There's suddenly a small, but frantic series of knocks on the door, followed by what sounds like someone trying to shove it open. "H-hey! Is anyone in there?! I can hear you guys!" (Whoa these threads move fast, lost my place in the chatter one. D: )
Xashowd suddenly notices a spider of some kind below where he was hovering. It seemed to also want in, but was more frantic. "Whoa, calm down down there! What's got you in such a rush?" Xashowd knew about the Grunny Attack, but this spider seemed a bit too frantic. Or maybe Xashowd was too calm? He shrugged, figuring he'd be fine whatever the situation at hand. Grunnies were small and easily knocked away by a few Wind Blasts, or incapacitated with some Air Chokes. They were no problem for him, even in his smaller form.
If there were Grombies about, however...those would prove to be a problem.
Needless to say, a look somewhere between confusion and a glare was donned soon enough. "Uh, gee, I don't know, it couldn't POSSIBLY be the fact that s**t has gone ABSOLUTELY BANANAS OUT HERE!" She said, gesturing behind herself violently.

" Pets Batty, though she was sure Batty could take care of it's self, she'd seen the way it handled Shinji and Aki after all. However, there needed to be more of plan than hey go check for people. She was about to voice this when the door was knocked upon again and voices followed. "Hang on, coming. No bites, right?" As she was moving the barricade and opening the door checking the newcomers before letting them in, she heard Laetan's words and looked over after closing the door. "Did a friend or pet hide when the lights went out?"

While waiting for an answer, the door opened. Xashowd flapped his wings in and replied to the question of the lady who opened the door. "No, I kinda just got here. Haven't even seen a Grunny yet, though it's not like they could touch me anyways. Even in this smaller form, I've got Wind Magic out the wazoo!" And apparently bravado, Xashowd suddenly noticed. It seemed his personality was slightly different in this form. He made a mental note of that and settled on the floor, hoping no one would try to step on him.
Xashowd sighed. This arachnid was clearly very agitated. "Yeah, I heard about the Grunny Attack. That's why I Wind Warped in here. I found this door and heard voices behind it, so I tried to open it. No dice. I've already knocked, but clearly you're more anxious to get in. Something special about this room?"
"Well, I hear people. Like, talking. Not hideous groaning 'I'm gonna eat your face' like stuff." She said, rubbing her temples with the tips of her fingers. "That's... a good sign, I think."

Bobs it's ears again and looks around the room, gripping it's little claws into Gypsy's clothes when she goes to stand. Holding it's cookie in it's mouth and flaps it's wings to stabilize itself.
"Where would Batty be going? I just getting here chu~?"
Sits down again and noms on it's cookie again. Sniffing at the door smiling at the newest arrivals to the game room, even if what everyone was playing wasn't technically a game.

"Yeah...my little golden grunny, Leppy...I found him in the basement a little while ago" She looked around in the dim light perplexed. "Where could he have run off to?"

"You know, just because you're scared doesn't mean you have to be rude. Grunnies are only a problem in large groups, and even then I can just air blast the suckers away." Xashowd told the spider. Hopefully she'd calm down now that they were in a safe area. Xashowd was surprised the spider would be afraid of the rabbits, though. Spiders had webbing and venomous bites. She could shoot the Grunnies to immobilize them and bite their ears or something to finish the job. Xashowd was suddenly more curious about the Spider's plight. Just ehy was it scared with that kind of arsenal?
Xashowd then noticed the bat in the room. Being a Vampire, Xashowd was very fond of the nocturnal creatures, and it seemed this one could speak English, and not just Battish. "Why hello there my little friend! How's life?"

"O-oh um, okay." This was her response to the little cat that had come in. "You might be exactly what we need depending on what a cure will involve needing." Her hand went to her mouth trying to stifle a giggle at what the other one who came in said. "I'm not going to require a strip search to be sure, I um think you're okay." The elf then gently petted Batty's head. "No where at the moment. You have a cookie to enjoy."

"EEEEEEEK!"Qwirkz squealed as she ran up to the door. She banged on it loudly."Please, please let me in. I do not like these things. They are not pleasant."She looked around nervously, scared that one would pop up any minute.

"Says the little pissant who doesn't freak out in an explosion of danger and grombies." She grumbled, settling down in a corner... before starting to crawl out of her mechanical spider legs, revealing a pair of rather human ones. "I'll be nicer when you start being smarter." She muttered, reaching out to stretch her sore muscles.
