November 19th, 2019: Lanzer Kaenai FeaturesAny idea whether you guys will release a new inventory arranger? The one that's out now is very tedious for folks with large inventories. I currently have nearly 11k items, and i know some folks have more. It's almost impossible to use with so many items. Also, in the meantime, can we have the list view back? as well as the ability to sort by layer? Sorry I know that the re-design had been pushed back due to lack of resources, but we will have a re-design when we get a chance to.

I haven't yet, please provide me with any items that is not working for you. It's EVERY item created after sometime around april 2018. Sorry let me be more specific. Please provide an item name or item id, then I wouldn't need to start with start by looking through past item schedules, filter by item type, etc. The faster I can troubleshoot, the faster I can fix a bug. Thanks.

This would give us an easy way to view our items sorted by value, since market results already have that functionality built in. An option to only see items we don't already own would be nice as well. We can have filters for filtering out or displaying items you own.

January 28th, 2020: Lanzer Purrsuasive opening rigsIs there a way you guys can make it so that the boxes don't shift so much each time you open them? And also not refresh the page each time? Saw someone post this in CB the other day and thought I might bring it up, since opening an abundance of rigs at once can get tedious with the constant refreshes and moving boxes! Hmm, we can make a sorting option that will only display the most recent 1000 items you owned, then that should make things a lot faster. The trick here is that we can't sort all your items at once because some Gaians have over 80,000 items that sorting will take a long time, but that's something we can add real quick. Let me know if that'll help and I'll add to the to-do list. I think we can add some Javascript on the page to refresh without reloading the page. Will need to do some digging as that part of the code is pretty old. Here's the thread just as a reminder. >> Went through some of the Q's and noticed Pandy Belle-chan's question about searching for paw items, and I think my question goes in tandem with this? I remember working on this issue and it's an odd problem where some search weren't working correctly. I'll spend more time on it this week and have it fixed for good.

February 11th, 2020: Lanzer Fluzzmo is it possible to add a feature where you can sort your inventory by each items wealth!!?!!? We had this function in testing, haven't released for wide release as it was super slow for Gaians with more than 20,000 items. Maybe we'll have it available when item count is below that.

Ideally I wish it would still appear in the main inventory similar to how "currently equipped" icons stand out, but with something like a mask silhouette over the center to flag it as "equipped on Persona". I'd love it you could still use them in Dress Up [aka design avatars knowing your full inventory range] even if you couldn't wear it while the Persona is using some of the items. That is an interesting idea! We will make sure to pass this along to the Developers!

There's a pop-up saying that I am not logged in, and it won't accept the fact that I'm actually logged in (something about transmitting failure). I know the day would come when Flash goes away (I still have frozen Aquarium items I need to get rid of, but anyway-), does that mean the old arranger is officially dead?  I didn't know that the old arranger isn't working. I'll look into it and hopefully it'll be a easy fix. If the current arranger cannot move frozen aquarium items then I should be fixing that too. Lanzer DarkRybrin Inventory - Alternate MethodThank you for reading my post today! I follow ATS fairly regularly, especially about the long term problem that is Inventories. The two most commonly asked for features are a. a bugfix of the shuffling bug, and b. the locate by price/unlisted function. While there is no easy answer for the shuffling, you've tried several times to fix it and any major fixes could destroy everyone's precious organization, I have a recommendation for the other option. The major problem of pricing inventories/finding unlisted items in inventories, seems to be how -massive- inventories have gotten. Users with inventories 50k+ are decently common, with how slow it is to sell items. Multiple times you've talked about features for users with tiny inventories, 10-15k max. Compromise:Like we have Storage Box, and a Temporary Box, we should have a Market box on the sidebar. This Market box could hold a maximum of 600 items, likely less to not overload the system, and could have a button that says 'sort', sorting items by price, or by if there are any listings for that item currently. Users would have to put items into organize in the box, but would take away the problem of inventories being massive and slowing/clogging the system with requests. Don't sort the whole inventory, just a little of it.Reasoning:While people are curious about their whole inventory worth, that's not why everyone asks for the feature. What the vast majority of people want is simply to tell 'What can I sell for the most profit -right now-?' or 'What isn't listed so I can make a profit from it?'. It's about usage of the marketplace and obtaining more items. Just a small box that sorts for the user when the user adds items to it would solve the problem, without you having to make the whole system handle a billion requests for inventories of truly massive size. This would make it obtainable and make many users happy, as well as improve the marketplace. Thank you for your time with this. I think this would be easier than tackling the whole system at once. As faster return with less work and less danger of instability. I have a new idea on how we can re-order and rid of the re-order issue. Please hang tight and we'll update the system ASAP. sweatdrop

What does the 'reordering' exactly entail, even vaguely? That only dealt with the first part of my post.Currently every item has a sort order number, and this number is re-sorted every time an item is moved. The current code handles a lot of the sorting on the client side, but the client typically only have the current page's inventory and sort numbers handy, and trying to sync between client and server is where the code started introducing problems, especially now that we have global stacking options. Any future changes will make all the calculations on the server end to prevent any type of syncing issues. You've stated multiple times it's large inventories that are the problem, but what if you only asked the system to sort a small selection of items at once? Lanzer god n1t30wl xiii ssc inventory would you consider adding a radio button so that users can toggle between the old nav bar for inventory and the new one the feature exists for displaying aquariums, footers, gold or plat , and many other features. and im just wondering why it wasnt offered as an option when the new inventory navbar was made. there were a handful of unhappy users about the new inventory navbar and this could fix those issues for them We are going to add more tabs soon and keeping the old tab system is going to be a problem specifically for that. I will ask the team about this or potential alternatives.

April 21st, 2020: Lanzer Typical Logic Feature?This is my first time ever asking a question! So I arrange my inventory with the old inventory arranger. Some items cannot be seen when I'm organizing. It's only the new items. Is there a way to fix this in the OLD inventory arranger?I don't like the new one because it moves things around that I don't move. It essentially undos what I do, even though I save. I've attached an image to show what it looks like. Sorry for the bugs in the current inventory system. We will be performing an overhaul of the system soon to fix the rearranging issue.

When I am cleaning out inventory, I usually want to get rid of duplicates I have. So being able to see which items I have most copies of first helps this process a lot. Hmm, I'll add this to the to-do list, should not be hard when we have additional sorting functions.
