Darren felt quite satisfied with his win when Surge apologized and admitted defeat. He'd been worried when Flynn went down and he was forced to use Hercules in spite of trying not to. He felt as if he hadn't met Surge's standards. "Thank you sir." With the fallen Cloyster falling to the ground it became clear that Nidoran was the victor. The clam Pokemon was returned to its Pokeball with the Trainer holding up yet another Pokeball. The girl could not determine how many Pokemon this person had but as long as Nidoran could take the hit then there was plenty of fight in both of them. “Come out Jynx!” The Pokeball was tossed out and popped out a humanoid looking Pokemon. With blonde-ish hair and purple skin, it was quite the sight to see! The girl returned her female Nidoran and sent out Charmander.

Walking up to the girl they handed her a prize. In her hand she could see that she attained a Leafstone and some sort of berries! This stone could be quite pricey and who knew how valuable these berries might be. Misa thanked the Trainer as they said their goodbyes. There was a bunch of water around and there would surely be a place to get this Good Rod she won at the Gym. There could've been a shop around since Vermillion city was around a grand body of water. It became that time where the girl was able to find a Pokemon Fishing store. Entering the store with a small ring of the door’s bell she made her way straight towards the cashier. Explaining her circumstance as well as showing the voucher the cashier seemed to understanding. Asking for a moment of her time the adult went to to the back of the store to retrieve the item. Misa gazed at the assortment of items well stocked in the store. There were all types of baits, hooks, sinkers, you name it! It was quite colorful and mesmerizing! So much so that the teen didn’t notice that the clerk came back with her pole. Thanking them for their time Misa tucked the pole into her bag and left the store.

There was still one more land Pokemon to be captured. Perhaps Misa would luck out in finding it much like how she lucked out with the Farfetch’d. The City was big though and finding a certain Pokemon within this location would certainly call for quite a bit of time. Misa had already defeated three Gym Leaders. Was there a rush to get to the fourth? There were already plenty of Pokemon on her team that could take on the next Gym. Sure, they would need a bit of training but that wasn’t the hardest part.

Misa pondered this thought on about her next Gym Battle. The girl had been on a roll with these recent challenges.
