The bridge that leads from you to me

I climbed I slipped I fell but at least I tried
If you turn your back, I'll burn that bridge ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Mirai glanced over at Texas as he put his hand on her, her expression blank as she looked at him. Her gaze went towards the mansion "I guess..." She said before she began walking. Texas seemed to be acting more demonic than usual. Regardless if Atticus was a jerk, he was still her brother. And he was going to die soon. She wished she had a bit more time to actually converse with him and not fight. She wished Texas and Atticus the same as well.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas lowered his arm. "I'm guessing that's a new form then? Impressive." He walked with her, not saying anything. "So, what now?" He asked as they walked, looking around at the realm though he didn't seem that interested in it. He looked back at her, folding his arms as he walked. "There's not much going on in this place though it's your first realm so it's not too bad." And I just want to show them.

Mirai stopped and glanced back at Texas. She was silent for a moment before turning and facing him all the way. She tilted her head to the side slightly "Are you feeling okay? You sound weird." she asked, giving him a puzzled look. He seemed off. Before he seemed pretty ecstatic about the realm and now he was shrugging it off as if it were nothing. His speech seemed different too, more formal in a way.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas stopped when Mirai did, staring back at her as she looked at him. "Yeah, I'm fine," he told her, giving her a smile. "Why? What's wrong? Are you feeling okay?" He kept his arms folded as he watched her evenly, not showing any hint of what he was thinking. And I just want to show them.

Mirai blinked and stood up straight "The way you are talking sounds weird that's all. Your emotions seem different too." she said. She could sense emotions and just the way he was now seemed strange and different from his normal self. It could be just her though since she just got done fighting. She continued staring at Texas. She was silent for a moment "Texas... I am a little worried... when we got out of your head, something else came out too..." she began as she looked at him with a concerned expression.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas listened to Mirai and cocked his head to the side slightly. "What do you mean "something else?" The only thing in my head is me." He gave a shrug. "There's nothing to be worried about. I'm fine." He gave another smile as he waited for her response. And I just want to show them.

Mirai continued staring at Texas before sighing and walking towards the mansion "Forget it... I'm tired..." Something still felt weird. Part of her was worried that this was not Texas. Sure he said he wasn't the sleeper but she could say she is a vampire and not mean it really. She needed to figure out a way to make sure this was Texas. For now she would leave it and just listen for now.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas began walking again once Mirai did. "Yeah, I guess you're worn out after all that fighting huh? You should take a rest." He followed behind her, looking around as he walked. "You ran that guy off good though. Can't deny that." And I just want to show them.

Mirai turned back into her normal form then. She walked a bit longer before stopping "Hey... that fight kind of made me think... Maybe I should give myself up for Atticus..." she said started as she looked at the ground. "I mean... he has a huge role as a Shinigami's weapon... a bigger role than I will ever have I guess... and I don't want to watch another person I love die..." she said as she looked at the ground with a grim expression.

Just like that, Mirai's eyes began to glow as she looked up at Texas "See... I know something is wrong. Before when I was talking about giving myself up for Texas, or talking about suicide. You were way more emotional about it." she said as the flowers began to hum slightly "So tell me Texas. What is up? If you don't I will go looking through your head myself." she warned him.
