With the first Panty Crabs Risotto on the plate, she had to get the second one fired up and done quickly too! It wouldn't do for one plate to be cold while the other was warm! So the grand bois gracefully raced back to her station and got right into the thick of it again, boiling the grab, peeling it, and tearing out its flesh from within the hard exterior. Fresh rice was poured into another pan, boiling nicely, while she got to sauteing the mushrooms again. Pouring in some of that brandy in again, she combined the ingredients together once they were all tender and soft enough. It was then that she was able to realize the mistake she'd made prior. Right, the extra brandy! and the ginger! grabbing some of the gingerbreak bits from the ingredients quickly, she hurried back to her stove and started to shave some of it on top. Perfect! Cranking the heat up again, she poured in a touch of the oil from before, and began the plating process. Garnishes here and there, and the panty laid right on top. There... just right. With both plates finished, she went on to her customer to present the two dishes, "Please enjoy!"

Rushing back to the kitchen, he started trying to gather the substitute ingredients, being particularly choosy with what he had to work with. He had to be sure everything was perfect. This ghoul was completely insane, anyway. He didn't want to give her any more reason to complain or threaten, or whatever it was she did.

Back in the Kitchen, Chase set about finding his instructions and ingredients for the Panty Crab Risotto. He'd honestly never made this dish before, but he was pretty sure he could figure it out.

First thing was first. Taking care of the crab. He needed to kill it, right? Sure. So he did the logical thing, and put a claw through it's head, panty, shell and all. THEN he dumped it in the boiling water.

While the crab was boiling, he sliced the required mushrooms, and tossed them in a pan. The instructions said 5th Circle of Hell, but he didn't have time, so he turned it up a little more.

It was at this moment he realized his crab was probably overcooked. So, in a panicked flail, he retrieved the crab and THEN pulled the meat out of the shell. As per instruction, he added it to a pan with the rice, and a little booberry brandy. This was coming together nicely...he knew to keep an eye on it so as not to overcook the rice, when he realized that he'd forgotten about the mushrooms. They had no sear. They had more of a char going on. >>

Chase... didn't have time to fix it. The crab was already overcooked, but with luck the rice wasn't. So, he added those burnt mushrooms to the dish, along with another splash of brandy.

How much gingerbreak bits should he shave in? A lot. He needed to hide the charred mushroom flavor. It would totally balance out. Yes, yes it would.

At about this time, Chase might have realized he was flustered...if he weren't so flustered.

He turned the fire back up for the finale, and prepared to add the oil. Too much oil, it seemed. And that stuff splashes, and then you end up with a fire. Chase had a fire. An oil fire. A small one, wait no that was a big flare. "Um, Um...." Feeling a need to protect his dish, Chase set the charred mess on another burner, then covered his fire with a pan. Then a larger pan. That would work, right? Sure.

He still needed to get this food out to the diner.

So, he turned around, dumped the risotto onto the plate....and realied he'd tossed the panties out with the shell. Damn. Well, if he piled it up pretty, and put some crab on the top, then shaved a little more gingerbread onto it... Yeah. that was... passable.

Chase took the plate, overcooked crab, burned mushrooms, extra oil, too much gingerbreak, and a little too much burning, out to the diner "Please enjoy." And then he turned around and walked away.

Shame filled him. That was...horrible.

When the dish was placed in front of her, the gym teacher cautiously picked up a fork and hesitantly poked it. The teacher recoiled as the entire pudding attached itself to the spoon, dragging itself and the plate up and off the table. "Ah... Thank you," she told the contestant, her eyes focused on the violently pink pudding that was now attempting to crawl up the spoon. Absently, the professor wondered how she was supposed to eat it. On the other hand...

The Amityville professor dropped the plate and grabbed the spoon. On the other hand, the Professor could always appreciate a good challenge. A for effort.

Quillan scurried over to the Student Council President's table to take his order. After quickly scribbling down what he had said on his notepad - a meal consisting of a tea deer skellington and a strawberry tart treat pudding, he smiled as reassuringly as he could and he headed back to make the order. He then messed up and walked back to the table to say "I'll be back with your food soon!" before awkwardly walking away again.

Luckily, the boil had already made the exact same order before for another guest, so he should hopefully be able to find the ingredients faster and make fewer mistakes. As he walked into the kitchen, a spring in his step, he whispered to a chef who was leaving the kitchen ,"Im cooking for the school pres!"

He came sauntering in as casually as you please, hands stuck deep into the pockets of his pants, his white-blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail at the nape of his neck. Professor Zachary Zephron, head of the potions classes at Amityville High, surveyed the room with mild interest, peering at all of the contestants.

Professor Red received a vague smile as the hellhound sat himself at the nearest table. He glanced curiously from one person to the next and then leaned back in his chair, looking rather relaxed as he crossed one leg over the other, his tail swishing behind him.

"I think..." he started to say thoughtfully, and then changed his mind about three times before actually ordering.

"Okay, okay," Zephron said at last. "I think I'll have the Panty Crab Ripsotto, that sounds great. Two orders of that, if you please. Oh, and if I could get it without the gingerbreak bits and with a bit of extra brandy added, that would be perfect."

SPLORCH!

A pink pudding gently slid to a stop in front of Professor Zachary Zephron. From a table over, Professor Red held up her hands innocently. "Can I interest you in a bite of pudding, Zach? I fear my spoon isn't quite blunt enough to get through the Fear of it, though I suppose that's what I get for asking for additional Fear."
