Spike continued to gaze at the dancing flames before suddenly jerking his head up and standing. He shoved his panpipes into his pocket and a card slipped from his sleeve to his hand. He stepped outside of the door, his red eyes scanning the area.

Keme's reflexes and training took over when a man stepped out of the house as she drew her hand gun and a throwing dagger ready to defend the scientist and aiming for the man's heart
"Keme, no!" Hoerwick said trying to keep his vioce down as he stepped infront of Keme in order to hide her from the man's view and hoped he didn't noticed her armed and ready, "Uh... Hello there!" calling out to the man from the house
Having no other choice once the comand to stop was recognized by her biomech suit, Keme was forced to lower her weapons. "He could be dangerous..." grumbling slightly about the scientist's choice to stop her as she put her weapons back into hiding

Jessica became entranced by Spike's music, following every note, memorizing his song. She couldn't put her finger on it, but she'd heard that melody before. It felt like deja vu, maybe it had been in a dream. It didn't matter, it would glide through her thoughts for the next few days; maybe by then she'd remember. When the song ended she placed herself closer to the fireplace, and the orange glow of the fire danced across her features. Jessica was comfortably warm and it was making her sleepy; she yawned silently and rubbed her eyes.
But when Spike suddenly got up she was on the alert once again. Her eyes followed him out the door and she thought she could see some sort of movement outside. She whispered to nobody in particular "Another one..?" and she slipped silently to the window to peek out. There was not one but two figures, an older man and a young woman, and moonlight glinted off of something in the girl's hand. Jessica turned towards Spike and warned quietly, "I think their armed. Be careful."

John seemed to be dazing off and looked like he was jus wken up by something, "huh, oh yah, here" he tossed the little bag to aila, "what's goin on now?" he asked confused

Eyes wide with the thought of more armed strangers, Aila quickly scrambled to her feet, pulling the gun, still untouched by Grimm, from the bag. "Somebody's outside," she told Grimm quickly. "Possibly armed."
She peered out the door, half hiding behind the wall.

Ailinea Sneaking further into the hallway, she saw no sight of her attacker. Should she risk going farther? She didn't want to get another ball of flame thrown at her again. She didn't know how quickly her reflexes would act. Deciding to take the safe route out, she opened her jacket and removed a small smoke bomb that was intended to induce sleeping. A knock-out bomb of sorts. Igniting its wick, she threw it around the corner and ran back to her section of the wall, getting away from the gas that began spewing not long after. She waited for the gas to clear before deciding to go check on the creature.
As the strange gaseous smoke poured out around her, Karma crouched in a far corner, hoping the smoke would not reach her. Eventually thought, the smoke began to lick at her nostrils, and she decided to do the only thing she could think of, charge right out of that whole mess. She stuck her nose into a small crevice and took a large gulp of fairly fresh air, before turning around and making a run for the only way out.

"ah crap again?" said john frustrated and tired as he quickly pulled out his chaingun, "here" he said to aila as he tossed an ammo cartidge over to her made specifically for that gun. he raced outside to find spike and jessica already out there. "great, now what?" john asked to spike looking ready to kill, but in a relaxed sort of way.

Keme didn't need to see in order to know other's had joined in outside, still unable to pull a weapon out Keme pulled down her cat hat more in the front to better hide her eyes which were still unmistakably blue at night. Then took a step up and around to Hoerwick's side to observe the people of the house. Two men, two woman definately outnumbered if they turn dangerous. Thinking of a list of combat stats in her head trying to find the one that might help them, just incase. "In my first life," Keme thought, "I wouldn't need to have a mistrust of everyone..."

"great, now what?" john asked to spike looking ready to kill, but in a relaxed sort of way. Aila caught the cartridge rather clumsily. "Thanks!" She gave John a small, clearly forced smile. After a bit of wrestling with the gun and bullets, she finally had the gun loaded and prepared to shoot if she needed to.

"you two girls, aila and jessica, go in the house and take cover, there's something weird about these people." John said in a rather excited voice, "you'll be safer in the house now go." he said in a slightly more frustrated voice. "Okay spike lets get going" he said as a large variety of guns seemed to pop out of nowhere from the gun he was holding in his hand already.

Keme's eyes widened slightly as she saw the man next to the one called "Spike" by the others. He had quite enough fire power to blow Hoerwick and her away. Keme jumped infront of Hoerwick, she would be a small shield incase they fired, "Stop it! We don't mean you any harm!" Shouting at both of them but watching the 'Gun-guy'.

John lowered his weapon slightly, "who the hell are you?" he yelled at them. he thsn stepped closer to them inch by inch just in case they really were dangerous, the side guns of his primary one had retracted back into it, although it had enough fire power to kill them in a matter of seconds.

Keme tried to relax as this time she let the docter speak.
Clearing his throat slightly, "My name is Docter Hoerwick and this," puting a slightly shaking hand on the girl infront of him, "is Keme my friend."
