Tokie blinked and was about to speak when his clap startled her. NO, I WILL NOT DROP THIS FREAKING TEA!"Right, the cookies..." Her smile twitched as she held the cup even tighter. She stuttered out her response, "I-I know--I mean--Thank you!" She turned to find a seat when she heard the teahouse door sound, looking at some familiar, fancy looking person... She sat at a table and glanced down at Mimi and Mochi who were rolling around and lightly meowing at each other, "Well, you guys seem to be taking a liking to this place. I actually like it too...very...welcoming and comfy." She observed the fancy man as she sipped her tea and tried to figure out who exactly he was...curse her bad memory!
"Found them!" it heard from the door and Roz came out triumphant with a fortune cookies box in his hand. He skipped happily to her and sat down opposite her starting to tie up the string holding the box close. "Oh- and they MIGHT be a little hard~ ... they are a FEW days old..." finally opening the box and taking out two fortune cookies and holding them out to her "If you don't mind that you can take them, I was planing on throw them away anyways"
Tokie cheered happily as he returned, "Yay!" She giggled, "That's fine by me, I'll still eat them!" She took the cookies and plopped them in her mouth one at a time, forgetting about the the fortune inside. (Once again, what a strange child...) Not knowing how Phinx would react, Tokie gave him a big hug. "Thank you, sir! I really appreciate it!" Mimi and Mochi followed in pursuit, purring and rubbing their fur against him affectionately.
He stunned by the sudden hug and stood there astonished. "I- um- you..... you're welcome" he got out but still waaaaay to flabbergasted to actually react and hug her back.
Tokie released Phinx and gave him the grandest smile, then had an epiphany. "Hey, what did I do with the fortunes?" She looked on the table, under the table. "They've gotta be around here somewhereeee~--OH MY HOLY MACARON, DID I..." She thought for a moment, remembering her tossing the cookies in her mouth, "No, no, no way! I'm not sure whether I should be more concerned over me not reading the fortune for luck or the fact I ate paper!" She sat, her eyes getting teary out of fear. "Will it cut up my stomach? Will I die? Oh dear, I'm so scared!" Tokie quickly gulped down the rest of her peppermint tea then took a deep breath. She laughed nervously, "M-Maybe the tea will coat my stomach and protect me! Heh! Yeah, no worries, everything will turn out just fine and if you don't see me ever again, you know what happened...heh...oh dear, I'm still scared..."
Yeah he couldn't hold it anymore and buckled in laughter. "HAHAHAHA Y- YOU- HAHAHAHAAAAAA"
Tokie stared at Phinx with a sad smile, "The idea of me possibly dying is...funny...?" She glanced down at her feet as she sighed, "I'm sorry you feel that way..." Mimi and Mochi ran to her side, licking her shoes as a way to try and cheer her up.
