Silent Cartoon Oh man I've really been gone a long time what the heckie happened over at the Marketplace?? Here's an explanation: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/gaia-guides-and-resources/welcome-back-the-gcd-s-inflation-recap-v-3/t.91957757/ The sad thing is, to find it, I only had to go to the first page of the GCD to find one of the COUNTLESS threads made by confused returnees asking the very same question. But hey, Gaia doesn't care! Those gold generators are selling like gangbusters, AND devaluing gold so that GCash is a stronger currency. Two birds, one stone! Chibi Halo That was a very bad day for me when I wrote that plus the guild is losing some steam as school is back in session. I was frustrated and ignoring the guild far too much. Having trouble keeping the guild active? I admit, I wouldn't have even known about it if a friend of mine hadn't clued me in... sweatdrop Nyx's faction seems to be a lot more visible... do you have a GCD thread like Slick's?

I appreciate it.;; Okay this has been tweaked a few times but this is everything you need to know why the marketplace is the way it is.
Also, just so you know the tax on the marketplace has been raised a couple of times while you were gone to try and balance out the massive amounts of gold floating around, first to three percent and now to five percent.
And don't forget to check out the GCD thread where we've been discussing the manga each week and every little plot theory we can come up with.

Not so random stud farm sign I passed by today to celebrate the back to school season: "ABS bulls stud-y genetics in cow-lege." Man I love the ABS signs, just wish I knew what the other side said. xp
And I hope I didn't upset someone because of an honest error I made this morning with the Best Dressed Humans contest. I don't know if he was miffed because of the way I'm doing the voting or if it was because I totally missed adding him to the "gallery" list. Hopefully, he'll accept my apology.

I'm slowly working on it. I'm much more creative and inspired at night, and trying to channel it so that I'm that creative and inspired during the day time and not just at night. Tbh though, I only get this bad during the summer. I partly sleep all day so that my summer passes faster. I hate hot weather so ******** much, you've no idea. A part of me wishes that it was like in Game of Thrones; Where they have those long a** winters and s**t, and I can just play in the snow all the time, and sleep under, like, ten blankets. Then again, if that really were to happen we'd be ********- starvation, and mass chaos would break out. But imagine if there was a zombie apocalypse in the middle of winter. D'you know how ******** safe we'd actually be? Those ******** would freeze and we'd be totally fine!. . . . Wait, what if it's the zombies that just run at you at full ******** speed?. . Yo, my a** can't run too much. I've got knee issues. I guess that's why I better carry a blunt object with me more often. Add that to the s**t I carry about in my messenger bag; I carry with me: a JTHM comic book, a roll of electrician's tape, duct tape, pens, sharpies, notebooks, glasses case, a mini tool kit, basic medical supplies, a pocket sewing kit, my knife sharpener, and a pack of sugar free mint gum. Once in a while I carry my tablet with me, too. But I leave it at home ever since that one scare I had. It's a long ********, I'm so sorry guys. I didn't realize I was going on. See what this s**t has done to me? I can't get ANY real work done. Dude, I'm gonna fix my sleep schedule. Cut out caffeine after 4pm, no naps after 5pm. I really need to buckle down now, man. I'm so serious. If I go to sleep now I can wake up at 1pm. I'm banking on it.

Time to get some dinner and then get to work on the fundraising for the Halloween event. I want to have that up and running by Wednesday at the latest so we can try and get another ten billion in guild funds.

I'll admit, I direct most of my energy to making sure the GCA doesn't fall off the GCD first page. The guild so quiet I can't talk myself. emo

Well gang I hope your Tuesday is better than your Monday and you take the time to really think about what's important concerning your life and this site. Because when you stop to think about it certain situations we find ourselves involved with are designed to feed off feelings of shock and rage and take the first thoughts in our heads and twist them for their own gains. Even if someone doesn't start out with the intentions of trolling the entire site, the sense of inflated importance they get when they leak people's personal information and expose who owns what accounts as if it were some kind of game to them sucks in more people than you would think possible right now.
The GCD is a mess and it has been for the last year. However, it's worse right now because of how slow it's been going the last couple of months. Something changed when the Beach Party showed up and the days of our thread falling off the first page because someone didn't post in it for nearly twelve hours are gone. After Monday the forum will no doubt become a shell of what it once was and all because of two people. Some would say it was because they're heroes who dared to stand up to Gaia. I say they're fools who are in way over their heads and got off way lighter than they should have and are now telling people that no one will ever get in trouble for posting in their threads because the staff can't touch them.
I don't want to argue about what the staff did or didn't do or where the gold did or didn't come from because I'm done with that. I said stupid things and got called stupid things by people I thought I knew for six years. The point is when you stick to your guns about what's important to you in life, be it at school or work or even in your political views, you're going to ruffle a few feathers and you'll lose some friends along the way because of it. Maybe you'll get them back and maybe you won't but when the dust settles you'll find out who your true friends are.
And right now I am walking on a lot of eggshells because I don't want to ruin the reputation of a few groups and people I really care about right now. I'm done with the social justice warriors of the GCD and the SF for a very long time.

Don't mind me right now gang. Sometimes when things get this way around my life I tend to ramble and focus too much on certain things like having someone in their fifties who should know better call you baseless names for having concerns. At any rate you guys are what's important right now on Gaia along with the plot and my Barton friends.
