Ash's answer was to shrug since his mouth was currently full, indicating that he hadn't the slightest clue whether that was true or not - understandable, since he was the only Pokémon in existence that used to be human.
Pikachu, meanwhile, began sneakily stealing food off Chiryoku's plate, only to be promptly lifted in the air by an unseen psychic force and turned upside-down, looking rather sheepish when he saw his clone staring at him with crossed arms and glowing eyes.

Ash, however, grabbed his beloved's hand and grinned at her. "Ah-ah-ah - the exchange rate is three kisses for one piece of food," he told her teasingly.
Pikachu blushed slightly, but nevertheless licked her cheek back even as Pikachutwo (or rather, Synapse, since he vaguely remembered Mewtwo mentioning that that was his name now) looked on.

(Except for the transitional episodes in which he has yet to meet his next traveling buddy, you mean. xd )

Ash just seemed to nod dumbly, a little dazed. Apparently May's kisses had quite the effect on him - who knew?
Yes, I remember those two, Chiryoku noted. I'll admit they didn't make as much of an impression on me as Ash did, but the events in which we met made it rather difficult to forget them.

"We kick their butts, of course!" Ash declared... right before Mewtwo smacked him upside the head hard enough to force the young man into a faceplant. "...Ow..."
I think the idea is that she DOESN'T want to face off against Team Rocket, Mewtwo deadpanned.

"Well, yeah," Ash reluctantly allowed, "but that was before me and Pikachu got a power boost, remember? I'm sure we could handle them now!"
Perhaps, but they have a distinct edge over you that might make the difference. Once Chiryoku was sure he had his Trainer's attention, he continued, You have a kind heart, and a sense of morality, and so there are certain lines you refuse to cross, certain things you will not do. Team Rocket has no such inhibitions - they will not hesitate to kidnap, torture, and kill those close to you in order to get to you. You may be able to handle Team Rocket, but May doesn't have Pokémon abilities like you do - to put it bluntly, she is your greatest weakness, and Team Rocket will not hesitate to get ahold of her in order to get to you.
That seemed to get through to the stubborn boy, because Ash paused, glancing over at May with concern. "All right, fine, no engaging Team Rocket... but just so we're clear, I'm not happy about this."
Chiryoku simply nodded in understanding. Ash may have been a hero a thousand times over at this point, but at heart he would always be a Trainer, and as such was never one to run from a fight unless absolutely necessary. His new Pokémon urge to battle probably wasn't helping that particular trait either.

Ash nodded in understanding, instinctively wrapping his arms around his girlfriend and kissing her on the cheek. "So then, what now?" he asked sheepishly, having not the slightest clue what to do next - in other words, par for the course.

"Hey, I've got plenty of energy!" Ash insisted, obviously not wanting to miss a chance to have sex with May even as Pikachu hopped on his shoulder.
Chiryoku rolled his eyes again, looking rather exasperated. If you two are going to talk about this, shouldn't you do it where there isn't any chance of other people overhearing?'

Ash pouted slightly, but reluctantly settled for ogling his girlfriend in the bikini, changing into swim trunks in the changing room before following May and blatantly undressing her with his eyes.
Chiryoku, on the other hand, just shifted his human appearance a little so that he was wearing purple swim trunks instead of his usual attire, heading into the pool with the rest alongside Synapse.
