THE TOTAL HEALING DONE IS 140
Now it was time for Nkosazana to attempt to heal people. She could do this. She could help the people who needed her, she hoped. Surely, she had enough things on her to accomplish that...
The first person who came near her appeared to have a severe burn. Nkosazana winced, giving a small, "Oh no," looking at what she had and wondering what she could do. Well, fire wouldn't help. Neither would bindings. She did have water and alcohol, though, both of which might be of use.
She grabbed the alcohol and applied it to the wound, whispering a small apology as they winced at the sensation. She also gave them some water, in an attempt to cool them down.
Nkosazana seemed relieved as they appeared to calm. She had been able to help, at least.

Rejuvenated by the fact that she had indeed been able to make a difference, Nkosazana looked around for someone else she would be able to assist with what she had.
The next person she came across was bleeding quite profusely from their head. Oh no! What could she do for this? Biting her lips, Nkosazana looked at what she had. Alcohol? No... Fire? No, that was definitely a bad idea. The poor man looked rather alarmed when she glanced down at the fire she had in the first place...
Water! She lifted the water, carefully washing out the wound, despite the wincing the poor man gave, before giving him the rest to take a drink. He could probably use it...
And bindings! Yes, he definitely needed pressure on his head. Carefully, Nkosazana lifted the bindings and wrapped them around, applying pressure to absorb the blood and hopefully stop the bleeding as needed.
Once he seemed to be doing okay, she looked for someone else.

THE TOTAL HEALING DONE IS 150
This was the last she was going to be able to do of this day she was so tired. The last burned knight seemed to be touch and go and she worked for long hours on doing what she could. Finally by the time she was done, it seemed the knight was well and was able to rest without crying in pain. With tears in her own eyes she headed back to the barracks to rest.

On Cherry's next supply run she was lucky, she had been able to find a bottle of water this time to aid her in caring for the wounded.

Cherry went to the first victim she had the right stuff to be able to help, as gently as she could she washed the knights leg wounds and dressed it with a clean bandage. The next wound was worse and Cherry thank her lucky stars she had found water to treat the wound, she cleaned the wound with the water and alcohol. She wished she could do more to take away the knights pain. Cherry left the other leg wound for another healer to care for, since she didn't have enough alcohol to treat all the wounds.

She didn't have any more bindings, Nkosazana noted, having used her last bindings on her prior patient. Hopefully she didn't end up needing any more than that, she thought, grimly, as she looked around for another patient she could maybe help.
The next person who came her way seemed to be utterly keeling over, and soon, Nkosazana realized why. Alarmed, Nkosazana fretted at the determined knight until she sat herself down, leaving Nkosazana wondering how she could stop this bleeding and fast. There was no way she could let her die, but she didn't have any bindings...
Aha! Fire. And alcohol. Perhaps she could disinfect the wound and then cauterize it before it could bleed out any further. Well, maybe she should do that in the other order... Before she proceeded, Nkosazana murmured an apology to the poor knight, who insisted that she couldn't hurt her any worse. Nkosazana thought that was sweet, even if she saw the poor knight tearing up as Nkosazana began the process of properly disinfecting and cauterizing the wound as needed.
Once that was done, Nkosazana worriedly told the poor woman to lay herself on the bed and take a bit of a rest. As much as that woman wanted to go back out there, there was no way she could in her condition...

What number of supply run was this? Time was starting to blur together, faces moreso. Jack barely said a word as he jogged the circuit, feeling less like he was moving and more like he was flying.

It was the first time he walked in to a situation he wasn't ready for.
Looking at the wound in front of him, he frowned a little, wondering what he could do for the man. He had no water to stop the burning, and was low on everything else. Sighing lightly, he promised he would find someone - anyone - to help them, but the sound of agony was horrible for him.
