Dissatisfied with the girl, Silver blue turned away and batted at her with his wing. As if to say you are Not good enough! Move along now. Deciding he’d wasted enough time among these useless candidates he turned his attention elsewhere. Should he? Oh why not? Silver blue bumbled up to the Stands. Nosing and shoving those who didn’t move out of his way fast enough.
Rusted blinked slowly as she watched a blue heading up into the Stands. Oh was she supposed to go up there? No she didn’t think so. That feeling that tugged at her. She turned her head back to the candidates. Her eyes whirled a calm green. No that feeling tugged her this way. Slowly Rusted green got to her feet and padded slowly toward the girls. She glanced at the boys a couple of times , but showed no inclination to go over there.

Balchas shot a guilty look at his sister then pointed to the now seemingly rampaging blue, that was explanation enough for him. Of course she was right in her thoughts, except for where she was possibly going to be hurt, he wasn't about to lose his baby sister, not that she was a baby anymore but still.
Uh oh, the blue was heading to the stands, he shot another look at Bacha and twirled his finger round near his head, imitating that the blue was crazy. He watched as a green made her way towards the girls, not interested in the boys? that was ok, his sister was with the girls, go Impress her, a nice gentle, calm dragon for his baby sister would be nice.

Bacha
That tiny blue? She arched her eyebrow after looking at the dragon making his way though the stands. Bacha wondered if someone forgot to mention to that dragon that blues were suppose to be bigger. She'd have to ask her brother which shell he'd come from.
The girl giggled as Balchas motioned the dragon was crazy. He could be right. To her it looked like the blue wasn't looking for His, but just going up there to get people to move out of his way. She'd make sure her brother got his arm tended properly after the hatching. Bacha noticed the calm green and watched her. She was a sweet thing.

Hesper let out a breath that was a combination of relief and disappointment as the little blue left her. He was making his way up to the stands now - one non-candidate had already impressed. Hepser wondered how many other dragons wouldn't be able to find what they wanted among the trained candidates. She hoped not very many of them.

Ritsas eyes had followed the frosted green a moment before moving away as she impressed. Her heart growing heavy as the blue headed up the stands. Each dragonett that hatched seemed to want anyone but her. Closing her eyes in order to reassure herself the hatching had not even come close to finishing. There were still chances to impress and she should not give up so easily. Opening her eyes Rista sucked in a breath of air. There was another green and heading for what looked like the direction of the girls. Her heart dropped each time the green looked away but seemed to renew itself when the green continued on her course.

The green made her way sedately over the Sands. She didn’t push, she didn’t shove. Only a gentle touch of her snout told a candidate she wanted past. There. Her feeling led her this way. Rusted walked, pausing to peer up into faces. She gave a soft chirp to Hesper as though encouraging her, but it wasn’t Hesper she was looking for. Can you hear your Swanith RitsaMine? It is so confusing with my brothers and sisters going every which way. I think we’re suppose to go to the tables now though. Dazzling eyes gazed up at Ritsa. Back at the eggs another began to hop. The Shooting Star Egg was going to make a bouncy entrance!

With the addition of another Impression, the feeding tables were finally beginning to look populated. Also.. lots of girls. Interesting. S'aen wasn't the type to become overly conscious of such a thing but it was something he found curious. He held no reservations against women, but it would be nice to have another guy to talk to. Although... did it truly matter?
As Kaimi approached them, he glanced at those he had not spoken to yet and decided to use the opportunity to do so. "It seems we'll be seeing a lot of each other after this." He spoke with a small smile, looking to his fellow new weyrlings. It seemed in good taste to become acquainted with them all, and of course it seemed smart to get on good terms with a new goldrider. Following suit, Jaecath would offer a soothing rumble to his sisters, his words audible by all of them.
It is a pleasure, sisters, to finally see you all face to face. I am glad to see you happy and with Yours. You have all made fine choices, and I look forward to working together with you. Yes, Jaecath was abuzz in his head about the work to be done; he was now the member of a system that required him to do his best. There was no doubt he and His would do just fine, but he knew there was plenty of work to be done in regards to their potential. The brown's eyes whirled blue as he observed his siblings, and S'aen felt a chill run up his spine as a wave of happiness washed over him, the intensity of being a part of someone else's emotions still rough to adapt too.
He smiled even so, but his smile dropped as he saw one of the newer hatchlings barreling into the stands. There had always been stories of stands Impressions, so he knew it wasn't particularly crazy; seeing it was a completely different story, though. I hope he doesn't hurt anyone. The boy glanced at Jaecath, who was watching as calmly as ever.
I hope not as well. However, if His is there, he must do what he can in order to get to them. If you had been in the stands I would have lumbered my way up them as well. The brown nodded slowly in satisfaction, leaving S'aen grinning largely to himself.
Oh! It seemed another one of them had Impressed. When Ritsa would approach the tables, S'aen offered her his congratulations as well, Jaecath's own rumble of pleasure following.

Where did that blue think he was going? Jemi snorted, head craning to watch the blue clamber into the stands? "Dim glow, what you going to find up there?" She shook her head and looked back over hatchings. She skipped the bronze, looked at the ocean green, then the rather lanky blue and then the calm rusted. Ooh, an impression.
Good for her.

Lanky Hidden Blue merely stood there for a long while as one of his siblings impressed, watching the spectacle with great interest. He took a few hesitant steps toward the girls but came to a startled halt. His eyes whirled frantically in his head and he opened his maw to let out worried little noises. However, it wasn't the screeching that he'd let out earlier, no. These were little shrill sounds that was almost like the peeping of a baby wherry. His wings fluttered anxiously at his sides, scanning the faces of the candidates.
Where.. where was his? Were they there? Were they playing some trick? His peeping face turned to the stands to watch one of his siblings ascend it, but seemed unsure. No.. no he didn't think His was up there. He certainly hoped not.

Wen shook his head and slowly undid his braid, racking his fingers through the soaked hair to wring some of it out. He paused, looking over at the Lanky Hidden blue as the little thing cheap. That.. was sort of adorable. He gave a slight smile and shook his head, braiding back his hair in a loose and relax tie.

Kaimi
Kaimi beamed at Saenshu as she fished out a gob of meat and fed it to Zimrith. Between hatching and dancing about before she had impressed, the little green had suddenly become overwhelmed with hunger and exhaustion.
"Sure will!" Kaimi chirped, feeding another piece of meat to Zimrith who seemed to believe chewing was overrated. "I can't wait for lessons to start." Which was odd. Kaimi was not a lessons kind of girl, but she felt this overwhelming eagerness to learn everything she possibly could about taking care of Zimrith. Her sweet dancing green deserved the very best, after all.
You are the best, Kaimimine. Zimrith said told her rider placidly. And we will learn together Towards her brother Jaecath, Zimrith commented Yours seems well matched to you too, brother. I hope the rest of our siblings do as well as we have. The little green was content to be amongst her sister and brother and their chosen bondmates. It was good to be out in the open and amongst friends.

Things had been going so well and Lypith had been enjoying herself but suddenly the green's mood shifted. That poor little, well little compared to her anyways, blue. She shifted about on her perch again resisting the urge to just swoop down and comfort the hatchling until it felt ready to search again. Things would be so much easier if she could show the little ones how wonderful the world was and tell them of what awaited them. She might not always remember the good things that had happened to her but she knew there were many of them. Alara's mind was always full of references and Lypith could sense that her rider was happy about their life more often than not.
May I talk to him?
No, you could distract him or upset Hyweth Alara didn't want to risk the safety of any of the dragons. Lypith might be a safe distance above the sands but if she did anything that impeded a hatchling's impression the young woman had no doubt that the gold would take off after her faster than during a flight. I know you mean well, but wait, you can get to know them all soon. There would be plenty of time later for the pair to meet the new riders and dragons. Alara even had some good stories ready to tell during the feast and a couple slight of hand tricks and such to go along with them.

The Shooting Star egg continued its shifting and bumping about. All the activity within the shell began to take its toll and cracks began form, before causing the lovely shell to split apart and fall away. Without the confines of his egg, out sprawled a very, very large blue. Rolling to his feet, the hatchling stood, looking around at the gathered people and the few siblings of his who were milling about.
A fat heavy drop of rain plopped down on his muzzle, causing the blue to jump slightly. What was that?! Looking up at the sky, some more heavy rain pattered the youngster. He seemed to pause, contemplating the substance falling all around him. Finally, he gave an utterly joyful little baby bugle, hopping about before essentially belly flopping into a growing puddle forming on the sands. This was fun! Whoopee!

Aspith was normally the reserved sort, he preferred to watch and evaluate before making any sort of comment. Now though even he could not resist the urge to answer the newly hatched blue's bugle. There were so many blue dragons on the sands, some larger and some smaller than the standard like himself. Either way he favoured them all above the rest of the clutch, thus far anyways. He still held tiny reservations about them as he did for any he did not truly know.
He hoped they chose quickly so he could study them sooner and determine if any of them were to be trusted by E'zen and himself.
E'zen himself was laughing with those who had opted to sit next to him and making small bets about which dragons on the sands would impress first and if there were yet more eggs hidden on the wet hatching grounds. For the moment he was relaxed, enjoying the peaceful turn the hatching had taken and the way it brought people together despite the inclement weather.

She was back on track. With the hatching of the Shooting star egg as a blue meant she was six for eight. Not bad at all. Jemi grinned slightly and then snorted as the newly hatched blue belly flopped. This one was going to be a handful. She hopped he rubbed and cuddled everyone and shared alll the muddy wealth.
