 ❧ Koko tore her eyes away from the mural and glanced at Britt, then Zach. "O- Okay Zach," She replied before turning to the mural again. "Wait a minute," She said, grabbing her bag and taking her phone out of it. She couldn't get a connection but at last her camera was working. She took several pictures of the mural, then the whole surrounding area. She shook her head back and forth. "This is too weird..." Her voice trembled slightly. "I still don't get what's going on..." She sniffed before moving forward again. "I mean, that mural... I- It looked like it could... Resemble us... But I mean... How?" Koko continued babbling as she walked. "This doesn't make any sense... Treat me right and I'll treat you right. - - - - - - Brittany ☪ Walters- - - - - -  She turned quickly from the mural and started walking feeling immensely queesy. This can't be happening, Where are we? WHAT are we. she thought to herself she guided her hand up her "wing" and pinched it gropping in pain. that hurt more than I expected.. she tugged on it also feeling it tug on her back. so this isn't a sick joke this is reality I suppose. she turned on her heels to her friends "Guys, we need to get ourselves together. Kokoro, You and I have fly zack to the city..there isn't a bus or road for miles can you do it?"

  Zach walked away and followed along with Koko and Britt. He turned to Britt when she suggested they fly and thought it was a bit of a funny idea. He knew he didn't have any wings ore anything like that, but he wasn't the type to agree to flying easily. "Hey. Have you guys even tried flying far distances?" he asked. "And I don't think we'll last long in the air if you two are carrying me. Not to offend you two, but I don't think both of you are strong enough to carry my weight."

❧ Koko turned to Britt when she proposed a plan and blinked at her friend with an incredulous expression. "Britt, Zach may be right. Even if we were strong enough, we don't know how to work these wings that well," She responded. As she walked through the newly erected structures, she began to hear what sounded like humming. But it wasn't humming, rather, it was a circle of people chanting in low tones. She whipped her head from side to side. "I'm hearing sounds again," She said with confusion, maybe even anxiety. THey just got their wings they have no idea how to use them right, even if they tried. "Then how do you suppose we get out of here Zachary." Brittany only uses Zachs full name whenever she gets ticked off it may be at him but thats not necessarily the case here. Gritting her teeth she looked at Kokoro through all the frustration going through her head at the moment she paid no mind to useless sounds around here. Her friends were getting scared the only one to anchor them down was her so she couldn't get scared someone had to be strong. Looking up she moved some hair out of her face from the wind passing through she looked at Kokoro "Kokoro calm down..you could just be overreacting."

Zach stayed silent and gave a silent sigh. He felt like he just made the situation worse for them by putting them down more. "Well, sor-ry if I was trying to get a few facts out," he said back at Britt. He turned to Koko when he heard her talk about voices again. He stayed silent to see if he could hear the voices as well, but only heard slight whispers. "Britt. I don't think she's going crazy for hearing voices."

There was indeed faint whispers around them all most as if they were surrounded. She swiftly moved into a circle to scan the area but it was complete day time and she couldn't see anything. Her face went sad " I just want to go home." finally saying crying into her hands

Zach saw Britt cry and felt bad that she was already falling apart. He walked over to her and patted her back lightly, rubbing it gently. "Calm down, Britt. We'll find a way back home. I know we can," he said with a gentle smile. He wanted to pick her back up since she was always strong. Especially since she had younger siblings to help support.

 ❧ Koko whipped her head around to glare at Britt as she told her to calm down. "I'm calm as ********> She said, obviously not calm. She just didn't like it when people told her to calm down. Besides, if her hearing strange sounds was overreacting, she hoped this entire issue itself was her overreacting as well. But Koko's expression softened when she saw Britt and frowned. They shouldn't be fighting like this. Everyone was just as frightened as she was. "Yeah, Zach's right. We'll find a way," She nodded determinedly. But Koko continued to hear those low chants, and as the trio continued walking, the chanting got louder and louder.... And closer. She whipped her head from side to side in order to find the source of the sound and her eyes widened she laid eyes on a high, raised, stone platform, with stone stairs leading up to it. There were beautiful, carved columns that held up a sort of roof over the platform, probably to protect from rain and whatnot. On the platform was a circle of people, dressed in long, white robes that reached their feet. Their heads bowed and hands clasped as if in prayer. Koko took a step back, however, she continued to stare. "What are they doing?" She whispered, mainly to herself. It looked as if they were doing a sort of sacred ritual. Once she started thinking about her 4 younger siblings and her parents then tears just came. She turned to Zach and hugged him she noticed him being cold she let him go and smirked a bit with irony. Hearing the chanting getting louder there was a group of monks from the looks of it seem like they were indeed doing a ritual but of what kind? she looked at her friends and nodded "We should go talk to them.. they may know something."

❧ Koko nodded her head absent-mindedly as she listened to Zach and Britt. The mysterious group's chanting was sort of... Entrancing. She turned to look at Zach and nodded her head again, in agreement this time. "Yeah... I mean... Have you seen the movies? Humans tend to attack whatever they fear or don't understand," She replied with a tight-lipped frown. The chanting of the group gradually got softer and softer, until it was barely whispers. After a while, it seemed as if they were finished with whatever it was that they were doing, and each person took a large step backward. The bowed slightly at the waist before turning and dispersing. One of the white robed people, turned to head down the stone steps, but stopped when s/he spotted Zach, Britt, and Koko, staring incredulously at them. sтαтυs: Scared, Nervous ♡ ωεαρση: None ♡ σσc: Lalala~

Zach listened as the chanting diminished until he heard no one around except them. He heard footsteps behind them and froze. 'Crud,' he thought. He slowly turned and saw that it was one of the priests or priestess was standing on one of the steps like she was going down. He practically showed fear in his eyes saying 'Don't harm us, please.'

❧ Koko ceased walking as she heard someone's footsteps down the stone steps. Her eyes widened in terror as she slowly turned to face the robed person, who was staring at them with wide eyes as well. She gulped, desperately hoping nothing would happen to them. She didn't say anything, in fear her words could only make matters worse. Her friends weren't saying anything either. So it was silent for a couple of moments as the white-robed person's magenta eyes pierced through them. Koko wondered why the person hasn't screamed, called for help, or do anything a normal human would do upon seeing three nonhuman teenagers. After a while of silence, the person smiled softly, his or her's expression relaxing. The person pulled down their hood, revealing short, blonde hair. The woman took a step closer to the trio, just as Koko simultaneously took a step back. The woman extended her hand, soft smile still on her face. "It's fine. I'm not going to hurt you," She told them in a soothing voice. Koko blinked, expression bewildered at her words. Was she speaking the truth? She slowly turned her head towards her friends, to see what they would say.
