I waited for like exactly 10 seconds and tried even waiting a minute to click the gifts in the Barton tree but this message keeps popping out "Don't shred all your presents at once. Wait 10 seconds or so between each one." This glitch has wasted nearly a week of opening gifts for me. Please fix it! Thanks heartcrying

So, I want to thank you for the item sink.. But you did the same thing you did last time. You went off market pricing, making it possible for a gold shop emoji face to be turned in for over 2000 points, instantly finishing the event.
Please, do an item sink again soon, but do it right:
1. Close down the gold shops during the event (and take the time to up the prices for plat [I'd go even further to say merge items of the same layer into one item to make them worth the new prices, ie all gloves in one item, all pants of one layer in one item]).
2. Make the event about the # of items donated, not the value.
3. Make a value part that doesn't count any gold shop items.
4. ???
5. Leave the event running full time and fix the item economy.
6. Work on gold sinks (like expensive backgrounds in Dernier Cri).
We appreciate the feedback and I also just have some personal thoughts on the matter, we know everyone is going to participate in the event at their own pace. Some people really only do have X amount of items in their inventory and Y amount of Platinum, so if they choose to participate that way, then I (personally) am okay with that! For everyone else who has hoarded things, caches, wing stamps, blue tank tops, etc, we think this is a wonderful opportunity for them to do some spring cleaning! At the end of the day, I believe, people will only get rid of what they want to get rid of, but if they happen to get rid of more than necessary, more power to them!
I believe users still enjoy caroling and the items that come with it, so at the time, shutting down gold shops wouldn't have been in their favor.
We plan on doing more sinks in the future when time and resources permit.
There was a lot of consideration on high priced gold shop items, but from past feedback there is a lot of dislike from users when we tend to price anything higher than 500p in gold shops. But we will always be circling back to these thoughts as time passes.

I was unable to open any Barton Christmas gifts for the second year in a row. It is stuck on the don't shred message. I posted about it in the game bugs forum last year and again this year. Will you look into this please? Thank you.
Sorry I haven't fixed this bug yet because I couldn't reproduce it consistently. I will try again this week.
Halloween 2018 recovery tool does not work! I have tried it on my 3 remaining avis and it just says that nothing is to be found!! Those Christmas gift bags that are from 2016 are still there. They should have been traded out for the Halloween 2K18 ones. Anyone else brought this to your attention??
Looks like the recovery tool isn't working for some people, I will make some changes tonight to fix the issue.

I'll start a thread about this issue, sorry I didn't know it was a problem until now.
In the future, if/when we do more events based on item donation drives, can you please include a search function and/or a "jump to page" option? For people with large inventories, it may help to not have to keep scrolling through hundreds of small pages especially since it appears you have to refresh and start from page 1 again for optimal function.
It is a good type of event though!
Our first attempt in organization with having boxes still needs a lot of work. Hopefully it'll be up to a point where you can easily sort and organize items. Will also try to put more donation drives in mind for future events.

The Galexa plot is taking a hiatus, we will try to incorporate them in future events later.
Will there ever be opportunities to find/earn stars during events, like with wing stamps?
We planning on having opportunities to earn stars through more means in the future!

I know you all probably have an event planned for Valentines Day, but I remember one from a few years ago (specifically 2015) called Love Me or Love Me Not in the forums where NPCs randomly showed up and hearts granted on different posts I think it was? This was super fun, could we see it brought back some day?
We spent a tremendous amount of time on each holiday event and often the code just get scrapped and never used again... we should consider combining many of the older mechanics in later events. sweatdrop

4,700,000,000 to make chocolate... and its 100,000,000,000 for one stove, plus more for more stoves? And a three hour wait time? Fix this. Do not do this in future events, this is incredibly hurtful to all players, whales and non whales alike. Not fair to players who do not have the time on their hands to farm 100,000,000,000 gold/10000 plat becuase of school/college/jobs (especially players with jobs, since they put money in Gaia's pocket). So my question is, will we see more events that are this expensive in the future? I'd also suggest adding some event emojis to be added per event for bumping in the event forum, to show everyone which team we decided to join in this event?
I'm sorry if the event end up being too costly to gain the rewards. We setup the event to be more of a gold sink but for future events we will balance things out some more.

There was a glitch today after the valentines event grant were some users suddenly had their gold count climb by over 2T. Will this be fixed? When? Can we spend our other gold in the meantime or should be abstain from market activity?

Yes we had an awful bug this morning at around 10:30. The bug should be fixed and the extra gold had been deducted. You should be able to spend your gold now.

I was wondering about the final achievement for the valentine's event. I had gotten my gold today, but the achievement still hasn't granted. Is there an issue with it granting?
Let me check with the event team. It should probably be granted soon if not already.
Team Fondue here. We still have excess trillions of gold that was wrongfully granted. Any update on this?
We ran another script last week to deal with the issue. Looks like it didn't go through. I will check with the team to verify the results again. Sorry for the long standing bug.

I know Lanzer replied to someone in last week's ATS about this, but I was wondering if there are any new updates/information about this issue? It's been two weeks and we still have the excess plat/gold on our accounts. sweatdrop
I was on Team Fondue. If this helps in anyway, the browser I use is Google Chrome. I have not bought or sold anything while this bug has been going on.
