Ephira finished her meal, bowed, and thanked Kassandra for the meal. "I will be going to scout the area Ms. Should you need me you know how to contact me at any time."
At the beginning of their.....arrangement, for lack of a better term, Ephira had given the queen a tiny crystal whistle, which she had tuned specfifcally for her ears only. She could hear it from any where. She had provided it so she wouldn't have to stay couped up in the palace all the time.
She quietly left the room and headed for the putter wall just outside of the festivities that were going on. She wouldn't blend with the massive crowd but she would keep watch from atop the guarding walls.

Ritic looked at the setting sun as he grips his bow and arrow set close to him for protection. "Mom what do I do? I know I can't do this....." His voice was soft but he kept to himself. "You always knew what to do...." Sighing the young halfling went to go wander a bit before he hears rustling out by the trees. "Who is there?!" He yells out knowing demons and other things are out n about this time of night.

Rini had been following him for the last few months, per request of his parents in case something would happen to them, she had thought she was being more careful but he had heard her.
The fairie peeked out from where she had been watching and looked at an arrow pointed at her. She squeaked and dived back into the leaves.

Ritic kept his bow at ready but pointed downward. Quickly going to her side putting his arrows away. "Hey its okay... I wont hurt you..." His blue tunic blowing in the wind.

Rink poked her head out enough for her to see his worried expression. "Do you always aim a loaded bow at people you dont know?!" It came out super squeaky even for her normally high pitched voice.

Ritic looked away. "Sorry and with the life ive lead so far yes and im sorry..." Holding out a gental hand to the faery before him. "Im Ritic Faye... Who are you?" He asks with curiosity lingering in his voice.

"Oh I know who you are. And my name is Rini. I'm a special kind of fairies, but that will come later. Pleased to meet you." She said taking his hand. A jolt went through her arm letting her see the last few months of his life and the next few months, though they would always be changing.

The young halfling was confused about her saying she knew of him even thpugh they never met. "Well Rini... I was about to wonder the gardens just to look around.... Youre more then welcome to join me..." He says standing up and stretchimg slightly before grabbing his bow and arrow cashe.

Rini regarded him for a brief moment, then she floated up next to him. She was no bigger than his head but it was never an issue before. She floated along side him in silence simply enjoying his company rather than just watching him from a distance.
"So how are the queen and her subjects treating you?"

Ritic looked at her with cyan eyes full of meloncally. "Truthfully? Her Majesty has been very welcoming but her guards and people...... not so much...... Yeah Ephira and a few others were nice but....." He sighs "I miss home."
