Alyssa let him help her in and she buckled up. She looked out the window as they drove back into town and straight to the gym. "Thanks" she said getting out of the car and following him into the gym. She stayed close to him hiding her face since she didn't know anyone here. Besides she wasn't a big fan of being around people anymore.

"You're welcome." Michael said and smiled softly. He knew she would follow him around. He smiled at her. "I'll be right back." He said and quickly went to change into his gym shorts. He came back out and grabbed a pair of boxing gloves. The self defense trainer is here for about two more hours. After I finish up with my boxing we can go meet him." He told her, preceding she stay close to him for now.

Alyssa stayed where she was when e went to change. She looked at the ground feeling awkward. She relaxed when he came back and listened to him and nodded. "Okay" she said and followed him then took a seat on the floor carefully so she could watch him and stay out of his way.

Michael went over to a heavy bag and began his normal regiment. He moved quickly around the bag, hitting it hard with every punch. After twn minutes he got with his sparring partner and had a quick match. He barely came out on top in the end, but was smiling widely none the less. "See you later Jay." He said and went back over to Alyssa. Ready to go see the self defense trainer?" He asked her as he wiped the sweat off of his forehead.

Alyssa watched amazed at how quick he moved and how hard he could punch. She watched as he sparred and smiled seeing him smile. He seemed to really enjoy boxing and she liked watching him. She grabbed a sweat rag for him and nodded. "Okay Micheal. Here's a sweat rag" she said.

Michael took the sweat rag and smiled. "Thanks Alyssa." He said then led her to the self defense class. "Thats all for today class. See you tomorrow." The train or said then after everyone left. "Hey Casey. How's class going." Michael said and shook the man's hand. "Hey Michael. They're pretty good. Whose this?" Casey said when he noticed Alyssa. "A friend of mine. She was thinking of taking your classes when she was feeling better." Michael said. "We'd be happy to have you Alyssa. You can join whenever you want, though my beginner's class starts every third Thursday of the month." He said with a small smile.

Alyssa followed him to the class and kept her head down as the people walked past them since she didn't want people to see her bruised face although her sprained arm wasn't as easy to hide. She looked at Casey when Micheal introduced then and waved slightly. "Okay. Thank you" she said when he told her when the class starts.

mad "Anytime." Casey as d and smiled. They talked for a little while longer then headed out. "I don't know about you, but I'm ready to go home." He said as he opened the door for Alyssa and smiled. "You'll be safe with me Alyssa. I promise you that." He said softly then got in himself and headed home.

Alyssa let them talk then followed him to the car and got in. She looked at him when she sat down and blushed again at his words. She smiled and nodded. "Thanks Micheal. I really appreciate it" she said.

Michael smiled and blushed softly. "You're welcome Alyssa." He told her then headed back to their apartment. Once back, he parked a d got out. He helped Alyssa out of the car then followed Ber inside. "Want to watch a movie before we go to bed?" He asked. He had the TV set up with a DVD player hooked to it. "Cable company is coming tomorrow to hook up cable and the internet." He told her as he sat on the couch.

Alyssa got out and walked to their apartment with him. "Okay" she said and following him inside. "Alright" she said not really sure what else to say since she hadn't used those things either. She sat down next to him on the couch.

Michael grabbed the remote and turned the TV on. He started the movie then sat back. "Do you have any movies that you want to watch?" He asked her, wondering if he had any movies she would want to watch.

Alyssa watched as he started the movie. "Do you have something funny?" She asked him. She really wanted to laugh. She felt like she just really needed to laugh now that she was free to.

"Yeah I have a few funny movies." Michael said then got up. He grabbed his funny movies and brought them over to Alyssa. "Any one of these look good?" He asked her as he handed her the movies to look through.

Alyssa took the movies and looked through them. "I like this one" she said showing him Rush Hour. "I used to watch this a lot with my dad" she said. "This one and A Walk to remember because I liked them so much" she said remembering her dad.
