I glanced over he was indeed stupid, if he didn't even know what Reiatsu was that is, and he had just proved my point.
'Baka' I thought to my self.
However, i held up my hand so that the tips of my fist and second finger ran parrelell to my line of sight, and my third and forth finger closed slightly. I began to concentrate. Reiatsu was spirit energy basically, I alone knew at least that much. Though, i didn't know how to concentrate it at all.
I began to "feel" my reiatsu moving towards the tips of my fingers, but it was hard, really hard.

Hideki looked at his student like he was a small dog trying to get attention. "Reiatsu is the energy or you strength that dwells within you. You can use this strength and do all types of spells and techniques that this academy teaches." He kept the reiatsu that kept boiling in his hand. It started to form into a long spear like object.
"Heavens Javelin,!" Hideki shouted, The reiatsu that formed within his hands that resembled a spear was threw as hard as he could at the wall. "with your reiatsu you can also create spells, as long as they had a form to them."
The Javelin of Reiatsu hit the wall, it sounded like the crackle of lightning and the wall began to surge with electricity. "That right there is actually a binding spell I created on my last trip to earth."

After relaxing his mind for several hours, Bukotsu awoke to find himself with his head on. In his dream however he heard a voice that was similar to Hideki sensei. Could he create spells other than the Hadou-ken and Shoryu-ken? He would figure this out later.
Rubbing his eyes, he stood up and strapped his Zanpaktou to his back. Heading back into the room with the targets, he saw that there was a lighting fast bolt that flew accross the room and had crashed into the wall.
"I've never seen or heard of anything like that spell before..." Bukotsu said walking in. Arriving late as usual he went by Hisakata, "Hey, did I miss anything?" Bukotsu he asked smiling weakly.

I nod, i was irritating the Sensei so I thought it best to keep my mouth shut now. I started to focus. I tried to focus energy into my hand but nothing was coming. Why couldn't i do this? This was difficult. I growled as i just tried to get some together.
"Okay...that's not going to work." I tried to get my Reiatsu to my hand this time, starting from the very beginning.

Hideki grinned to see Bukotsu come back. Then his attention back back on one of the new students. "You cant just consentrate your energy into your hand you have to force it. You have to have the mind set of a CERTIAN path. The Reiatsu must be pushed through you by YOU, not by your consentration or focus."
Hideki stopped again. Forming the Reiatsu in his hand once again. He made the motion of pushing the reiatsu through his arm. Viens pulsing in his arm as the reiatsu was pushed.

I understood. I knew how this had to work. This wasn't a case of focus, or the mind or body, but of the spirit. I closed my eyes for a moment preparing myself and i started to force my Reiatsu up to the tips of my fingers.
Yet still it was hard. I creased my brow as i forced through more of my spirit. Then it just disappeared as quickly as it had come. Gone.
"..." I opened my mouth to gasp at the sudden emptyness but nothing came out. I was certainly not at the standard that he had expected me to be. Damn it.

I nodded fiercely. I would get this right. I would master this skill. At least...i would master it before him over there. Springing my eyes open i shoved as much Reiatsu as i could muster down my arm and into my hand. I thought i caught sight of something flickering, but it went just as quickly as it had come. I tried to keep the pressure building, keeping it stronger and tougher as much as i could.
"What the hell?" I growled when my Reiatsu disappeared. I looked around to see if anyone had done something, but no, everyone seemed to be doing there own thing. Why then, was my Reiatsu not building up again. I flexed my fingers.
"I will master this," I snarled and forced my Reiatsu down my arm, into my hand.

Shiraku looked around at everyone he wasnt totally paying attention, he ws more wondering what that heavens javelin had been. He had taken in most of what had gone on and even when Bukotsu had come back in.
Now he with his own hands was trying to figure out the whole spell without an incantation thing. All the other spells that he was fluent in used spells and they were easy to do, this pure reiatsu spell must be an advance technique of something.
Hideki's eyes shifted. He was wondering if anyone had relized that what he had just showed the was an advanced kind of hadou/bakudou technique. He knew why they were not getting the reiatsu out of themselves so easily. Hadou and Bakudou spells were much easier when the spell was spoke before the reiatsu was forced.
"Ok You guys try doing the spell incantation and the name before you try to force the reiatsu, then it should be easier."

"Uh...hai," I said. Then went off the deep end, "Ye Lord, Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man, Inferno and pandemonium, The sea barrier surges, March on to the south!." I formed a quick hand signal that i had seen a Shinigami perform before when doing this.
I was building up my Reiatsu the whole time trying to get it out. I stood up looking where i wanted to aim.
"Hado #31, ShakkahÅ," I roared releasing my Reiatsu into my palm. I red flash appeared in my hand and then it fizzled. I tried to move my body, but it wouldn't go.
"Shoot," I gasped as i lost conciousness and fell to the side.

I watched as he fell. He should have known that that was too advanced for him. I sighed. This was going to take some hard work, but i decided to with the White lightning spell.
"Hado #4, Byakurai," I forced my Reiatsu up and launched it with the tip of my finger at the point where he had been aiming his level 31.
It fizzled out halfway there, even if it had hit, it would have only caused a slight tickling sensation though. I ggasped for air as i suddenly felt really drained. Though i counted myself lucky that i wasn't on the floor.

Hideki looked at the now unconscious student. "He didn't have good control over his reiatsu" hideki said as he picks up the student. "Keep trying while I move him to a better location." Hideki took a quick large steps and layed him on the floor near the wall. It was only natural to overdo it while trying to first use your reiatsu.
Hideki looked back to see the other newcomer, he still didnt know these students names. He had done the spell correct it just didnt seem like he put enough reiatsu into it.

I sat up straight wondering if i could get a higher level of Reiatsu up. Byakurai...or white lightning was supposed to be one of the easiest levels. Yet...i felt completely drained after just one. This wasn't right. Perhaps i wasn't what the Shinigami were looking for after all.
Well that was either here nor there, i was here to complete my lessons to the best of my abilities.
"Hado #4 Byakurai!" I said with a little more authority. I forced my Reiatsu straight into my finger, concentrating it in a funnell method. gathering all my Reiatsu in one place. Then i launched it.
My Reiatsu glowed a little at the tip of my finger, and a speedy flash suddenly shot off from it to the wall. It hit the wall...yes...but...nothing happened.
My head fell to the desk.
"Is this...all i'm capable of," I gasped for breath, "A measley level 4 byakurai."

I remained unconcious on the floor. Completely drained of my Reiatsu from even attempting the HadÅ #31. I couldn't think unconciously at the moment, let alone move my body to get up. I was useless. I didn't even have a Zanpakuto like everyone else yet. Dammit.
'Why am i so weak,' my mind sighed.

I looked up from my desk. Hunger raged in my stomach like a full blown war. I attempted to stand up and misplaced my footing, causing me to stumble slightly. I was no good to the class like this.
I nodded towards the Sensei that i was going since my body threatened to give way if i even tried to use my mouth. I felt as if someone had just sucked the life out of me. I looked back. I almost felt pity for him, but deeper i felt admiration. He had tried something which feared. Thus at the moment. He was stronger than me. There was no room for fear as a Shinigami, so at the moment, i was worthless.
I dragged myself out of the classroom in order to find somewhere that i could eat.
[I'm gonna do some self studying for a while on this lesson, and perhaps what was done in the first lesson]

I sat up slowly. I wasn't too sure why i was on the floor. I rubbed the back of my head where no doubt a bruise was forming and then i remembered. I remembered the flash of red and the sudden drain of energy from my body. It was how quickly my Reiatsu was absorbed that had confused me. If i had attempted a level 90 Hado...i doubt even if i could have got the Reiatsu to even be spent for it.
I looked up at the sensei.
"Sumimasen...it seems i went a little overboard," I quickly went back to my seat. How had i lost so much Reiatsu so quickly though...shouldn't i have had a little more say in the matter about how much i spent? Damn it.
