 Mino TsuneshiMino sighed as he overlooked the so called 'Harutopia', reminding himself just where this entire plan began. He was walking a fine line right now between the gratitude of that b*****d who'd saved him, Yamato's good graces, and his own follower's fear that he could control them...losing even one could mean that he'd wind up dead. And yet, he was willing to steep himself into this much darkness, to surround himself as he did with dangers, all so he could draw close to Haruto Mashiba again. He would kill that man for outshining him, just as soon as he could. Just as soon...as he recruited Rocksaus Syncromonium, the only man capable of taking down Pendragon. His thoughts were interrupted by his phone ringing, and Mino quickly clicked it open to answer whoever was calling. "Hello, Chief? There are demons to the north, nearing one of your JPs squads? When did you last receive word from them? ...I'll investigate immediately." Mino's phone clicked shut, and he stood from his kneeling position, shoving the device back in his pocket. It was time for him to get going, to rescue more JPs men. But if he was late, it would be no big loss to him. Mino TsuneshiMino slashed his way through a number of demons with haste that few around him could manage, clearing out another group of the beasties who'd thought they would hunt down civilians. He didn't reveal his reasons for suddenly being so inclined to protect citizens to the JPs agents, but the fact that some of them might have App using talent was what truly drove him. And as for those who didnt', well...at the very least, vermin like that could keep groups like Harutopia busy, all while he gathered the most talented of the remaining individuals like Kizu, and prepared them for the gleeful revenge to come. Mino Tsuneshi"Kizu, the rest of the rats are running your way. Make sure to secure them all." A remark followed which, at the very least, affirmed that she'd handle it and caused Mino to grin, although there were things he really should have been focusing on. Despite her initial hatred, it seemed like the girl was cooling down a bit, and his free-wheeling group really was more to her liking. The type of girl who wanted to cut loose and cut up the things that bothered her could find a lot of enjoyment in a union where anything was allowed, and even Mino was a little taken aback...he could definitely enjoy someone as free spirited and oh so violent, as opposed to one of those tied down by moral ambiguity. He'd just crushed a squad of App Users again, and adding them to his followers would mark the fourth time, already. But this group was much larger than the last two, and with them he'd be able to complete work on the Demonator 5000 Mark III Vr. 2...his dream of a demon-firing cannon that was totally excess and wasteful would be complete in no time! Mino TsuneshiStabby stabby your demons. Mino would poke poke the creatures that wanted to nom nom you and your family with his bladey blade, and they would bleed on the floor like 'splat!'.
That would be how a child described the sight of Mino cutting through a team of demons like it was nothing, sharpening his skills in a free battle as if he were merely training for the fun of it. But he was on a mission, and it required he have his skills down before then. As for the demons he was eliminating...more of them would be by soon enough, in an area this unprotected, but it would take some time. And that was not his problem...everyone here had already perished. Except for that child watching, of course, but he had no intention of saving them... Quote: Mino trains in free battle. Mino TsuneshiAnother one bit the dust. Aaand another one bit the dust. Another bit, yes another one bit, another one bit the dust. Mino cut through another square full of weak demons, though by now he was beginning to think that none of them would be quite able to measure up to a serious fight. But stretching his legs was necessary. He'd built a large little fort, sure...but staying inside of it was actually quite boring. He lived for thrills, and the thought of shutting himself up inside until this disaster was over was ludicrous. Instead, he'd drive demons before him. He knew that it might be just this fickleness that turned his own men on him in the end, but even so...the risk was worth it. Mino TsuneshiA power filled the area, strong enough that Mino could sense it even though the demon was sealed. So this was Coordinate N, another one of JP's rare and powerful sealed demons. This one was clearly different from the seal before, and he could still hear the voices nearby. But he needed that strength, in order to secure his place for now. He needed to find out what was in, even if it was forbidden...and damn it if he wasn't going to blame it on Harutopia! "Demon, hear me! I call upon your power...for Grey Skull!" Power rushed into Mino's body, and although he knew not what trial awaited him, he would endure it...for the power yet to come. "This power...it's so radical! I'm going to fry all of you demons! Just hold still for a minute, ha ha!" Demons ran before Mino as he chased a couple of weaklings like Nekomata and Wendigo through the streets, spouts of fire shooting out here or there in an attempt to consume them. He was glad to be this powerful, even if he hadn't reached the goal he set for himself. He had strength a plenty, a will to dominate all rings, and the One on his- wait, no, that was Sauron. Still, he'd achieved a great amount of power, and he could use it to protect himself from now on. To think that a disaster like this could give him so much of what he'd always wanted...it was beautiful, in a sinister way. Quote: Mino tests out the new limits of his power. Okina was caught in a stasis now with three large factions, but he'd heard that Rioters were being led by another man elsewhere as well, and that in other cities that was common. If Ronaldo wanted to enter their town, he'd find it was much more difficult than he imagined. Okina was Mino's...or, well, "JPs" for the time being... It's better to live with their whispers than with nothing at all..."It was an allied defense...again the Septentrione had come hovering into their Kingdom in all of its unstoppable glory, but this time the Kingdom of Harutopia was able to mount a much more united resistance! Grand Duke Mandingo of the Duchy of Mandragora had set up a line of gunners atop a pair of the taller buildings near the outskirts of the Station to lay down suppressing fire upon intruders and a team of knife-wielding scouts to run back and forth delivering information about any oncoming threats. Despite his awesome name, it was possible that this man was even MORE awesome at administrating the defense of an area. Idly, Haruto wondered how he came into possession of such knowledge and if the Mandingo was actually some kind of a military man in a past life. But like all great, mysterious men, he knew not to ask too many questions about his shady past. You just accepted them for who they were, or they would be rambling on down the ole' dusty trail.
Still, even with the gunners and the scout-ninjas, the defense was difficult...an electric bolt of pure intensity nearly took out the King as he commanded the gunners, but Mandingo himself, sensing the impending doom of his great King, managed to tackle him out of the way at the last second. "Mandingo Life Insurance, Mate. Everybody gets one."

It's better to live with their whispers than with nothing at all..."He wasn't sure if they had done any damage, but the Septentrione had eventually become dissuaded by the resistance of the advance and simply turned away. It was more than the man known now as a 'King' could have hoped for, and the loud cheer that went up amongst his band of survivors was evidence that together, they had just achieved something truly impressive. And it was all thanks to the the Mandingo-Mashiba Alliance. He could only imagine what they might accomplish once the Governor of Chagall Cafe was named and the Governess of Troitown returned to her post. He might have to name a new Governor of that Province eventually, since she seemed more interested in helping around the area...which was cool, really. To each their own thing.
For Haruto, that thing was being a King. For Mandingo, it was being a living meme-slash-legend. And together, they had won the day. Err...minute. One of the spies from the Stone Temple Pilot Bloodhound Gang (what a name!) had infiltrated the Harutopia and dropped a berserk App in the center of the streets while they were returning to the heart of the Capitol! Citizens fled as demons poured out like locusts from the phone, and Haruto knew at once that this was a serious threat to the Kingdom that he had set up for these people in need. He had to think fast, consider his options...fighting head-on, no, too many...hiding wouldn't work because the streets would be overrun! ...No, he had but one choice. Turning his attention towards a little kiosk nearby, his decision was made.
It was time to use the Summoning Terminal!
Running towards the spot and slamming his hand down upon it...he then remembered he needed to activate it with his phone, doing so swiftly as the demons bore down. And then the power filled him, lifted his feet from the ground...and he could hear the voice of the devil inside of his mind whispering instructions. "Maziodyne" He smirked...
"MAZIODYNE!"
Lightning crashed...the devils reduced to little more than magnetite drifting up towards the sky. Just as the power began to drain from him a second voice called out, this one angry...violent, ready to fight! And its power filled him as he raised his phone to the terminal and cried out in his mind, "Maragidyne! Maragidyne!" Screams far off lead him as he hovered down the road, his people cowering in awe of their leader and fear of the devils and the infiltrator who tried to ruin their Harutopia. Not on his watch...and not on the watch of the Mandingo, who could be seen subduing the mole on his own in the distance. The demons, however, were his...

Fire scorched away the demons as his lightning had done only a few moments' past. It was only when the last of them had gone screaming into the Void that he at last let the power drain away once more and returned to the ground...the civilians watching from their windows wide-eyed, cheering and clapping in approval for their heroic leader's success.

It's better to live with their whispers than with nothing at all..."After lengthy battles against Septentriones, infiltrators, and demons, Haruto had finally returned to his Capitol in the movie theater. Things were changing in the Harutopia, as more and more survivors heard the legends of this place and came to join...many of whom were either worthy or unworthy of entry. There was now a system in place to know these things, to judge, and to screen those who had done too much evil to enter. The Kingdom was arranged as thus...
Troll now stood as the gate guardian of the Kingdom, guarding the land-passage (not the train passage) into the town, posting riddles to those who wished entry.
Seiryuu patrolled the skies returning with news of far-off cruelties, of dangers incoming, and kept the land safe from invasion as best he could.
Yama sat upon a seat in an opposite auditorium from Haruto in the theater and acted as a judge for all internal crime. Haruto made sure Power was there as an arbitrator to make sure sentencing wasn't too out of hand.
Jack was his jester, as always.
Berserker was his personal bodyguard, for the time being, though he was apt to fuse him away eventually if need called.

Mandingo was the Grand Duke of Mandragora Province, and Ellie still the Governess of Troitown. May was the Master of Ships patrolling the Ashen Wastes, and the governorship of Chagall Cafe remained up for grabs.
...
And then Haruto himself sat upon his Throne in the Capitol, the central theater of the Cinemaplex...known forevermore as Harutopia. And in the nearby apartments and complexes not yet annexed, the people lived in peace and harmony.
...Sort of...for now.

He stood immediately, ignoring the questioning looks of his constituents until at last one of them asked what they had all been wondering.
"Flying cars...sire?"
...
"We have to show the people that we're looking towards the future, soldier," he nodded stoically as his fighters filed out the door to respond to the threat, negating most of the heft of his dramatic speech, "To show that there will be a tomorrow, we're going to plan for tomorrow! And everybody knows in the future there will be flying cars! It's science."
