He sighed sadly and watched her, listening intently. Though sometimes he didn't understand, he listened and petted her back. When she finished, he leant forward and massaged her cheek.
"Myyth, If I could do anything, I would. If you asked me to find a way, I would. You've looked after me and helped me settle more than anyone, even more than Jaden. You're an amazing person and a strong leader. You deserve some happiness..."

Taish held Etinenne's hand tight as he walked past her door. "So she kicked you out? Not a very nice Elder, is she, Etinenne? Did she even take the cake? No! Well, don't worry, lil' girl, it's probably not because she doesn't like you. Who could resist my little girl's face?" She giggled and he bent down to hold her in his arms. She was his most life-like doll, his masterpiece. "She doesn't like Daddy and various others things. No, she's not like that." Etinenne was connected to him through brainwaves that her AI and his brain gave out. She rarely ever talked out loud, even though she knew she could. "Etinenne! Where did you learn that word?" He said, not really mad at her, walking on out the apartment complex. "No more wandering on the streets."

"I'll be fine....." Myyth nodded, and with last swish of her tail headed towards the door. "You really don't need to clean this up, the new stuff will be a week and more coming." Ah well, he'd do as he liked, and if he wanted to sweep. She gave her head a last shake and bounded out the door, heading left so she wouldn't need to pass through the bar to get out.

Coming back inot her room, Myyth was pleasantly surprised to see the flowers, and went over to give them a good sniff. Reading Dusk's note, she almost smiles. He was a nice guy, it was sad he'd been forced into all this.

Hearing her landline ring, she wandered over and flipped it of the reciver with one paw, before hitting the talk button. She wasn't expecting the voice on the other end.

"Myythren I presume?" Myyth's ears went back in to the back her head at the sound of his voice, and an involuntary growel slipped out of her throat.
"Ah, good it is you. So you took our advise for the rest of your gestation. Not that a half human pup will amount to much, but we should make the best of it..........." Myyth considered just walking out right then. But she knew if He was calling something was up. Better to find out over the phone then after a roof sniper stated to take potshots at her and at Dusk.

"I was told you had the situation with that ship under control? Clearly whoever did so was mistaken. There's been large incident and the dock is gone. Phone calls have been made.....We're doing clean up at the national level.....You will fix everything down at yours and there will be no leaks or bodies for anyone to speculate over...."

"Whoever nominated you for elder can't shield you form this sort of screw up. Fix it.....or you know how it goes."

There was an audible click on the other end. Myyth sat still for all of 10 or 15 seconds, before she started swearing, ears lost in the fur on the top of her head. She wasn't sure if she hoped the lycan she'd sent was alive or dead. She wasn't even sure of which to hope for, because for this some heads would be rolling.

Leaving her room at a dead run, she headed for the stairs.

Coming back into her apartment from upstairs, Myyth carried her puppy in her mouth. Trotting to her bedroom, she plopped Nola on her bed. Form shifting back to human, she piled her bankets and pillows around the pup to ensure she wouldn't fall off the bed. Once Nola was secure, Myyth walked into her bathroom and tunred the shower on. She left the door open a couple inches just in case the puppy decided to start squeaking, and then stepped into the shower stall.

Feeling the warm water run down her back Myyth hummed quietly to a tune that was stuck in her head. Despite having an ear open for her pup, she took the few minutes to relax before she had to go back out.

Walking along the corridor, Dusk held Ki'lin happily under his arm and nuzzled her softly, smiling before he let go and gently knocked on the door to Myyth's apartment.
"Myyth, you decent? We're ready when you are..."

Hearing the knock, Myyth shook her hair out and stuck her hair out the bathroom door. "We'll be out in a moment........" Going back into her bedroom, she wrapped her puppy in the white baby blanket. Once she seemed to be content, Myyth walked over to her closet, grabbed her coat and went to the door.

Pulling it open, she smiled at Dusk and Ki'lin. "Hey, we're ready to go."

Kilin smiled and nodded in unison with Dusk. "Yes, we are ready whenever you are. This is going to be a big thing so take your time." Ki'lin nudged Dusk for agreement.
