy Girl?"
Francis stopped for a second it seemed, and for a moment Aurora thought she had stumped him with her request. Then he turned as though to check something and nodded, "I can do that."
She gave him a small smile, something else she had started to do with both of the guys. It wasn't much, but it was just a small tug of her lips before it disappeared, and she was watching him flip and toss and turn the mixer cup. "Were you a bartender in a past life?"
"I don't know about a past life. I was one in this one though." He admitted, pouring his long island iced tea and mixing the ingredients for her cocktail next. In a few moments she had a drink of her own in front of her.

Sason laughs "Francis is the best young bartender I've seen in a very long time, only thing limiting him at the time was a terrible paycheck and horrible tips. So I snatched him up and brought him here, in the four years he's been here it's the best hiring decision I've ever made" this brought a small embarrassed smile to his lips "I learned to be good to feed my family, cliche I know but my sister was spending all her money on schooling and my mom simply wasn't bringing in much so I became a bartender and chef, the two things I love to do. After I met Sason my family was much better off, he helped them get on their feet and helped my sister pay the rest of her way through vet school" this time it was Sasons time to be embarrassed, it made him sound like a saint "had to convince him some how" A couple hours and a few drinks later, Francis was obviously off the deep end and could barely stand. Setting down his drink, Sason helped him up to his room. Before Francis left he looked at Aurora "I hope for another kiss love" ajd with that he was out of the room. A couple minutes later ajd Sason had taken his place, showing the same skill and precision as Francis when it came to mixing and more, being able to knock off the cap and fill his drink while the container was in the air. "Well that was fun to hear" he said referring to Francis "I won't do what your other masters have done, call you names or judge you. It's not like there's much there just don't betray me or screw me over and you can stay and do what you please" he says offer g her another drink while he makes a stronger long Island for himself

It was interesting to hear about Francis' past. She had not had much of a chance to read straight from him. When they had kissed, her head was in another place, so while the memories of his past might have passed her, she hadn't clung to any of it. In the kitchen, they hadn't come to touch much. So while Aurora handled a lot of things that he did, pots and pans only held so much because they were not things he clung to for long. His knives gave her a little more, yet he was so focused when cooking that most of the time all she got was what he cooked in the past, or the conversation he might have had with a maid while that was going on. There had been a few women she saw him cook for, which just might have been his mom and sister.
It sounded like Sason had gone above and beyond the norm to help Francis lessen the burden on his family. Finishing off her drink she set the empty glass back down and Francis was already making her another. And so it kept up like that. Aurora let Sason and Francis speak mostly, though added in a few things here and there. As the wee hours of the morning past, each of them consumed more and more alcohol. Her own drink was already twice as strong as a normal cocktail, but even when she tested Francis' knowledge for other drinks, they all came out near as strong. Part of the reason was probably because he was getting drunk.
Aurora was feeling it as well when Sason stood to help Francis off to rest. Breakfast would not be coming in the morning. Just as the thought passed Francis was speaking to her, and she brought her gaze up with a small laugh. "I'm sure I'll be in your dreams." She joked, though doing so reminded her of just the kind of dream she had recently had. Sason didn't take long to return, and for whatever reason he felt he needed a disclaimer. "Good cause otherwise you'd be a hypocrite." She said, not making much of an effort to conceal the words. He'd been the one to sex up all his female staff, it wouldn't be right for him to judge. "What else did my file say?" Usually Aurora wasn't all that interested with that sort of thing, but now she was curious.

Sason sat down and looked at the clock, it would be able the time Francis would start breakfast for the taff so he got back up and went behind the counter. Once he had started preparing ingredients for eggs and bacon; something his whole staff enjoyed thankfully, he finally spoke "it told me about you being a half breed so I knew you'd have a day or two where the other half would come out. It spoke of your power of I guess I could call it clairvoyance ajd a bit about why you had been to multiple shops, didn't say much on that except for the issue with the son. It mentioned your like of alcohol and pleasantries of the physical variety and your love of rain. Not much else there, which is why I want to know more cuz that can't be all of it, people aren't that simple" he finishes and begins whisking eggs and adding ingredients like veggies with skill equal to or better than Francis when he's in his cooking groove. Sason spent a great deal of time in Europe learning to cook from some of the masters. Only reason he had a hired chef was he simply had no time to cook or feed his staff. Being Demon King in the past made him visit the demon world multiple times and often for great amounts of time. Smiling through his cooking he looked up at her "hey how would you feel about visiting my realm one day" he asked out of no where, realising he needed to show her who he was in total before learning her

Down and back up, as though he couldn't make up his mind, but Aurora knew it was only cause he had thought of something else. Food apparently had been his line of thought, and with a glance at the clock, Aurora understood why. She had known it was late, or should one say early? But she hadn't thought it was near this hour. As he listed the things that were in her file Aurora ran a finger over the top of her glass, "That damn woman..." With a final gulp she downed what was left in her cup, "She got the last word in after all." Some things must have been lost along the way, her resume of slave shops was long enough to guarantee her file should have been thicker than that. Still, she could imagine that a few of the shops weren't so good at keeping documents, and besides that she had been traded once or twice from master to master, without the in-between.
"People can be that simple." Aurora countered, "People are only complex because you make them out to be such." The drinks were hitting her, and Aurora was a little freer with her words and willingness to speak. His culinary skill did not go unnoticed, Aurora just didn't remark on it. There were probably many thing he had learned to do. Some of which she already knew; when you lived as long as he had, you had time to do such things. Standing up she leaned over the bar to grab a bottle of something when he asked her about visiting his realm. Finding some rum Aurora poured it into a glass and took a good sip before sitting back down. "I doubt I'd much be welcome. A halfie like me crossing into demon territory might not go so well." It might be interesting to see, Aurora was curious as to what the other realm looked like, but such a situation might not roll over well.

Sason chuckled "if you come with me you'll be fine, it is my realm after all, besides I'm not full demon either. All the demon world cares about it strength, the strongest are royalty and the weakest are food worse slaves." He says dishing up enough eggs and bacon and setting tables for all of the taff just as they start walking, shocked to see Sason cooking and not Francis "He's not feeling well, Francis that is" Sason says explaining the chefs absence. Sason hoped she would come along, there were a few things he wanted to show her, the origin of his weapon make powers as well as the heirloom of the Notori line, the codex. All of the world knowledge packed into a tiny 24 page book with shifting text in every language known to exist. Every demon king in the Notori line has kept this book safe and studied it's secrets, Sason being the one exception, he never had the time to read it but figured it'd be nice to go with a guest, after all the underworld is a lonely place

He was right. No one could say anything if she was walking about with him. Aurora forgot sometimes just who he was when it came to the demon world. Sason didn't exactly act like a ruler of a realm, especially not when one considered that he spent his time here instead of the place he ruled. It probably would have been appropriate to offer to help in the setting of the tables, but he had gone about it so quick, and Aurora wasn't sure she could trust her own feet. At the moment she wasn't feeling any pain, but that could be the alcohol talking.
The staff looked a bit surprised, some of their conversations dying out while they came in to enjoy the simple breakfast. It smelled quite good, and the way the staff dug in after a few moments of wonder caused her to believe it probably tasted just the same. Aurora remained at the bar though, not really interacting with the staff until the maid who she had become friendly with came up and placed a hand on her shoulder. "You look more yourself."
Nodding Aurora put on her best sober face, "Yes. Thank you for yesterday."
"Not a problem. I hope my work wasn't too shotty. It's been a while since I've used such things."
"I think they are holding up nicely." Aurora commented, speaking about the stitches in her side. With that the maid nodded and headed over to a table where some of the other maid's already sat, to join them in breakfast.
