"Hmm, I figured you'd tell me when your not a blubbering idiot. Your ability to stay stable is thrown off when the tears are in motion." Marlo picked up a lettuce leaf and scooped some of the sweet meat filling into it, wrapping the green up, he took a bite. "Welcome."

"Sorry..." Kail apologized when Marlo called him a blubbering idiot. He felt like he had cried a lot recently. He wiped away what he could of his tears with the back of his hand feeling foolish for crying now. He prepared a lettuce wrap and ate silently sipping the soup in between.

Dinner was quite nice, say so cause he cooked it himself. "What a good meal." Marlo picked up his dishes and placed them in the sink and put the leftovers in the fridge. "Looks like there is some more for lunch tomorrow." He picked up the medicine bottle and handed a pill to Kail. "You'll be able to sleep once you take this. Though looks like we have time to watch some TV and talk."

"It was very good thank you again for cooking." Kail thanked when he finished moving to clear his dishes as well. While Marlo put away the left overs Kail moved to do the dishes nodding when the man said there would be enough for lunch the next day. Pausing to take the pill handed to him he nodded when Marlo said he would be able to sleep. "That sounds nice, i'll just wash these and come join you."

"Any time, well just follow the sound of the TV when your done." Marlo left him to the chore. He collapsed on the couch and flicked on the television with the remote, lazily turning to a random channel.

Kail nodded when he was told to follow the noise of the tv. He washed the dishes and then moved into the living room where he heard the tv. He stood in the doorway unsure if he was supposed to sit on the couch or not.

Marlo shimmied himself so his feet were propped up on the coffee table, making room for Kail to sit. "So, where you board while I was gone?"

Kail moved to the couch when Marlo scooted up a bit making room for him. "Of course I was bored. I don't have any friends but you." Kail pouted. "I didn't know what to do with myself for awhile. The first couple of days I even picked up the phone to call your house before I remembered you were gone." Kail sighed running a hand through his dark hair.

"You should have called." Marlo softly ruffed his hair up. "I would have gladly got up in the middle of the night to talk to you. I had my Gram."

"I was still mad at you for leaving me when I remembered. Then after awhile I felt foolish for being mad but I still couldn't bring myself to call you. I knew calling you wouldn't be good enough. I mean sure I would get to talk to you but I would get to see you not really." Kail explained giving a soft smile when the man ruffled his hair. He was glad to hear Marlo would have gotten up in the middle of the night to talk with him.

"But you wouldn't have actually been here and it would have made me feel worse." Kail stated with a huff. Video messages would have been okay for a time before he truly missed having Marlo there with him.

"Just because I couldn't be there in person doesn't mean you can't feel me in here." Marlo gave a light tap to Kails chest.

Kail nodded when Marlo reminded him that just because he couldn't be there in person that he wasn't really there. "I know I just missed you and I was angry at the situation but I shouldn't have taken it out on you by not calling." Kail apologized.

"I'm used to the way you behave, so its fine. But once you cooled off, you should have instead of have not, called me." Marlo ruffed his hair again but kept his hand on Kails head. "Mr. Spitfire."
